Harbour bay’s menu mainly constitutes of coastal sea food.
I was here for a dinner and I was amazed by their service. All the staffs are so heart warming and welcoming.

Coming to ambience, the place is not spread out but have ample seating with minimalist decor.

If you are a wine fan, do try their mulled wine( it’s a best drink to have during winters)
We started with their chicken corn soup which was a good start.
Vegetarians cannot miss out on their Awadhi tawa mushroom galouti which was delicious and melts in your mouth as you take a bite and Ceylon stew with coconut rice which was her pleasing.
Sea food lovers should definitely try their dynamite prawns, chicken stuffed prawns for the starters.
For mains we had their special pomfret fry with naans and the fish was very well cooked and very palatable.

For desserts we tried their chocolate lava cake and caramel pannacotta and both were just the best thing to happen and end our meal with.

Definitely a must visit for all the sea food lovers. Enjoy your food with some live music every Thursday night here.

Posh alert!

To say this place is posh is an understatement, i tried their scootsy combo meal of Sikkim signature soup and prawns marinated in green chili.

The soup was okay but the prawns were amazingly spicy!! They exploded in my mouth like stinging venom!! Definitely get this!!

Packaging: oh wow, they sent me a cloth towel (see pic) with the order, i mean just wow
Pricing: expensive and even for a combo

this entire lane has been getting quite some attention lately with new eateries launching more rapidly now, Since I have been to almost of the eateries in this lane I was excited to visit Harbour bay which is the latest addition in this vicinity.

I ended up visiting on a friday night and to my surprise it was a karoake night there. the ambiance was perfectly lit with singers and guests singing their vocal chords out. we started with a red wine from York winery which I tried for first time and was impressed with. along with the wine I had chicken deviled eggs which were half portion of a boiled egg battered fried to crisp and topped with boneless butter chicken kinda chunks. every bite was full of taste and protein. next we tried batter fried bombay duck which was also very impressive. best were the mains here from which we tried a veg methi dish for my vegeterian friend and chicken handi which was much different than the regular chicken handi we get.it went perfectly with butter naan. also we relished the prawns rice which wasnt brown onion fried rice topped with barbequed prawns.

The Harbour Bay This place is located Bandra Reclamation just to opposite lane of Lilavati Hospital. Been here for the first time on a weekday night. Let me tell you this place is now talk of the town. One-month old baby and this place has done wonders to their food. As the name suggests this place is famous for their coastal delicacies along with other delicacies. The ambience was very lovely and soothing. Music compliments the atmosphere amazingly well. The place has romantic feel and the yellowish light adds to this fact. The small bar in the corner looks lit and nice. The courteous and amicable staff made it easy to select things from the menu. The menu exclusively designed by Chef Sid and he was personally there all the time to suggest his recommendations and understand the guest what will suit his palate. I personally love this gesture. They serve mix of Indian and Continental food along with the nice cocktails. Almentro: A delicious mixture of cognac, homemade almond syrup & lime juice. Lemon Buck: Vermouth, lime juice and ginger ale. I was quite impressed by the smoothness of the drink. Virtuoso: This is winning cocktail of North American Whiskey Challenge India 2018. Whiskey based concoction is mixed with Martini Rosso, homemade crème de cacao and bitters is given herbaceous twist and has a smoky flavor. Thupka: Thupka is Tibetan Noodle Soup. This dish is now popular in Himalayas and Northeastern states. It was fragrant and very satisfying. I have tried with chicken. Must try. Dynamite Prawns: The prawns remain really crispy from outside while the retaining the juiciness inside. Prawns were tossed in wasabi sauce and served in a martini glass. Presentation superb, loved the hit of wasabi. The size of the prawns is big and perfectly cooked. Signature dish of Chef Sid. Panko Crusted Bombay Duck: Panko is variety of flaky bread crumb used in Japanese cuisine. So, here Bombay duck coated in panko crumbs and deep fried. Served with koliwada dip. Tasted well. Chicken Wrapped Prawns: Another star dish of the dish. Served with Thecha dip. The fiery prawns embraced with perfect amount of chicken chunks and was cooked to perfection. Crisp outside retain the flavor of both chicken and prawns. Amazing!!! Kadhai Ni Maach: Woahhhh!! Served in mains. The presentation was superb. Served with Garlic Naan. This is recipe from owner’s grandmother. Whole pomfret cooked in a kadhai with onions, curry leaves and coated with green chutney. The gravy of the onion was quite thick and perfectly delicious and goes very well with Garlic Naan. Still, Bhakri would be the best option I have suggested them. Prawn Pulao with Kokani Salan: Subtle, simple pulao dish. Used Hyderabadi Potli Masala in this. Tasted delicious. Can’t describe the taste in words of this dish. Death by Chocolate: Sinful indulgence of chocolate and perfect ending of my meal. Overall, a must visit place and take a bow you all, what a fab job. Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 P.S: This review is strictly depending on my personal experience.

