This outlet of pangat is located in Borivali West (gorai). Visited this place twice before lockdown. Appetizing food although with average staff services. Ambience is quite good with two storeyed seating arrangement area.

Panghat is quite famous for its non veg and sea food.The ambience is good and the service is up to the mark.
I have tried fried rice, fry bangda and non veg thali of bangda and bombay duck.
The thali is basically all in one combination and a pocket friendly buy.
Must visit this place for some delicious malwani sea food.
I had ordered Bombay duck rava fry, prawns rava fry,reshmi kebab, chicken stuffed kebab, everything I had ordered was very delicious, less oily, perfect taste, the staff is amazing, the service is great, the interior is also amazing. I visit this place most often with my family and friends.

If there is any place better for juicy, fresh fish fry and a great great variety I'm fond about is this place.
If your in a mood of having some good sea food then this is it.
I had surmai fry and prawns fry here, which is so crispy and juicy and really mouthwatering.
The chutney they serve is a perfect shade of geen having the perfect taste and a perfect go along with the fish.
This place is towards gorai near mhb in borivali west, I'd trade anything for good seafood like this.
Ambience - There are very few places offers candle light dinner in borivali, so when we heard they have it we had to try but it was not as expected because it was very dark and lights were not controlled properly as they should controll it when you host a candle light dinner.
Crowd type - Family crowed, young couples. place is ok for family groups and friends, also safe for only ladies groups to go.
Food taste - their specialty is malvani food and it was good i give them 4 stars for taste. only the red fish curry was not having that proper malvani taste so i had to cut 1 star otherwise it was delicioues.
Services - Slow and it was looking understaffed. we waited very long till someone came and took our order and took more time to get the food as well so i give 2 stars to service.
Cleanliness - very neat and clean place. i give 4 stars.
Recommend to try - Fish Thali, Surmai thali, Paplet Thali. Tandoori paplet was amazing. sol kadi was perfect must try.

Pangat is always famous for its non veg food. Malwani, konkani, sea food are just beyond amazing. The hotel is usually always crowded...there is a waiting queue most of the times...The place has veg food too but Non veg food is the heart of the place.
I ordered :
Paya soup, crab lollipop, bhakari, chapati, butter roti, kharwas, solkadi, prawns biryani, Wade, mutton & prawns gravy. The quantity, quality and taste was upto the mark. The food was spicy as the malwani cuisine is known for its spicy non veg food. The solkadi is soothing and the kharwas is the add on to make it a perfect meal 😍
The staff is courteous, orders are on time. Quick service. Ambience is good. A place highly recommend for non vegetarians.

Great seafood and malwani cuisine. Pangat is one of the very few restaurants that serve this cuisine in the Borivali / Kandivali area.
This place is mostly always crowded and there is a queue outside, so make sure you plan accordingly.
The fish thali is very filling with a really nice curry. Fried Surmai was tasty but was slightly dry. The Solkadi could've been better.
Fast & responsive service with staff that know the dishes well. The ambience has a lovely old school vibe to it although it can get crowded.
Crab was not fresh.
Prawns masala and shrimps were very tasty.

If you are a fish lover you must try Pangat place. We ordered one Surmai thali size of the fish good enough, bhakhri, ravas rass, rass, rice, javla, solkadi. Then we ordered prawns masala with bhakri this was 5/5 star. And ofcourse you need to order solkadi.

Great place to take your family out for dinner! But make sure to leave early because there's waiting pretty much all the time. Also, the place closes in the afternoon at 3-4 til the evening, so call before going.
Best place for non-veg especially seafood. We tried surmai and Macarel thali, bombil fry, prawns fry, chicken masala and vade (puri made of multigrain), solkadi & swet kharwas. Everything was awesome and perfect. Also tried mandeli fry fish which was crispy and tasty.
After a long time had seafood the taste of the food was delicious the atmosphere was also Family friendly....and specially their bombil fry and Paplet fry was so tasty must order ....and also there bhakri was soft ......would love to come back here again with family..

PANGAT! A place to take your family and loved ones to enjoy some amazing delicious marathi home style food. The prawns and fish are fresh and yum the chicken well cooked and the solkadi is super! The staff is super friendly and if in doubt what to order they have great suggestions and will bring you the best food no question asked! Do try the malwani chicken with wada and amboli! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Hope you ENJOY!
