Drifters Brewing Company, Kamala Mills Brief about Drifters- A perfect addition to kamala mills for drinks and a party place. Beers you really can enjoy here and especially if you have a zomato gold membership on which you will get 2+2 drinks so nothing like it. Try few of the recommended appetizers from their servers. This Place can be enjoyed with your own group of friends or family who really wants to get soaked in the party atmosphere. If you are the Craft beer lover then make sure you visit Drifters. My Recommendations- • Charles the Piles Beer • Calamari Rings • Butter Garlic Prawns • Baklava with Vanilla ice cream Quick Ratings- • Final Ratings- 4/5 • Location- 4.5/5 • Concept- 4.5/5 • Look and Feel- 4/5 • Beverages- 4.5/5 • Food- 3.5/5 • Value for Money- 3.5/5 Detailed Review- Location- One more yes one more restaurant in Kamala mills in Trade view building. Doesn’t this place keep producing excellent restaurants one by one? (4.5/5) Concept- Serving a homemade fresh beer along with some of the delicious food which can go very well with food. Here they say proudly that “Beer culture is celebrated here” (4.5/5) Look and Feel- Let me tell you that it’s a huge place. They got three different sections of sitting in one restaurant. Maintaining such a huge place in kamala mills is a big challenge to be honest. Outside section (AC) has given the rustic look which looked nice when you think of beer place. Inside one wall got painting which shows the steps of beer preparation. Lighting is medium, neither very bright not very dark. Seating got chairs which are ok types, not very comfortable but yes can be considered fine as it’s a beer place. AC wasn’t working fine I guess, as cooling was missing though it’s just a start of the summers. One side got their bar section which looks really simple considering such a huge place. Front side of the restaurant got huge screen for your sports love. (4/5) Beverages- Craft beers are really in now a day’s isn’t it? In recent year guess lot of breweries opened in Mumbai and I am sure they will really be popular as many of us got bored of drinking the bottled beer and even the climate of Mumbai which is hot and humid resulting in the more beer drinkers in city. This place serves 6 special beers of their own brewed beers. Their brewery is in pune from where they bring the beers in this restaurant. The beers are made with imported ingredients so can be easily seen that they don’t compromise on quality. The beers are made using finest Czech malts and best hops. They got 6 beers which you can try and choose from them. Few of the beers you might like are Charles the piles (I tried), T Wit and Milky way. (4.5/5) • CHARLES THE PILES- A proper Czech pilsner style lager which is mainly created similar to bottom fermented beers of pilsen region of Czech. Beer is little mild and got refreshing taste and bitterness and malts are balanced well with the different hops. A perfect light and smooth beer which will be really a need after hard working day or on a relaxing weekend.(4.5/5) Food- Each drinking place must have a really good menu to support their drinks. Here the menu which is created suits the concept of the restaurant. Menu got categories like appetizers, salads, Mediterranean appetizers, fresh, pizza pasta and main courses off course. Somehow I feel they have to work on food taste and the portion/quantity served in each dish. Few of the dishes were tasted really well but the portion size wasn’t really wow. Considering a brewery place the menu is really nice and good part is that it’s not very lengthy. They got live pizza section where you can enjoy the making of your own pizza. Few corrections in the food dishes are strongly recommended. (3.5/5)

Known for tap beer and great food ! after a tiring day at work , sitting for hours in a conference or wish to chill with friends on a game night!! DRIFTERS got you covered with their brewed beers and amazing tappas to go with. happen to visit this place on a weekend with a friend in the evening. the place is huge, with two sections which has a section made for people who enjoy smoking. the decors of the place are crafted out well, minor detailing is done to make it impressive . the space is quite enormous and tables are neatly laid in configuration of 4 and more. DRIFTERS is known for its brewed beer, they get their beer brewed and made in pune and then stationed here. drifters serves a total of 6 beers ranging from all special wit beer to rye ale. they have been making few progressive in the original ones to sense your taste buds with amusement. drifters serves a