Consistent in quality and taste of food. Loved the non veg Bento box as well.

Must try: Mochar Ghonto, Mochar Chop, Fish Fry, Prawn Cutlet

Though price is higher compared to the quantity but worth it. It’s Oh Calcutta! afterall :)

By far one of the overpowered Bengali Restaurant Chain. Has a great variety of Bengali Food Options with a courteous staff who are comfortable with Bengali increasing the easiness and hospitality. The Ambience is good but the seating arrangements are very compact and not spacious. Coming to the Food , Luchi is delicious and properly fried and chicken kosha too was tasty. Had ordered the best dish here, Boneless Ilish (Hilsa) and it was extremely disappointing. The hilsa wasn't juicy and sweet and didn't have the real fragnance and seemed adulterated. Could've been a lot better. Fish Fry was delicious and had genuine Bhetki and wasn't smelly and properly marinated. Nalin Gurer ice cream was great as a dessert. The food items are expensive. Would recommend with Family.

Quite on expected lines. Good place if you are looking to have some authentic Bengali food. The comforting ambience along with the soft background instrumentals makes the place even better! Apart from the normal cuisine, other specials being offered in different seasons is a must try-like the Nolen Gurer Rosogolla in winter!!

It is one of the famous fine dine Bengali restaurants in Mumbai. I have been here couple of times.
Upsides:
- The staff here is very courteous.
- Small things but important to bong dishes such as gondhoraj lebu is often offered complimentary.
- Must try dishes like dab chingri, mutton kosha, chicken kosha, sorshe mach and jhuri aloo bhaja

Downsides:
- It is a little expensive
- Zomato gold does not cover key dishes such as fishes.
- They have service charge which is often more than the cost of one dish.

I would recommend to try this out at least once if you are a fan of Bengali food. Bring your family or friends too during special occasions to give them a special treat. If you are unsure what to have, just ask the staff they are very helpful and will guide you.

I really loved the food, service, ambience and everything about my dine in Oh! Calcutta. I will recommend everyone to visit this if you are fond of Bengali food. However, when I ordered (multiple times) some of the dishes from the this restaurant, the quality was really bad. In fact I hated the delivered food. The restaurant shouldn't ignore their delivery section.

An enchanting experience- The overall feel of the place, the ambience, the staff, the food and drinks options and quality - just about everything is exceptional. We ordered for non veg thali. They also have veg thali . Thalis are a must have of this place but remember thalis are available only Mon-Fri , not on weekends. Thalis are reasonably priced and 15 dishes including chicken, mutton, fish, prawns, sweet dish etc. is served in non veg thali . Delightful ! We also ordered for extra fish fry and that too was yummy. All the preparations are mind blowing ,especially if you have the taste and liking for Bengali food, this is a must visit place. The best Bengali food we have had. It keeps you wanting to come back for more. Such is the magic. Staff is also very good and make the right recommendations.

