Located at Seven Bungalows near Versova, Andheri, this place is one of the oldest and most renowned places for chaats.
We tried their pani puri and it was an amazing experience. Though it's slightly expensive at 70 bucks, it's also hygienic and fun. Their dahi puri was absolutely tasty as well. The overall atmosphere and the service is really good.
Also eaten daal pakwan, kala jamun and Sev Barfis in the past which is quite famous. While I'm not a sweet loving person anymore, will recommend anyone with a sugar tooth to experience it.
There's a good chance you may end up spotting a TV celebrity here who might be relishing the chaats here. The time we went, there was Rahul Vaidya of Indian Idol fame along with his family.
Do let us know what you think about this eatery. We have found our new favourite chaat eating place and will keep adding further updates.
While Chandru’s is primarily a sweet shop with yummy sweets, they also have chaat stalls that are set up outside the shop. The Kaju Katri and Sev Barfi are personal favourites especially when they are fresh. The chaat options include Paani Puri, Sev Piri, Bhel and Dhai Batata Puri which according to me is one of the best in the city. They also have Ragda pattice which is yum. The seating area is less and generally full especially in the evenings. Parking is at your own risk as your vehicle may get towed unless you park your vehicle at a designated public parking space 500m away.
I tried their DAL PAKWAN which was awesome and also the responsible price this place is situated below versova metro station parking here is bit a problem but u can park in any lanes
