I live in delhi, I visit mumbai once in a year and I come to konkan chilly specially from juhu .
This restraunt is a must visit place.
Different types of fish ,chicken are available and all are very very tasty .
The best thing is that food is not so costly and it tastes very good.
Keep it up konkan chilly.
This palce makes my mumbai trip awesome as I get to taste delicious food which I dont get in delhi.

The Paneer Kadhai was mind blowing😃🤤... but today the Tandoori rotis were undercooked 😔 and did not receive the rumali roti which I was excited for😔. But I still am a Tandoori nights Loyal... their taste is simply Awesome. And Yes the Restaurant refunded the Rumali Roti amount.
This restaurant is much better with taste factor but really need to work with service thing very slow service like you will seat for 45 mins atleast to get your order to the table for sure so will not recommended if you have to get your food and leave for some important work if you have plenty of time in your hand then do visit this place for awesome food

Items ordered : Butter chicken, mutton afghani and Butter naans.
Butter chicken : lot of restaurants get this famous dish wrong but konkan chilly surely didn't. It was amazing.
Mutton afghani : This was the dish that I didn't quite like because of the taste and flavors it had I just couldn't understand the flavours. Usually Afghani is creamy and white in color with a natural sweetness to it this was different, more on the lines on mughlai.
Butter naan : Naan were super chewy.
Lastly I have been eating from this place since a couple of years and mostly had a good time.
Firstly, we ordered for Butter Chicken and Kolambi bhat which were excellent but what was even more moving was the way Ms. Anu served us. We had made an order from swiggy but the delivery boy ghosted us after picking the order from Konkan Chilly. Also, the order was picked 30 mins late. When we informed Ms. Anu about it she asked to order again and personally made sure promised we get the order in the next 30 mins and delivered some really hot, fresh and delicious food. We were touched by the hospitality. Do order guys!
One of the best tandoori chicken I ever had in my life. Chicken wa very fresh . I must appreciate the chef of Konkan chilly. You won my heart for taste and hygiene .Fingerlicious experience!!!
I regularly order food from Konkan chilly especially midnight cravings. The chicken tikka dum biryani is the best biryani i have ever had. I love their Chinese food also specially Chicken chilly dry and Chicken Burnt garlic fried rice.Their food quantity is good and taste is simply awesome.
Took a take away food from konkan chilly today for my kids .We had Chinese food and White Chicken tandoori and Tandoori lolluops. The taste was lip smacking. My kids really enjoyed it aa it was prepared just d way I asked them to do it less spicy for my kids. Even in Chinese the best part I s they do not use Ajinomotto in their food and still the taste was so good.
I Ordered todayfrom Konkan Chilly their Surmai Thali and trust me d quality of food that they serve is simply awesome. Even Bombil fry was fresh and crispy. Delivery done on time and food was also Hot n nice
I ordered from Konkan chilly yesterday since have not eaten outside food since almost 4 months. But since their food quality and taste is d same since so many years and it is one of my favorite joints next to my work place in Malad mind space I decided to order from Konkan chilly and only and nowhere else as I know they maintain good hygiene standards. The food was as usual yummmy and delicious Like always. Missed the restaurant food so much during this lockdown. Thanks KONKAN CHILLY for making my day.
We ordered veg amarican chopsuey and ved hakka noodles and the taste was amazing. Other day we also tried chicken biriyani and it was also delicious. 😋
We celebrated my brother's Birthday there. Food is amazing. Cost is also okay.had amezing time there. definitely try their sizzling brownie with icecream, its amezing.

Kokan chilly is known for Fish thalis and kokani food but we tried chicken masala and chicken tandoor malai this time
Coming to chicken malai starter - 280/-
- it was nicely cooked , soo sweet in taste , chicken was not that sweet in taste as malai reminds of sweetness but they gave onion and curd sugar added in it makes the onion deep sweeter
Overall good taste but if you dont like sweet dont go for this
- chicken masala - 250/-
Chiken masala was also good not a wow factor overall average in taste
- rotis , naan , and kulcha , rice bhakri
All threes are soft and well cooked especially rice bhakri was so soft i loved bhakri
Overall good in taste , definitely try once if you are around malad west (5d)
Very lovely atmosphere and owner was very attractive and They are handling there work with very smily face and they are attending to all people very respectively very nice behaviour

Started off with Chicken crispy which had the comibination of sweet and spicy.. it tasted decent.. wasn't disappointed..
For main course we ordered for Murgh Lahori.. which was spicy and tasted good with butter naan and also butter chapati..!!
For dessert we ordered a sizzling brownie with ice-cream, the brownie was soft and fresh..
Over all had a decent experience and value for money.. will visit again..!! 😊

