M M Mithaiwala - Malad West.
This is a famous sweet and farsan mart located at Malad West.
We ordered 8 Samosa's from here on my birthday and trust me, they were so crispy and tasty.
They provided Tamarind and Green chutney and I was like...yum yum! ✌️
Definitely ordering from here soon 😁

It's right outside Malad station which is quite convenient. I love the Dahi Kachoris at MM Mithaiwala. It's something I'll have immediately after the lockdown. Great taste. Economical also ☺️
This place is one of the landmarks in borivali. The place is always crowded and always in demand for many things. The place has many varieties in sweets like you name it and you will find the type of sweet you need. They have amazing types in fudges and different variety of options is each and every sweet they make and in farsan also. They are known for their 10rs chaas which is very famous there for every person who travels in and out. They also have different items with interest of jain people also. So its bliss for all those finding a huge variety in snacks and sweets.

1- jalebi fafda
2- pani puri
3- dahi kachori
4- peda
5- kaju katli
6- Motichoor Ladoo

MM Mithaiwala is really very famous across Mumbai. The store has variety of snacks, soda, lassi, etc.
One should definitely try its lassi which are in two flavours (white & yellow) it is way to yummy
The place is very well known for its local Mumbai snack "the vada pav". Their chutneys are very yummy.
The place is very well cleaned n illuminated with lights.
But the staff here is always rude & arrogant to all customers. They think of themselves as the owners.
I found the rates are very high for all items.
This place located right outside Malad station in west this have vast variety of Farsan, Sweets, Snacks, Fast Food, i have tried Vada pav Vada so big in size 1 Vada pav can fulfill the tummy I have chole batura, Tawa Pulav, rava idli sambhar, samosa chat, fried rice, pav bhaji and very spl lassi food to tasty and tummy all ahe groups people and enjoy
had pani puri here taste it was delicious , here you get pattice toast sandwich sevpuri toast sandwich also great dishes like dahi puri sev puri and gila as well as shuka bhel cheese chilly toast , you will need to take token first for ordering there is a bit of crowd but not much waiting time order is served as soon as possible since they are well staffed each counter has two three dedicated employees shop has bike parking space in front, they also have facility to seat on benches outside they accept online upi payment via paytm or google pay , cold drinks and mineral water is also available at the shop itself must visit eatery for foodies in malad
Whilst the food taste is very good and at reasonable pricing and with good hygiene maintained, lack is staff management and crowd management.
There should be supervisor managing not only the crowd but the service provided by their staff.
Parking a nightmare on this stretch. Done bother to ask for parking for disabled or even easy entry to this space for the disabled.
Whilst billing sometimes get irrating , it is still managable
The place is easily accessible and it offers huge variety of fast-food and sweets at reasonable rates. The quality of food is very hygienic and healthy. Since it is very close to the Malad station, it usually remains much crowded. Easy access this place when you travel via local trains. The core speciality is Gujarati & Marwadi food and sweets.
Basic Ratings:-
* Quality: 5/5

Gupta bhel puri house is a typical family run chat shop located off Malad SV Road for over decade and a half. The most remarkable thing about them is how they have maintained continuity and consistency of taste in all their servings. They offer all chat items and a variety of Sandwiches. The most unique one is sev puri sandwich. My personal recommendation is to try the chilli milli sandwich.
Amongst the chat items their pani puri, sev puri and gila bhel are something to die for. The preparation of these 3 items is unique, they garnish it with khaman dhokla chura.
The shop starts at 5pm and closes by 9:30pm. The places gets crowded even on weekdays so plan to arrive as early as possible. The service is fast but with crowd swelling expect your order to take 15-20 mins to get ready, at times you may have to remind / follow up with the person at the counter. There's no parking space so avoid taking personal vehicle, the shop is 5 mins walk from Malad platform no.1 (west).
Very busy street no parking space only public transport will work that too upto sv road then walk in or come by local train which is the best option. Very narrow street shops lot of variety for decorative options and artificial jewellery items. Be attentive for your phone and purse. Things were economical
It’s wedding season and mithai is being shared whole heartedly and keeping that in mind, MM Mithaiwala is a great option to keep in mind when looking to shop sweets and savories.
Considering how special our mithais are to us and the fact that they’re served on all kinds of special occasions, it’s only fair to purchase the best quality and most delicious mithai for our most special moments.
MM Mithaiwala is definitely an outlet that can be entrusted with this important task.
I recently had the chance to try a vast assortment of their mithai and snacks and I was left rather impressed.
Here’s what I tried.
•Anjeer Pista Roll
Loaded with pista and set in anjeer this mithai is shaped into small cylinder like rolls that are easy to eat and simple to carry and gift. The mithai has a sticky glutinous texture, it’s nutty and well balanced. I would also think that this option is more nutritious in comparison to other fat rich mithais.
•Kaju Katli
India’s favorite and one of our most famous, kaju katli really needs no introduction. The kaju katli made by MM is coarsely ground which gives it good texture and makes you feel the nuttiness of the dessert as opposed to other mithai shops where they grind it so fine and adulterate it to the extent that the kaju is lost. You can feel the kaju and taste it too in this dish.
•Cake Barfi (Milk Cake like mithai cut into convenient barfi size)
I absolutely loved the milk cake I had from MM. It was grainy in texture, yet soft and absolutely melted in my mouth. Although the dessert was sweet, it was not over sweet and that is something that really matters to me. A point to clarify here that this dessert is not kalakand, it’s the brown colored, grainy version of milk cake.
•Motichoor Laddu
The motis in the laddu made by MM are slightly larger than the kind I like. I like my motichoor laddus with extremely fine beads and a moist, soft texture. The laddus made by MM have a soft texture and are topped with beautiful silver foil. I personally would like smaller beads and more moistness, but that’s just me. Overall, still a good dish.
•Gulab Jamun
Hands down, my favorite Indian dessert. High on calories but higher on happiness, am I right? Beautiful, soft gulab jamuns, decadent and soaked in the perfect chashni. This ones a winner. Definitely worth getting your hands on.
•Gajar Ka Halwa
Warm, rich, nutty, decadent, homely and hearty all at once, this one just strikes all the right chords. If there’s one dessert that spells “maa ke haath ka pyaar” it’s definitely this one and the one made by MM will definitely make the nostalgia kick in.
•Bhakarwadi
Ending my review on a savory note! Unusual I know. However bhakarwadi is one of my all time favourite Indian snacks and makes for the perfect way to end this perfect experience. The bhakarwadi pack from MM costs 80 rupees and has perfectly crisp, medium sized bhakarwadis that are perfectly seasoned and spiced. Not too spicy, not over sweet, just perfect.
I absolutely loved everything about my first experience with MM Mithaiwala. A big shoutout to the beautiful packaging and the lovely bows. All the mithai also was beautifully garnished with generous silver foil and the whole box left me feeling happy and festive.
One of the best mithai shop in Mumbai.... serving a variety of sweets since many years....and the tag of "Best mithai shop in Mumbai" justifies it.... No matter... whether you are a sweet tooth or not you will love their mithai.... My personal favorites are- Malai Ghevars.. It is Yumm....i recommend it to every mithai lovers...
