It's a really good restuarant its It in my locality so I often visit it ...its locality is really nice ...this restuarant was mostly full before the lockdown when I visited it's the main reason it's so full because of it's really good auntentic dishes the food is really tasty and its taste like home made food..another thing I really like is that their seating arrangement they have renovated it little time back and its amazing..one should definitely try fish fry and thali with vada ..and in desert karvas is the best

Pangat is an authentic Malwani cuisine restaurant with very good ambience and service.The food is delicious.Chicken Kolhapuri is my favorite.
It is mostly packed on weekends and festivals so sometimes you have to wait outside for More than hour.

Pangat is know for their non-vegetarian food. It’s a paradise for authentic Malvani and sea food lovers. Have tried their thalis before so this time we ordered:

I visited here many times . Food taste was really nice. They maintained good hygiene . But there are some cons about this restaurant. Food quantity was less plus food was really expensive. There were too much waiting..no proper waiting area facilities available.

This place is a very family friendly place and well known especially for fish and non veg..
It has an indoor as well outdoor seating.. The indoor seating is really cool... And pleasing.
We ordered:
1)Chicken lollipop- As the name and tradition, this dish has my heart, well cooked and fried this chicken lollipop was tasty to an another level also it was served with some schezwan chutney which made it perfect.
2)Bombay duck fry- Bombay duck or better known as bombil in marathi is one of my favourite fishes, here at pangat the Bombay duck fry is fried with a rava coating and is really tastyyyy and crispy with a lot of Indian masala flavour.
3)Prawn rice- The prawn rice was moist and tasty and had some good chunks of prawns in it making it satisfying for the stomachs.
In short love this place, always a delightful experience to visit here!

Great seafood and malwani cuisine. Pangat is one of the very few restaurants that serve this cuisine in the Borivali / Kandivali area.
This place is mostly always crowded and there is a queue outside, so make sure you plan accordingly.
The fish thali is very filling with a really nice curry. Fried Surmai was tasty but was slightly dry. The Solkadi could've been better.
Fast & responsive service with staff that know the dishes well. The ambience has a lovely old school vibe to it although it can get crowded.
Crab was not fresh.
Prawns masala and shrimps were very tasty.
Again visited after a year or so.
No change in ambiance.
Same amazing taste of Prawns masala and Shripms masala.
Bombil fry and prawns fry were standard.
Also tried chicken wing barbecue which was delicious.

If you are a fish lover you must try Pangat place. We ordered one Surmai thali size of the fish good enough, bhakhri, ravas rass, rass, rice, javla, solkadi. Then we ordered prawns masala with bhakri this was 5/5 star. And ofcourse you need to order solkadi.

Great place to take your family out for dinner! But make sure to leave early because there's waiting pretty much all the time. Also, the place closes in the afternoon at 3-4 til the evening, so call before going.
Best place for non-veg especially seafood. We tried surmai and Macarel thali, bombil fry, prawns fry, chicken masala and vade (puri made of multigrain), solkadi & swet kharwas. Everything was awesome and perfect. Also tried mandeli fry fish which was crispy and tasty.
After a long time had seafood the taste of the food was delicious the atmosphere was also Family friendly....and specially their bombil fry and Paplet fry was so tasty must order ....and also there bhakri was soft ......would love to come back here again with family..

PANGAT! A place to take your family and loved ones to enjoy some amazing delicious marathi home style food. The prawns and fish are fresh and yum the chicken well cooked and the solkadi is super! The staff is super friendly and if in doubt what to order they have great suggestions and will bring you the best food no question asked! Do try the malwani chicken with wada and amboli! The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. Hope you ENJOY!
