Loved Stax...the ambience...the decor...the vibe Simply Amazing.Am so glad we chose Stax to spend our Valentine's Evening. It was just perfect..the live music was mesmerizing ..the food fabulous. I can't stop at fabulous...the food was extraordinary...we relished every bite...and good portion size.Pankaj was so efficient. Enjoyed my special evening . Looking forward to many more such evenings.

STAX Overall Ambiance: 5 Food: 4 Drinks: 4 Service: 3.5 Stax at Hyatt Regency has an amazing oozing ambiance. The entrance is royal, the lighting designs are to the perfection. With a huge space to accommodate 50-70 people. They also have STAX bar differently above the STAX restaurant. This place is famous for its Italian cuisine. The concept is inspired from Lombard cuisine. This restaurant offers you a never experienced Italian sort flavors. Surrounded by other famous restaurants STAX stands out to be the best. Service is bit disappointing, short of staff & also had to wait very long for food even though the guests were less. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Recommendations: • MINESTORNE DI VERDURE • SPAGHETTONI ALLA BUSARA • PANNA COTTA CON FRAGOLE MARINATE • GUAVA MARY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This place has some authentic Italian food specially curated by CHEF RAJIV DAS. The food here is pure, healthy and tasty. > ANTIPASTI (Appetizers) 1) BURRATA, OLIVE, CARCIOFI Food Epicurean rating: 4 This dish was something new for me, the main ingredient was Burrata cheese, Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. It aslo had roasted artichoke, Cailletier(type of olive) & cherry tomatoes to garnish the same. The Burrata cheese was something new for me. They also had a spicy sauce on the dish. 2) PERE, CAPRINO, NOCI Food Epicurean rating: 3.5 The main stuff of this dish was the Goat cheese, it also had poached pear dipped in red wine & walnut pesto. Goat cheese is generally salty but i felt the combination of walnut pesto and goat cheese was not a good idea, it was sour in taste. The poached pear tasted good. > ZUPPE (Soup) 1) MINESTORNE DI VERDURE Food Epicurean rating: 4.5 A true Italian soup this was. Minestrone is a soup of Italian origin made with various vegetables also in addition it had pasta. They had onions, carrots, & tomatoes. One of the best every tried soup. Spicy and perfect combination with vegetables. > PASTA FRESCA 1) SPAGHETTONI ALLA BUSARA Food Epicurean rating: 4.5 This is actually a Non veg dish which was prepared Veg on our request to the chef. They have their own self-made spaghetti pastas. The spaghetti was perfectly blended with delicious sauces and also had few vegetables. > RISOTTI 1) RISOTTO AGLI ASPARAGI E BURRATA Food Epicurean rating: 3.5 This was the simple risotto, with asparagus & burrata. The rice were not properly cooked. It had a very mid way taste, neither spicy nor plain. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > DRINKS 1) WHISKY ON THE STARS Food Epicurean rating: 4 The only cocktail we tried, flavor was bit over powered, which took over the taste of whisky. It had a star shaped chocolate on top to garnish. This one can be improved. 2) PASSION FASHION Food Epicurean rating: 4 Had a taste of mango bite. It was served in a fancy glass. Sweet in taste. Had a dried orange slice on top to garnish. 3) GUAVA MARY Food Epicurean rating: 4.5 This one was drink of the night. The name and type is common, but the blending matters. They had perfectly blended the guava and spice. Taste was amazing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > DOLCE (DESSERTS) 1) PANNA COTTA CON FRAGOLE MARINATE Food Epicurean rating: 5 One of the best variety of Panna Cotta ever tried. Sweetened to the perfection, the thickness was also proper. This was marinated in Strawberry. 2) SELEZIONE DI SORBETTI FATTI IN CASA Food Epicurean rating: 4 Strawberry flavored sorbet, had a chocolate stick on top to garnish. Taste was good. Similar to the regular sorbet. It can be improved. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Overall, this place has a highly attractive ambiance and one can expect a relish dining experiencing the Italian food.