One of the most comprehensive seafood menus in the city for sure. Neha Karmarkar-Joshi and I went there today for a day date away from our baby boy. First time he stayed by himself for a couple of hours with his grandparents and we sneaked away for a quick lunch. And boy! What a meal this was. Everything was fantastic. From the mango drink we started our meal with to the 2 stunning appetizers to the main course and even the cake we had for dessert. Keep this place in mind for your special occasions. Especially if you love sea food. You will not regret it. Everything they make is ridiculously fresh and the food is definitely the hero here.👌🏼 The music could be better but they're a new place and figuring what works. I say this because to have a meal as good as the one we had even better, the ambience and music plays a decent role. Sure...the food is still the most important element of the meal and they've for that part sorted out...and their place looks gorgeous...but once they figure out the music that goes with their meal...it will just be even better than it is! 😊✌🏼

The Bengali and the seafood lover in me was excited like a kid when I was planning a visit to The Harbour Bay. Their menu excited me, and I couldn't wait to find out if this place can be added to my list of good seafood restaurants in Mumbai. I decided to meet another seafood loving friend for dinner at this place. We were warmly greeted by Arif, who also kind of curated the dishes for our dinner. We were served with Dynamite Prawns, Butter Chicken Devilled Eggs and Almond and Cream Cheese Broccoli as appetisers. The three dishes were unique and tasty in their own ways. The prawns were cooked perfectly; not overcooked that tends to make it rubbery or hard. As for the devilled eggs (with only boiled egg whites and no yolk), its combination with butter chicken put a nice twist to the classic recipe. And as for the vegetarian entrée, I have to say that the combination of broccoli, almonds and cream cheese just works beautifully! We ordered a couple of cocktails to go along with our food. The selection of cocktails in The Harbour Bay is quite impressive. We went with the award-winning recipe of Virtuoso and the gin-based, Colours of Butterfly. Butterfly Pea Flower is my current obsession and that's why I went with the latter. It is a beautiful mix of pretty colours and floral flavours. Virtuoso, on the other hand, is a strong whiskey punch that we all need from time to time :) For our Mains, we first went with a vegetarian dish, Ceylon Stew with Coconut Rice. The stew was like a bowl full of warmth and a hug, and the rice was good enough to be eaten on its own, without any accompaniments. A great option for any vegetarian visiting The Harbour Bay. Next, we were served Singaporean Sweet Chilli Crab with Egg Rice. The crab was freshly sourced and cooked. The sweet chilli sauce it was cooked it was delicious, and it went so well with the egg rice. Even this rice was good enough to be eaten on its own. We couldn't resist trying one chicken based dish too. So we also had their Chicken Tikka Masala with Tandoori flatbreads. Although this place a specialises in seafood, I was surprised at how good the chicken tikka was made. Tender chicken pieces with beautiful smoky flavour, in thick gravy...yum! We finished off our dinner with another round of cocktails - Nara Cartel and Smoked Fashion. Both the drinks were great, but I am a little biased towards Smoked Fashion. It had theatrics of being smoked (with a cigar) and had a strong taste, which I enjoy in cocktails. Overall, The Harbour Bay has been a great find for me in recent times. I can see myself going there again to try some of their other dishes.

