Absolutely loved the experience. We had the boxing day brunch menu on 26 Dec and it was exceptionally wonderful. The service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a 5 star Kerala food experience.
I had a nice experience. The food was quite good. Got to try some traditional Kerala cuisine. Please note that there is limited choice for vegetarians. People who love sea food will enjoy. Anjith was very helpful in selecting the best food. He was also very attentive to our needs throughout.
I recently dined at Chef Pillai, and I must say their food surpassed all expectations. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, leaving me with a taste sensation that I haven't experienced in quite a while. From the appetizers to the main course Chef Pillai's expertise shone through making it a dining experience I won't soon forget.
Restaurant Chef Pillai, offers a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The restaurant's signature dish, 'Nirvana,' intrigued me, so I tried the vegetarian version, 'Paneer Nirvana.' While it was enjoyable, it didn't top my list of best dishes ever. However, the overall dining experience was positive, with each dish presenting good flavours and quality. This spot is worth a visit for those curious to taste Chef Pillai's culinary creations. 🍽️ 👨🍳
We had a good experience, food was ok, especially liked the fish curry, injipuli wings and palada cheese cake. Nikkah biriyani was just average, no WoW factor. Price was ok , service is good, Ambience is very nice. Overall experience was ok.
Tastiest yummiest food i ever had. Starters were my favourite,it was a fusion of North Indian- Kerala cuisine. Starters are worth a try, main dishes seemed normal. Quite expensive though. It costed Rs 8500 for we 4 people.
It was my dad’s 60th and it was such a pleasant experience. Sharon, Abhisha, anjit was so attentive. They made it just extra special. Kerala food at its best. Loved the crab roast and prawns varuval. Absolutely wonderful.
I recently dined at chef Pillai restaurant kochi..
it was outstanding. Each dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offered a diverse range of options, catering to various tastes, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite.Especially FISH NIRVANA ..
Visited the place during my last vacation and it totally stood up to the hype. I wouldn't say it's overpriced, because the quality of ingredients was really good. I guess this place is always crowded and with its popularity I would say the service was also goood. We were a group of 8 adults and the portions were upto the expectation. What do I recommend? Obviously, the fish nirvana and nool porotta. As starters, the injipuli chicken wings and masala Prawns. Oh, the fish platter was also really good!! My only suggestion is to include a dessert that is not so high in sugar.
We (Hubby, myself, our two boys and baby girl)visited the restaurant on 22.12.2023.Myself being a big admirer of Chef Pillai this was in my bucket list though couldnt meet Chef as he was at Kollam that day. We were very much impressed with the hospitality of staff from the entrance. We ordered the TBH nirvana platter.Welcome drink came only after 3 sets of starters only when we asked. There was also a big gap in dishes coming to table.all the starters, main course, desserts and sulaimani were yum especially, starters panipuri sambaram, pazhampori chat and injipuli chicken. Kappa pidi with papadam was the one dish that put us off😞It was frozen inside and we hurt our teeth biting into it.Asked the serving staff Mr.Anandhu who later brought us fresh hot ones.Mr. Saran apologised and was taking good care of us. Appreciate that. Hope no frozen food would be served henceforth.