This decade old iconic restaurant has made its mark in th nusy corporate area of Mindspace pleasing and satisfying the hungerpangs of people from all generations. Konkan Chilly is a restaurant serving some of the most authentic Malvani delicacies along with delicious Indian & Chinese options as well. Recently visited this place again with my pals & felt so nostalgic. The management is on point & the service is very warm thanks to its sweet lady owner who herself is present all the time even after being in business now for 10 years. Food we ordered:
1. Chicken Koliwada: To start with we ordered the must have for every Malvani cuisine lover and that is Chicken Koliwada. Small tender chunks of chicken nicely marinated in Malvani spiced marination and deep fried. Served with some fresh mint chutney. A dash of lemon and some onions is all you need to relish on this snack. Totally worth it & highly recommended.
2. Prawns Fry: Secondly we tried this delicious starter in prawns. Medium sized prawns coated in tangy spicy marination and semolina, deep fried to perfect crunchy bites. These were too good and complimented well with the schezwan dip. They also went well with the mint dip. Another must have indeed..
3. White Tandoori: On their recommendation we tried this white tandoori chicken. If you love chicken kalimiri or malai style then you are gonna absolutely love this. One of their best sellers, it’s a whole chicken marinated in creamy batter with some pepper and roasted to nice charr grilled flavor. Another stunner on table indeed..
4. Kolambi Bhaat: For the Mains we ordered this prawns rice based dish. Its extremely spicy but equally delicious, a very nice balance. The rice was tossed well in prawns coconut preparation for that perfect balance of spice and flavor. Totally nailed it.
5. Kombadi Wade Thali: Obviously who would miss an authentic thali experience when in such a place. I truly am a Kombadi wade lover and this was definitely on point. The thali consisted of Chicken Masala dry, Chicken Rassa, Kombadi Wade, Salad, Steam Rice, Papad & Solkadi. Definitely worth every penny.
6. Desserts: For desserts we hd some nice hot soft gulab jamuns which were quite fresh and some yummy caramel custard. Something we needed to balance out all the spices..
7. Beverages: For refreshments we had a Classic Virjin Mojito & a Virgin Kiwi Mojito, both of them were on point and quite refreshing to the palate..
Overall I truly enjoyed the visit & am truly glad the quality of food as well as quantity is no wehere compromised in all these years. Also the service is still on point. The ambience and décor definitely has got a massive uplift as per the recent trend with calm bluish undertone decors and some peppy music on the background. A special mention to the owner who inspite of all odds makes it a point to personally check with customers for feedback whenever shes around. We definitely need such service. Totally recommended.

Ordered for a surmai fish thali which is under rs.300. In that you get 1 piece of surmai fried fish and 1 piece of surmai fish in konkan gravy with sol kadhi..
Along with malvani food they have other cuisines as well..
Shall surely visit again

❖ Location- Malad west area got so many foodie residents so yes the location is so ideal to be honest opp to evershine mall just near link road. (4/5)
❖ Theme- Though the name has konkan in it, they don’t serve only Konkani food, they have oriental and north Indian food too in the restaurant.(4/5)
❖ Ambience- Honestly nothing much to speak about, had little odd kind of smell as soon as we enter inside might be surrounding smell of the entrance (outside their restaurant). God good number of seating in the restaurant. Walls got nice pictures of all the Indian spices giving an aromatic touch. In all interiors were ok types keeping in mind that they must be doing lot of delivery orders.(4/5)
❖ Food and Beverage- Food menu is never ending to be honest, it’s huge and I really wonder and appreciate the chef’s inside who manages such a lengthy menu from kitchen. As I am saying menu is lengthy I was surprised that each dish was available. Menu consists of Konkani food, Chinese and north Indian food. We were totally focused and pre decided that we were wanted to have Konkani food from their menu. Beverages are taken aback sit here and expected so. They have few mocktails like mojito’s which you might be able to try to keep yourself going along with delicious food, especially pineapple mojito which was excellent. Food really won my heart in konkan chilly. Each dish had its own unique flavour and taste (4.5/5)
• BOMBAY DUCK FRY- Super crispy coated bombil marinated with just little seasoning and masala tasted superb. Coated with guess rice flour and rawa to give the perfect crisp. Good part here was that bombil has tendency to be very water but here it was not.(4/5)
• SURAMAI TAW FRY- Surmai slice marinated in malvani masala with little more punch of tamarind to give a sweet and sour taste and then shallow fried on tawa. Fish was fried perfectly to be honest, was moist and flavourful. (4.5/5)
• FISH TIKKA- Chunks of fish marinated in tikka marination and cooked in tandoor to give a perfect starter. Marination of the fish and cooking time was really spot on here to be honest. Really feel a must order dish of konkan chilly.(5/5)
• TANDOORI POMFRET- Here comes Dish of the Meal. Whole medium size (Medium because we told them to bring medium) pomfret fish marinated nicely in tandoori marination and cooked to the perfection. Marination was little sweetish than normal which was really nice and fish was marinated well enough so each meat part of the fish had marination to be honest. It’s a must try dish of this restaurant, believe me you would love it to the core.(5/5)
• PRAWN KOLIWADA- Medium size prawns coated in koliwada style marination and then fried crispy enough. little squeeze of lemon wedge and yes they are ready to be nailed.(4.5/5)
❖ To sum up- A wow factor is always a mixer of interiors, location, service and food and beverage department of the restaurant. Food was amazing to be honest we nailed it really. Balancing of flavours, cooking timing was something I really liked and appreciates the chef inside who managed it very well along with your never ending menu. From this restaurant I felt location and interiors are just side hero’s as their main hero which was Food was extraordinary. I would be one of your regular guests, hope to try few other dishes from the menu and off course Chinese and north Indian cuisine next time. Good experience, went there on suggestion of my brother.. Had a chiken recipe with Butter Rotis for main course, The place is not that big but average and close to the main road