Oh Calcutta..! It's one of the most amazing place that I have been to for some authentic Bengali food 🐟. There are many outlets in Mumbai of the restaurant like one in Tardeo, Andheri, Malad. I visited the outlet situated in Andheri West. The place is located just opposite to the Infiniti mall on the ground floor itself next to Mainland China and are interconnected from inside. So, the washroom 🚽 is only available in Mainland China so you have to enter Mainland China in order to go to the washroom . The ambience of restaurant was very soothing, you will find various painting 🖌️ hanging on the wall and the restraunt colour and furniture is white 🤍 and brown 🤎 in colour. Good old aesthetic effect to the restaurant. It's a proper dining place, you will hear a soothing background music 🎶 going on, just a tuning. The staff 🤵 here are really helpful and well aware of the menu and the dishes. I really like that thing. So as I was trying Bengali menu for the first time I needed some help for which the staff recommended and guided me properly. All the dishes which we tried most of it are recommended by the staff and I regretted ordering none of it. All the dishes were really good. So we visited around 8-8:30PM at that time ⌚ it was empty which made me doubt the place but as the time goes by people 👪 started coming and it was the wonderful experience. On the table they will keep the plates 🍽️ already which has a design of Calcutta Howrah Bridge 🌉 further to serve the food they change the plate as it does not get damage and mix with your 🔥 hot food 🥣. As soon as we ordered food, side dishes were brought to our table which included cucumber raita, Alu kabuli (kind of like potato and chickpea salad with some Indian masalas) and mustard kasundi (thick yellowish brown sauce with sharp taste made up of ground seeds of mustard plant). Side dishes were accompanying well with the starter and the main course that we ordered. The following are dishes which we experienced here : STARTERS 1. Murshidabadi murgi 🍗 : This is basically grilled chicken in Murshidabadi style. They are basically boneless chicken covered in Indian green paste and spices. Was basically served as skewers. Overall it was tasting good but I would give a brownie point if some sort of chutney would have been served with it. They will serve you onion 🧅 and lemon 🍋 if you ask them for it. 2. Bhetki Maccher Paturi 🐠: So bhetki is basically a river water which is sweet in taste 🐟. So basically they are steamed mustard fish parcels. The fish is covered with mustard and green chilli pasted and packed on banana leaf 🍃 and cooked by way of steam. They are boneless Bhetki fillets which makes it very easy to enjoy. The best dish that I had here. Must try. REFRESHMENTS 3. Gondhoraj Shorbot: it’s a refreshing fragrant beverage made with ‘King of Lime’ 👑I.e Gondhoraj (big lemon grown in Kolkata which is popular for its frangrance and taste). Shorbot is basically like a sweet lime soda but you can definitely smell the different aroma from the drink. 🍋🥤 4. Watermelon and Basil crush: it’s fresh basil 🌿 burst with juicy watermelon chunks 🍉infused with aerated drink 🍹 . It was very refreshing. ☺️Amongst both the mocktails, I loved watermelon mocktail. It’s worth trying. MAIN COURSE 4. Kancha lonka murgi 🍗 : So it's a Bengali style chicken with a dry green gravy made up of fresh coriander and chillies. If you have never tried green 💚 chicken then this is worth trying. I'll not recommend having rice with this gravy. Even the staff suggested not to order rice with it as the gravy is thick but still I wanted to try it with rice (so the staff offered us half portion of rice without charge, it was such a good gesture we loved it 🥰) 5. Luchi : So luchi is basically a puffed up puri made of maida (refined wheat flour). Very thin and soft in texture. It is similar to bhature but made without using dahi. You can try it with any gravy. DESERT 6. Nolen gurer ice cream 🍨 : So this was also recommend by the staff and they said you cannot find this anyw

Oh! Calcutta is a great feast if you like eating fish. Here’s our takedowns from our experience:- Ilish Bhaja The pieces of Hilsa fish are fried. Quite crispy. It’s a Bengali tradition to have rice with the oil remaining after frying the Ilish fish. Ilisher Fish Finger Crumb fried hilsa strips served with mustard flavoured mayonnaise. Absolutely mouth watering. Smoked Hilsa (boneless) The Queen of Fish is smoked with a secret sauce. The bones are melted in such a way that people can enjoy the fish without worrying about the bone. An adaptation from the British Raj served with fries and vegetable as their menu suggests. Posto Narkol Ilish Boneless Hilsa fish curry cooked in poppy seeds and coconut. It was steamed. Lal Lonkar Ilish Hilsa fish cooked in a spicy tangy gravy. Cooked with red chillies, it is really spicy as suggested. Personally, was too hot to handle. We were served the Bengali special Rasgulla and Jaggery Ice Cream as well at the end to mark the end of a fantastic meal. Overall, I’d say it’s a treat if you have a craving for fish. The ambience is good and the staff is helpful with the menu.

The best place for authentic bengali food. I am never disappointed here, neither in Kolkata nor in the Mumbai outlet. This black pepper and prawn pulao is my absolute favorite with the side of dhone pata- kancha lonka (coriander and green chillies)chicken curry.

Went for the poila boishakh buffet in Oshiwara branch. Had to wait for a long time for tables to be available, but the wait was worth it. Despite the maddening rush, the manager handled everyone with all his might. Food was great. I ate a lot of fish fries. It was a memorable night. My only request: please add nolen gurer cheese cake to the general ala carte menu, like you have in Kolkata. Really miss it.

Oh Calcutta probably serves the best Bengali cuisine in the world. They have a very selective menu in which you can really taste the delicacy of Bengal. We had Railway Mutton curry, Yellow dal and lucchi (Bengali Puri) Each gravy and every dish has its own unique taste to it. Their staff is friendly. I would highly recommend this. Try it atleast once.
