Being the shopper that i am, one of my favourite Sunday places is phoenix marketcity, kurla.. ofcourse most of the times that i have gone there i have ended up having dinner at food and taste theory, Kurla..
I remember the first time I had been there.. i was just strolling around to find some restaurant i have not tried around the food court area and this very nice and bright, colourful walled place caught my eye.. i went to the restaurant, checked out the menu outside and was fully convinced that i wanted to try this place.. so i asked for a table for two only to find out that there was a waiting of 8 tables before me!
I was still very convinced that i wanted to eat at this restaurant so got my name noted and waited outside patiently for my turn to come.. the only part of the wait that i did not like was that i got into a slight argument with the person taking reservations.. when he was calling out people's names who had made reservations the people were not present to enter the restaurant and at a later stage whenever the people came they were sent in first as compared to those who waited outside patiently for their turn..
Either ways, we had already placed our order while we were waiting outside and within 5 minutes of getting a table our order was ready! Every table had a bowl of nibbles (cheese balls or peppy) which brought out the kid inside me..
What we ordered:
1) Mumbai fondue (pav bhaji fondue) - The fondue comprised of pav bhaji that was spicy and buttery accompanied with crunchy papad stuffed with spiced onion and tomato, soft tiny cute idlis, cheese balls with oozing cheese and the classic buttered breads.. one of my favourites of this place!
2) indian pizza - a nice crisp crusted paneer pizza with an indian tadka of spices.. i somehow found it a bit too spicy for me..
3) kala khatta mojito - i have always been a kala khatta fan..the first time i visited this place the mojito was out of the world but to be honest the next time I visited it did not meet the same expectation..
The best part is that since this restaurant was on Zomato gold, i could eat both the above maincourse dishes in Rs 540 which was totally worth with the portions being more than sufficient for 2 people!
Pav bhaji fondue - 10/10
Indian pizza - 9/10
Kala khatta mohito - 9/10

Tried the vegetable pizza here. It tasted really good. Also you can try the side orders like fries and nuggets

Wonderful ambiance , and I liked everything about this place
This place was earlier located in Ghatkopar and I was a fan of this place from then. Speaking about the truth not a vegetarian person but if I have to hog something veg then this is the place.
Ambience: Beautiful n Calm place if you are done with shopping in Phoenix you can relax here and eat.
Food : Healthy juices which is really yum and combination is very interesting too. My personal is fav 🍕 n 🍝 .
Not expensive place and the food is truly good and hygienic.
Forgot to mention : They serve cheese balls as complimentary, their water glasses are really unique and the best part in the end of the meal they give Pan chocolates as mouth freshner 😀
Perfect place to unwind and satisfy your cravings after a hectic shopping experience. Located in Phoenix Market City Kurla , this place serves yummy heart warming food. The water glasses here deserve special mention.They even arranged a special Disney Plate for my kiddo to enjoi her meal. The Cheese Fondue platter especially was a feast for both the eyes and stomach. Correctly said, " You cant just eat good food , you have got to talk about it too !! "

the food quality is amazing. Staff over there are very generous. The varieties available are amazing. fondues are specially recommendable cheese fondue and pav bhaji fondue were amazing. One must try chocolate fondue the price is also not expensive. The ambience is sweet and pleasurable. Everyone would enjoy a visit there. The shakes are very tasty.
I will recommend this place to someone looking forward to hangout with their friends after a long gap . Its almost perfect for groups of 4-5 people and also ideal for lunch/dinner dates. The ambience is very good and the elements are unique ( The glasses for drinking water & the dummy iron used for giving the bill ). The food is absolutely fantastic ,they dont have a huge item list but the items served are very tasty and garinished well. The flavours stand out in every bite you take. Overall experience is really good. The staff around are also very polite. The place wont disappoint you.

