This outlet is the best one for any seafoods lovers... You can go for any varity of seafoods you want to and they are super fresh and tasty... Lobsters were really worth having..its been so long visiting this place still i crave for the food here..i can give it 5/5 in terms of sea foods
In these times of social distancing and isolation, how do you satiate your craving for some delicious seafood that you have been hankering for, for days? Since it was next to impossible to dine at my favourite restaurant, the next best option was to order online and have them deliver home. No fuss. No drama. The delivery was on time. Each item well packed. And best of all, the food tasted just as delicious - exactly what I expected each time I had previously dined at the restaurant. Thank you so much Ferry Wharf.
Hi , we were really missing eating out at our fav sea food joint , the quarantine didn’t really help , so we did the next best thing we ordered . A whole lot of food .. sea food . It was well packed, and food tasted just like it did at the restaurant . Thank you ferry wharf . We had a good lunch .
Ferry Wharf has been a saviour in these covid times delivering the same superior quality food consistently!!
The most fascinating thing is they started delivering till Vile Parle(where i stay) ever since the lockdown has begun! Totally helps a foodie like me curtail the sea food craving! 😅
Do try ordering the ghee roasts!! The mutton is amazingly tasty too!
Needless to say, the hygiene is taken care off as well. The food is perfectly sealed and packed. Additionally, Every order has a list of names of the staff and their temperature details.
I am ordered parcel from ferry wharf surmai curry , surmai fry , pomfret tandoori , bombil fry and Rawas Tandoori its very fresh and tasty . on louckdown period we getting fresh seafood . i love it. Thanks For ferry wharf team
Ordered bombil fry which came with some yummy mustard chutney, butter garlic prawns and surmai fry for starters. For main course I ordered prawns thali and loved it.
One of the best seafood outlets in town , what we are looking for - Delicious Food, Peaceful Ambience, Soft Music and especially when comes to Sea Good , Restaurants have to be clean.
Then Guesses FERRY WHARF located at Bandra wesy has it all.
Serving some really delicious food the service is prompt and the staff is polite and respectful, a wide options in the menu they even have seafood thali, having said so they make the best ghee roast masala may it be crab or prawns the taste is just heavenly.
Branch- They also have a Branch at MALAD WEST.
Food - Food is good, especially loved the way of showing Dummy before ordering on how the food looks of CRAB and Different types of Fishes. Then came Tandoori Tiger CRABS and they were awesome too. By this time we were already quite full. Bombil fry would be my next favorite, fresh fish and crispy, a CAN TRY dish.
Service- The waiters were pro active.. made sure you were served every minute and the plates taken away asap that you were finished even thought we were the only people there.
All in all a recommended place for sea food.

The best place for sea food. Love this place. Amazing ambiance and staff. Pomfret and prawns is a must try dish...!!!!!
Ferry wharf, a nice cosy place located in the by lanes of Bandra(W). situated amidst some really good restaurants like Candies(Reclamation), Door No 1 and Toffee Coffee Roasters, a easy find using google maps. Coming to the place, it has indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Place is big enough, can easily accommodate a large family of 7-8 ppl as well. Decor reflects the cuisine of the restaurant, really attractive designs and very catchy!!! The staff is co-operative and kind, were always helpful in food suggestions. Coming to the food, huge number of options to try from. I majorly their sea food items, since that was what I was craving for ;-) From the appetizers section, my favorite would be Squid ghee roast. A MUST TRY dish, fragrance of ghee in a red semi solid gravy and round shaped squid pieces. Bombil fry would be my next favorite, fresh fish and crispy, a CAN TRY dish. Same for their Mandeli fry as well. No complaints but nothing extraordinary. Also tried their mutton green chop, prepared with green marination, not that great. In main course, thalis are really something that you should try. My favorite would be their Baby lobster thali, lobster cooked perfectly and served along with gravy, roti and rice. In terms of cost as well, prices were pretty reasonable. Overall, a 4 star place for me.
Ferry Wharf Seafood Restaurant is the ultimate destination for seafood lovers It offers a wide variety to choose from some of the maharashtrian delicacies in veg and non veg dishes. It also offers dishes in chicken and mutton. Taste and freshness is well maintained. Furthermore, the staff are prompt and courteous and make you feel like home. It is also pocket friendly. It is a great seafood joint in Bandra west area.
Ferry Wharf is a good seafood restaurant. Bombil fry is amazing here. We took bamboo biryani too.. it was amazing in taste.
These people show you the raw fish, prawns, crab, lobster which one you want to have it.
We had tandoori prompfret. But here I felt cost was high for prompfret.
This is a Bandra Reclamation, Mumbai based Branch Out of the Popular Malvani & Seafood 🌊 Gajalee Restaurant Chain of Mumbai. It however outperforms Gajalee in almost every aspect and is now one of our Most Preferred Restaurants for all types of Authentic Malvani Cuisine, Seafood 🐟 🐠 🎣, Goat Mutton 🐐 and all other Speciality Dishes as well.
