This legendary place has not changed much except that they don't let you eat inside the compound any more. Long queues only prove that people come again and again for this simple food. In this age of fancy food this place has not lost its charm and i am glad. We had mutton pasties, chicken roll, cheese sandwich and ginger lemon juice.
Had been to this place since my childhood.. But last experience left the bitter taste.. We had to wait for the long queue.
They don't allow more then one person to go inside the shop, even when you're together..
Must try - chicken burger, cheesecake, tiramisu pastry, wine biscuits, Bread pudding. Only drawback is that you cannot eat in their premise, they only serve takeaways.
The food was good but have had better puffs and rolls at some other bakeries. The bakery is situated inside a bungalow behind holy family hospital on St Andrews road. It has a very old Portuguese/Goan vibe.
I would rate the place 4 star relative to my experience at other bakeries in Bandra.
One of the most rare visit where in a place that does not offer much as an ambience is so highly rated. The only answer would be the quality food. It was exactly as the hypothesis made, the food is gourmet. The prices are too reasonable to be true. They are still following covid guidelines which is a great touch and talks about the ethics. It's a must visit for a food. Please note- donot eat in the compound.

In the heart of Bandra west lies this 100 year old quaint bakery specialised in chicken puffs and cutlets. Everything tastes fresh from the oven and often runs out immediately. You have to wait outside but trust me, its worth it.
Tried veg burger and it was too yum (later regret why I bought only 1) veg roll was also nice and they have plum cake small size but too tasty. Must try.
They don’t allow to eat in compound, you have option only for take away.
Tasy food at a very reasonable price. Quick service. Like the way the crowd is handled and people do wait patiently to order the food.
Well, they say if you are around Bandra you should visit this place....Little different location for such outlets...Only take aways, you can't eat there. Try all snacks, mainly the NV stuff, good taste 👍
Came back here after ages. The quality is still the same! Amazing baked goods. Their chicken burger doesn’t disappoint.
They’ve always been very organized with the ordering process. As much as you’d want h to stuff your face with the food there, remember that you can’t eat around the premises. So plan to take your food to-go.
The food items are very delicious and fresh. Some of the menu items like chicken/Mutton puffs and Chicken/cheese Croissant are exclusive kinds of items. The chicken lollypop and Biryani was also too good. I haven't tried the common bakery items like bread, buns and cakes but they must be fresh as Demands are so high. The only thing which can be improved is the long queue for placing the order (it takes around 15-20 min at peaks).