This place is awesome. Waiters are really polite. There was waiting when we went(6 of us were there). There served complimentary juice while we were waiting. And informed us multiple times about the wait time. The ambience and the decorations were awesome! Service was too good too. And food was simple awesome!! Presentation definitely needs special mention. Ordered 5 dishes and 2 desserts and can't rank them, all of them were so damn good! Although it's a vegetarian restaurant, every non vegetarian should also visit this place atleast once, and if you like cheese and continental food, this is one of the best places for you in Mumbai!! :)

Truly unique with many varied elements spread across the place like a suitcase table on the corner, a bird cage seating (where I sat), water glasses which can wobble without spilling and a ironing-box style bill holder.

Most of the food was delicious.
* Paneer Pizza - Great flavor, nice crust. Wish the paneer was chopped smaller and distributed though.
* Tried two Sizzling plates - Tasted good. Plenty of veggies: carrots potatoes, broccoli to go with the rice. The accompanying gravy went quite well with the mix.
* Penne Alfredo Pasta: This was a dissapointment. The pasta was very bland.

Impeccable service. Very attentive. They were courteous enough to keep few of the dishes in storage and often offered to reheat other dishes.
I loved the experience here. The food can be a tad bit improved. I would rate it 4.5 if it was an option. A place option to check out if you're a vegetarian.
Food - food is fantastic. Great thing is taste and hot food . Quality is good . You can try hear cheese and corn pannine and sizzler . Pizza was quite ok .
Service - very good part. Fast and they suggested dishes in good manner .
Ambiance - one of the good part is child friendly which not every restaurant . I always write ambiance but this time I am writing very different manner.
Bad part - they serve all food includes Maine course in quarter plate . Which is very bad I thing . Already for Maine course give batter plates .
Amidst the busy and crowded Phoenix Marketcity Mall, this place is tucked in a peaceful corner. The ambience and decor of the place is very eye catching. Also the cutlery itself is so creative here. Talking about the food, this place offers a variety of vegetarian options ranging from Fondue pots to Kulche chole, Sizzlers and what not!
Must recommend dishes in the order of 3 courses are :
1. Minestrone soup
2. Mumbai Fondue pot (Pav Bhaji Fondue)
3. Twin Sauces Fondue (Any 2 sauce dips can be selected)
4. Oriental Sizzler with Rice/Noodles and Black Pepper sauce
5. Chocolate Pani Puri
6. Sizzling Brownie with ice cream
Food was very delicious and pocket friendly specially the Pav bhaji fondue and Sizzling brownie. Service was top-notch as well. Icing on the cake was the zomato gold offer!
Would love to visit again to try other dishes!

Hopped in for lunch and the ambience, tables, cutlery and welcome snack is all amazingly cute. They serve cheese balls, peppy etc as a welcome snack. Some of their tables are like colourful suitcases, and come are like a huge thali inside a bird cage. The glasses are also very unique like a tipsy-turny glass whose probably drunk on water.
We ordered the We baked the deviled potatoes and instantly fell in love with the dish. It's so cheesy and yummy, full of flavour, and extremely heavy. We were 2 of us and got almost full on it. It also had 3 Pringle chips on it as decor. Loved the dish it's a must try if you are a cheese and potato lover like me.
We also ordered the brocolli risotto which was not that great. It could have been more creamy and cheesy. The consistency was also not exactly that of a risotto.
Presentation of both the dishes were great. The bill too came in an iron shaped box which had 2 small chocolates in it. The chocolates had a few sesame seeds on it and was not appealing to the eye so we left it. May be the chocolates could be changed.
All in all we had a really good experience.
A great place to enjoy coffee, non alcoholic beverages, fusion food like pav bhaji fondue, chocolate pani poori, tasty juices, non alcoholic beer. They also have good selections of green teas and a separate breakfast menu. The interiors are well done and seating is comfortable. The prices are easy on the pocket too
Beautiful ambiance!! Lovely veg food! I normally don't relish veg that well....but I should say...the food was very high I'm quality and also nicely presented! Lil on a pricey side, but I think it's worth it!!☺️