Absolutely Fresh Seafood 🐟 and Meats, Superbly Prepared with their Trademark Spices, Sumptuous Quantities, combined with a Great Ambience, Comfortable Air-conditioning, Clean Washroom, Good Service, Reasonable Rates and Adequate Street Parking with a Valet in attendance too. Can't really ask for more. The only thing missing is a Bar, as they don't serve any Alcoholic Drinks here, not even Beer🍺.
They do however have an outlet in Malad which has a Full Fledged Bar and I hope that they will have this in the Bandra Outlet as well soon.
An Absolute Must Visit Restaurant for all Malvani Cuisine & Seafood Lovers and Highly Recommended too.
One of the best sea food joints I have visited in Mumbai. Everything I tried was amazing but my personal favorites are clams masala and tandoori crabs, just brilliant
If you are a sea food lover then don’t miss out on this place. The fishes are really fresh and cooked to perfection.
The tandoori whole crab was excellent
They shoe u the live catch before they prepare it
They are sometimes out of the lobster and prawns so call ahead
The place has a significant smell of fish, hence the 4 in ambience
Overall, good place if u like fresh seafood.
A fantastic experience each time we have been there....Ferry Wharf is such a gem! We have been regulars here since the last 4 years, and we swear by the seafood they cook up. A family run restaurant, mainly mother and daughter, one can sense the care they have taken to curate a lovely menu, full of flavour and taste. We highly recommend starting the meals with their signature sol kadhi, which is packed with a garlic punch, along with coconut milk and kokum...great way to get you set for the rest of the meal. We were told that they have introduced a lot of new items on the menu, mainly Maharashtrian, malwani, etc, along with their previous Mangalorean specialities, we went ahead a tried a few. The stuffed bombil was excellent. quite unlike the ones we hve tried at other places, this one is more 'cigar' like, and the stuffing is prawns and mince. To follow that up was the Prawns ambat tikhat, which probably was the best prawn curry we have tried off late. Went well with the neer dosas. The spice was well balanced with the tang of raw mango pieces along with big sized prawns. A definite must have. And out of sheer temptation we went for the Mutton nalli...which again was pure meaty bliss. The curry was not overpowering in its taste, allowing the fall-off-the-bone mutton to shine through. This was paired with bhakris. And to end this wonderful meal, we went for the caramel custard, which is made in-house, we are told. Fabulous stuff! I always say good food compliments good conversations and that's proven right if you have Mr. Prakash Rai of Ferry Wharf to start a nice conversation with you, explaining a bit about the food and flavours on offer, right to travel and adventures. Ferry Wharf is a def two thumbs up!
Hey my dear viewers, today I ventured out for lunch. Yes, lunch in this simmering summer heat. We were 4 friends, although we were supposed to be 8 of us. One was down with fever and cough and the other 3 had family commitments.
To start with, it’s a nice place. Nothing very grandeur, but a charm of its own. There’s an air conditioned dining room and there’s an exterior seating area also. Of course we were sitting in the air conditioned dining room!
The manager was suggesting food of high values, as is generally the norm. But a friend who was recently there, had the menu ready in her mind. So that was a bit easy going for us.
We ordered fried bombay ducks, which was sliced very thin, coated with rice flour and bare spices, and deep fried. It would have been good if some more lemon juice and some chilies was added in the marinade or the coating.
Reshmi Chicken Tikka was very ordinary as us served elsewhere. Little bland. That zest was missing.
Prawns in ghee roasted red chilies was SPICY AND DELICIOUS. It was more like a red chilies Chutney. I had to alternate every bite if this prawns ghee roast with the chicken coconut based gravy that we had ordered. These 2 dishes were served with neer dosa, something like rice flour chapati or thin dosa batter.
And then the prawns Pulao, which was served in a bamboo log. Yummy. That flavour! And it was served with a raita. Which was not yogurt based, but finely diced onions and tomatoes in coconut chutney. This was something really different.
Instead of any soft beverages, we ordered sol curry to go with our food. This is made of Kokam, done chilies and coconut milk. Cold. Good. In fact we added a couple of ice cubes to the cold drink to make it more chilled.
A friend who has a sweet tooth, wanted some dessert at the end of the meal. So we ordered a Matka Rabdi. Not much of a choice here. Chocolate Brownie with ice cream (sic) and caramel custard.
The portions of the food were good, not small but not too bad either. Towards the end, all 4 of us were well satiated and contented.
Do visit them. I’ve been told many celebrities visit here. It’s an affordable place. Staff is amicable. Enjoy.
Finally i got a good place in mumbai for sea food...delicious and staff was very very nice ....see you next weekend again :)
I had a fantastic dining experience at ferry wharf seafood. The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The flavors were outstanding, and the service was top-notch. A must-visit for seafood lovers!"
This review captures the essence of a positive experience at a seafood restaurant in a short and sweet
