The cafe offers both A/C and non-A/C sections, ensuring comfort for all patrons. During our visit, we indulged in the main course, enjoying butter naan, veg kofta, and veg kadai. The flavors were on point, making the meal delightful. We capped off our dining experience with veg biryani, which also earned a thumbs up.
However, it's worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge. Despite this, New Modern Cafe remains a reliable choice for those seeking a delicious vegetarian meal in a welcoming ambiance.
Modern Cafe is most trusted and reviewed restaurant in Dombivli for many good reasons. Consistent and good food, authentic South Indian/Udupi food and good Punjabi, Chinese dishes as well. You will find portion sizes that are good for 2 with reasonable pricing.
What I would definitely not recommend is ordering a relatively less know non-indian dish. We visited a couple of days back and orders so called soup of the day signature dish of French Onion. What we got in return was a green peas and bean soup with raw onions. When pointed out that it's not the same what we usually get in west they initially tried to give justification but agreed it's not the same.
I would request Modern Cafe to stick to their basics and do that they are good instead of copying west and inventing wired dishes, using customers as bait.

Best Vegetarian hotel in Dombivili. Hotel staff are as professional as you can expect in a suburb. Overall ambience is also good. I have been going with my family for years. I am an ardent non vegetarian. This hotel only serves vegetarian food and I am a big fan of their food. So that should tell you something!!!

Serving pure Veg food they take care of delivering the best taste in every dish.
Best recommended is the breakfast and Indian Main course which is preferred by everyone.

Food was very tasty! The sandwiches are really good and the fillings are quite creative. Also arranged very well on thr plate. Service was fast and friendly. Interior and atmopshere is nice. The only thing we didn't like that much was the fact that the AC was at an extremely cold setting and we were seated right in front of it, meaning we were shivering after 30 min. I don't know why, since it wasn't even that warm outside and also already evening. But it was good, we would come back (with warm jackets if sitting in AC section :D)