I have simply one word for this restaurant SPLENDID! The dining experience here was just something different and intriguing. From the time I entered the restaurant, it just seemed really well structured. The staff is very attentive, definitely doesn't give you a chance to complain and also suggests you dishes and drinks which speaks words about the innovations they have made into simple homely dishes. Since they specialize in sea food dishes, you can see the use of ingredients mainly found in sea food dishes everywhere, even in drinks and that is something which left me spellbound. They have paid sincere attention to even the smallest of things, like the coasters, they have this caricature of various fishes. And if you are up for some chit chat they even tell you the significance of the names of the dishes fishes. Even though they specialize in sea food, they also have a wise menu for vegetarians to choose from. And it so appears that the vegetarian menu is liked as much as the non vegetarian one. We first started off with few drinks, namely, Nara Cartel This is a tequila based drink, which a strong flavor of orange and a slight flavor of ginger to it. It can actually act as a refreshing drink if we subtract the alcohol. Mango Fusion This is a mocktail which you must definitely try. Highly recommended!! Certainly hats off to the bartender, for coming up with such a innovative drink. It's basically mango with curry leaves and passion fruit. It's an eclectic combination. Old fashioned I don't usually prefer whiskey based cocktails, but since the staff insisted as it was their signature I went for this one. And Oh Boy! This was definitely a strong drink and won't be loved by all. But worth a try. In appetizers we went for Dynamite prawns : This is their signature dish and after having a bite of it I understood why. The prawns is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and is served in a cocktail glass. Mushroom galouti kebab : This just melts in your mouth. Extremely creamy and tastes best with mint chutney they serve. The chutney is neither too runny nor dry. You hey this rich flavor of mushroom. And this can actually be my favorite mushroom creation ever. Butter chicken devilled eggs : This is a very simple dish making use of the ever loved butter chicken. The eggs are fried and then topped with shredded butter chicken and then served with the mint chutney. The butter chicken stole my heart, neither too sweet nor too spicy. Panko crusted Bombay duck : This is again a very simple dish, with the Bombay duck fried and then served with this sweet chilly sauce. A simple dish with mild flavors. In mains we had the Lobster Thermidor, lobster cooked in rich creamy sauce served with sautéed vegetables and served with garlic bread. The sauce was extremely tasty with mushroom in it. I always felt lobster tasted better in a spicy sauce, but this one with extreme mild flavors, in a continental style exceeded all of my expectations. Finally our meal came to an end, with a Red velvet pastry. The cake was shaped as a heart and was just the right amount of sweet. The dessert was really a nice end to this meal. They are even coming up with a brunch menu for vegetarians and non vegetarians and is extremely good for your pockets and as you get a great variety of sea food and a really great price. The staff is extremely helpful and insightful, and for them customer happiness comes first I highly recommend this place!

If you are looking to have the best in the town this is one place that ought to be on your list. One of the finest fine dining places, serving excellent sea food and special Parsi delicacies. We had: DRINKS: 1. Mango fusion- a mocktail, if you are a mango lover you should try this, very refreshing 2. Karuveppilai- this kokum cocktail is unique, it's gin based, something different but a must-try SOUPS: 1. Thukpa 2. Lemongrass scented tom.kha goong- this is their speciality Both the soups give a good start to your meal A good build-up and something which makes you look forward to your meal ahead APPETIZERS: 1. Almond grit cream cheese broccoli- what a unique dish, I do like broccoli but with this dish I am in love with it 2. Fish kebab- again something that surprised us, how could fish be made just like how we have the other kebabs 3. Green chilli prawns- this is extremely spicy but we enjoyed it MAINS: 1. Ceylon stew with coconut rice- rich, creamy coconut based stew, and the texture of rice was amazing 2. Kadhai Ni Maach- our favourite pick from the evening, a Parsi delicacy and you definitely need to have this one DESSERT DRINK: Pink wink- a candy floss bubble gum flavoured vodka based drink We loved how well the menu has been curated, they offer some exquisite sea food dishes and even trying to keep alive the Parsi culture with some old, traditional Parsi dishes. The variety and uniqueness of the drinks specially pink wink is all thanks to Mr. Ernest doing a good job. This place is definitely a must-visit and you'll fall in love with it. PS: It is the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar's favourite place too.😍

