The road to Bengali Cuisine is near now... “Bhojohori Manna, the perfect destination for Bengali delicacies at pocket friendly prices. This place serves some authentic Bengali food items and the go-to-place for all the Bengalis staying in Mumbai. Bhojohori Manna happens to my favourite place whenever I crave for some authentic Bengali dishes.

Bengali cuisines are pride of Kolkata as it shows we Bengalis love to have authentic Bengali food wherever we go. “Bhojohori Manna” is one such restaurant which serves the authentic Bengali cuisines and delicacies from Kolkata for the bongs staying in Mumbai as well 🤗 Bhojohori Manna has two outlets in Mumbai, one in Andheri and another one in Chembur. Previously I have visited their Chembur outlet so this time I had a catch-up with a friend who visited Mumbai for a week, so I visited the Andheri outlet of Bhojohori Manna with my friend for proper Bengali lunch.

📍 Location: This outlet of Bhojohori Manna is near to Om Heera Panna Mall, Oshiwara, Andheri West. It is 30-35 minute's walking distance from Andheri Railway Station, West Mumbai.

▶ Ambiance/ Service: Speaking of Ambience, this place has a perfect soothing ambience for lunch and dinner with family and friends with some good quality Bengali food. This outlet is big enough compared to Chembur outlet. This outlet has a seating capacity of 30-35 people at go. The decor of the place is nice yet simple like all other authentic Bengali resturants. The Bengali restaurants are always Nostalgia place for all the bongs. It is a nice place with Bengali music playing in the background backed up with good well informed and helpful Bengalis attendants. Service of the place was prompt and perfect.

▶ Now coming to food and drinks of course. This place has nice menu with lots of varieties in Bengali cuisine and Thalis. So, we opted for the following items from the menu during the recent visit to this place 👉

❤ Food (Starters)🍗
⚜️ Maccher Chop- A typical evening snacks for the bongs. A crumb fried fish chop.
⚜️ Dimer Devil- A perfect Bengali variation of the fried devilled eggs. Most of the Bengalis have this Dimer devil with a bowl of puffed rice during the evening hours.

❤ Main Course 😋
🔸 Moving on to the Main Course:

⚜️ Rice (Dehradun)- Normal rice that we generally have at home.
⚜️ Dab Chingri- Personally, I love to have chingri so much that whenever I visit a Bengali restaurant for lunch, I generally do not miss out on Dab Chingri. This Dab Chingri was amazing in taste (Recommended).
⚜️ Luchi- It is one my favourite thing for all the bongs. We can have anything with hot luchis anytime. This time I tried it with the Mutton Dakbangla. This was a heavenly combination for the Bengalis.
⚜️ Mutton Dakbangla-This is another must try out item from their menu! When it was combined with hot luchi then it was just too Good in taste!

❤ Desserts 😍

🔸 Lastly, the desserts complete the heavy Bengali lunch with a sweet note:

⚜️ Mishti Doi- The perfect dessert for all Bengalis to have after a heavy lunch like this.

Starting from the starters to desserts everything was perfect. All the items that we tried from the menu were delicious and tasty and they give very good quantity.

💰 Pocket pinch: - Pinch for two is ₹ 700- ₹ 800 for a great experience.

▶ Overall: - Overall, it was lovely experience for me whenever I visit this place for authentic Bengali cuisine. Recommended place to all that should try this place out whenever you are craving some good authentic Bengali food in Mumbai 😊

Went for lunch with my wife. Thank God, one table was immediately allotted inspite of Sunday today. It was my first visit. We were guided by the server to select the dish. Enjoyed bhetki fried fish, pabda fish gravy, with steam rice. Devil's egg was too good. Finished our lunch with mishtidoi. Highly recommended for sea food lovers.

This one is probably the biggest of all the BM outlets. Have ample eating space: inside as well as outside. Coming to food, we ordered a combo of mochar chop, alu dom and motorshutir kochuri. Alu dom was delicious but the kochuri was a bit oily. Then we complemented it with sweet polao and mutton dakbunglow. Mutton dakbunglow has been my fav. over the mutton kosha. Only dissapointment was that they didn't had the nolen gurer ice cream. Other wise well worth was the bengali food trip to Mecca!

I just came back after having dinner now. I am from Kolkata and have tasted food from their Kolkata outlet as well. But the outlet of Andheri is not sophisticated like Kolkata. Ambience is not that good. It looks like any small restaurant. Ive ordered Mutton Cutlet, Rice, Dal, alu bhaja, Dhoka, Katla Kaliya and Mutton Dukbunglow. I wanted to have Dab Chingri. Before going there Ive called and asked whether they have Dab chigri available or not, they said they have it but even after reaching there within 30 mints, they were unable to serve. (Its finished, that's what they said). Many dish was not available as we reached at 10pm. Food is good. I am very satisfied with the quality, quantity of the food. But the taste of Mutton Dukbunglow is different what we have in Kolkata.

One of the most popular eatouts for the bongs! The place certainly brings to you delicious Bengali food. But the flip side is, cost is quite higher than the quality and quantity of food they provide. You will get almost of the bong food you'd crave for.

Located in a corner this place boasts about their cultural influenced food. Curious me I reached here undecided with few friends to try out Bengali culinary. Oh I think we not just ate ...we over ate. Please ask for manager incase it's your first time to try Bengali food. Service is good. They have open air and AC closed door too. Do try their mustard sauce ...out of world

Nice place to enjoy Bengali dishes, but bit overpriced and if you're a Bengali and visited here from West Bengal, you won't find the food as tasty as over there. All foods in the menu are not available all the time. Keeping aside the price and comparison, it's a nice place to hang out and enjoy bong dishes. If you're ok with money, you'll definitely enjoy the food.
