Great place for seafood. Was here on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the tandoori Surmai, king prawns tawa fry and rawas salt pepper. All were outstanding in taste and freshness. The beer was super chilled which was welcoming. Dessert was furniture, kesar kulfi and matka phirni. The staff is very nice. Welcoming and had a sense of humour when we were joking with them. The manager was also very friendly.
I would certainly go here than any other touristy sea food joint in fort.
It has a real Bombay-Mumbai feel. All classic wooden furniture with very clean and pleasant atmosphere.

Simple bar which can be considered for office evenings. Bottle system at great prices. There is nothing such as ambience, it’s usually crowded and little noisy.
Try country chicken sukkah - great preparation to be enjoyed with drinks. Fish tikka is ok, ask them to prepare with black pepper.

We visited this place on a Friday night. A great place to hangout w/ friends. The vibe of this place is great. The place was crowded. The food as well as the service was good. Butter chicken highly recommended. We also ordered dal khichdi, but it tasted okayish. Overall a very nice experience.✨
It’s a lovely bar and nice place. Food is amazing. The surmai tawa fry is a must try and lip smacking. The service is a little slow by the waiter but the food is so great that it can be ignored. And yes dal khicdi is my absolute favourite

Stumbled upon this place due to the amazing decor that they had in their entrance passage, looked so lit with the swing and the Christmas vibe all together. Decided to go heavy on mains this time since I was extremely hungry! We started off with the Dakshin special kebabs - 3 different types of tender juicy chicken so well marinated you'll be licking your fingers.
Later decided to go for the chicken tikka biryani and chicken gravy with neer dosa. The Biryani was definitely the highlight, quantity is a lot and just so well made, you'll not wanna stop eating this at all. The neer dosa was super good too, worth it overall. Definitely recommend you to dine in here, go for it!

Visited Dakshin bar and kitchen with my family recently. Loved the vibe, ambience and food. For starters we ate Veg Kinale and Hari Mirch prawns. Both are a must try! For main course we tried their Malabar chicken gravy with appam, that’s our personal favourite now. For drinks we ordered Virgin mojito and Mojito Blue lagoon and we ended it all with Brownie with ice cream for dessert. We sure had a great time!

Food and service were great. The smoking area is much bigger than non-smoking. For that reason, I don't think it's very family friendly.

Nice food, fresh fish,i tried pomfret tandoori,n Ravas fry both were delicious.neel dosa was also soft n tasty highly recommend place for fish lover's.Also this guys show you the fish before cooking that's amazing.Ambience is good, also has separate section for family.Need to take care of washroom area as it was stinking.