Tonight we were dining at this brilliant newly opened restaurant at Bandra Reclamation that specialises in seafood. This is a small eatery in the bylanes of Bandra reclamation with around 7-8 tables but the ambiance is extremely classy. There is a little bar located in a corner and I love how they have managed the space that is available. Seating is cozy but yet really good. They’ve got lots of valet parking available. Chef Siddharth is always around to speak to the customers and understand their needs. I love the fact that he believes in clean, simple flavours which really resonates in the food that is served in the restaurant. The place has the concept of fresh from the sea and they really serve the freshest catch of the day which has a huge impact on the taste. They serve both Indian and Western cuisine and the hero of their food is Seafood. They’ve kept the concept simple - serve fresh food and keep the flavours simple. works like a charm. Here’s what we ate: 1. Green Chilli Prawns - the green chilli prawns were a simple, green chutney flavour loaded with spice. The green chilli pranced around on your taste buds long after the dish was over and it was sort of beautiful. Really simplistic flavours. 2. Thai Chilli and Butter Garlic Crab - the crab was really fresh, one was given an option of sizes to choose from. We chose the small sized one. The butter garlic sauce was the best that we have had to date. The sauce was buttery but not the kind that would feel sticky at the back of your tongue. You could literally drink the sauce on its own. Just perfect. 3. Thupka Soup - the broth has a strong, earthy flavour and is loaded with coated chicken, lots of eggs, veggies and noodles. Just loved it. 4. Patra Ni Macchi - the pomfret was really fresh, the green chutney coating was sweet, sour, tangy and spicy. Such a clean flavour that was contrasted with the tautness of the fish. 5. Prawns Biryani - the biryani had huge prawns, the flavour was a medley of beautiful, strong flavours. The biryani was served with a salad and was really good. Loved it. I think this is one of the BEST places in the recent times that I have come across and one of the nicest seafood places that we have eaten at. This place is a must must recommendation for everyone. Anyone who loves seafood has has has to visit this place or they’re really missing out on a good thing in their lives.

The Harbour Bay is actually heaven on earth for seafood lovers. We were an hour late for our reservation but the staff was highly courteous to host us. ▪️This place serves live crab where they serve fresh and huge crabs. ▪️Karuvepillai We started our lunch with a authentic and refreshing Karuvepillai(Must try). An amazing blend of desi kokam and your favorite gin topped with curry leaves to give this cocktail an organically strong flavor. ▪️Dynamite prawns Coming to the appetizers we started with the Chef Sid's signature dynamite prawns served in a martini glass with beautiful garnishing. The prawns were cooked with wasabi to give you a hit at the end of your prawn. It was coasted with a sweet sauce to compensate and is a must try as appetizers. ▪️Chicken wrapped prawns Chicken wrapped prawns is another lip-smacking appetizer again with prawns. Your favorite prawns are coated with thin chicken slices and deep fried. This gives you feeling of both chicken and freshly made prawns. ▪️Ceylon stew with Coconut rice Coming to the main course we were suggested Sri Lankan preparation of stew with coconut rice named Ceylon stew with coconut rice. The stew was super delicious with some prawns pieces. I held myself asking for more of that delicious stew which had some authentic flavors of coconut milk. ▪️Mach - write full name Finally we tried a secret dish which is a heritage recipe by owners family who belong to Ratnagiri. A full length pomfret was cooked with some drooling spices which were not shared by the chef as the ingredients were heritage. But the coating was on sweeter side which is not pure Konkani preparation but tasted amazing. Well the bartender at THB allowed was another great interactions I had. ▪️Pink Wink Ernest(the bartender) allowed us to try his childhood favorite mixture of tequila which is Pink Wink. Boomer flavored cotton candy had tequila poured in it and turned into an amazing cocktail. Obviously the fragrance of boomer was the best part. If you are looking out for a premium seafood restaurant this a perfect pick for you.