total of 6 beers, did get to try all of them and from those my personal favorite was the belgian wit beer . it has a dominant aroma of spices and gives a after taste of ripped banana.another is the cream stout, its one of the drifters crafted beer, which has a promising after taste of coffee to beer, this goes well with the 5 layer mexican dip with nachos. if you are not familiar ask them for the tester cart. NACHOS WITH 5 LAYER MEXICAN DIP- the dip was chilled and full of earthy flavors. the bean at base was seasoned well and sour cream had perfect balance of tarness to it. its mild spicy and cheesy to taste. goes well with the cream stout beer. STUFFED MEDITERRANEAN POTATOES- this was quite a normal dish to hog onto, layer cheese on top with baked potato didnt amuse much. a dish not to try out when here. can be skipped. SPANISH GARLIC VEGETABLE SOUP- a lot of vegetables incorporated in the zuppa, it made it give crunch. it is tangy and sour to taste.leave a mild spicy after taste after each spoonful. quite a average soup to hog onto. LAHMACUN(SOYA)- it is a mediterranean flat bread , topped with soya kheema with spices and tomatoes and sprinkled with fresh cut tangy onions. this is a must try tappa here, will savor the taste buds and go well with your beer. its just like having a crostini. a drifter signature. SARAY KATMERI- the main course consist of savory pancakes with assorted veggies pilled on each other and then topped with cheese and grilled to perfection. this was a gastronomical explosion of taste in mouth. the top layer having cheese gave the creaminess and the savory taste was accompany from the fluffy pancakes. veggies were sorted well and gave a crunch.give a try and youll crave for more. BAKALAVA WITH VANILLA SCOUP- puff pastry was crunch and sweet and pistachio stuffing was prepared well to keep a balance between saltiness, nutty flavor and sweet taste. vanilla ice cream is freshly prepared in house which is creamy and milky to taste. it was a great experience at the drifters, with trendy music on back, screening happening and ambiance set up where memories are for sure made. i would be happy to visit this place again and again. staff is friendly , helpful for one to understand about beer and knows the in and out of menu well.

Kamala Mills compound is the city’s gastronomic heaven, with some of Mumbai’s (and ours) favourite restaurants, bars and cafes. This place has something for everyone! One of the gem in this crown is a microbrewery called Drifters Brewing Co. This place promises to serve the best handcrafted Eastern European beers in the city, and it delivers! They have six unique beers from all across Europe, namely Apple Cider, Bavarian Hefeweizen, English Pale Ale, Milky Stout, Czech Pilsner and Belgian Witbier. These are brewed using the finest Czech malts and hops, and are completely natural and preservative-free. You’ll get to sip and taste each of these handcrafted brews, before you order your favourite one. They also have a ‘Drink More-Pay Less’ concept where you pay ₹260 for 1 – 5 pints of beer, ₹235 for 6-10 pints of beer and ₹220 for 11 – 15 pints of beer or more! But this experience would be incomplete without some delicious food to compliment the beverage and thankfully, this place doesn’t disappoint. Drifters has a wide menu comprising of cuisines from all over the world, including Italian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern food. From finger foods that make for the perfect bar snack to gourmet main course dishes, they have it all. Some of our favourites are Pita with Hummus and assorted dips, Mediterranean Pizza, Spanish Garlic vegetable soup, Asparagus & Zucchini sticks, Classic Bruschetta and Risotto Supreme. We went for the Sunday ‘Jazz’ brunch and spent the afternoon swaying to the tunes of Karim and Lydia, brewery’s amazing performers. You can have the same experience for ₹1,699 with Unlimited Craft Beer and Food. They also host many events ranging from match-screenings, ladies’ nights to live stand-up gigs, karaoke nights and DJ nights. Drifters has a very quaint, cosy vibe with wooden chairs, lean tables and muted lighting. But this place also has a fun side, with neon signs and beer pong tables, to soothing jazz and board games. The pillars on the side are either inspired by James Bond’s martini glasses or stolen straight from Mumbai’s gorgeous terminal two airport. They bind the whole place together. Also, the entire wall on the side is painted with wall art, depicting the brewing process. So, to sum it all up, this place not only satisfies the need for a brewery with handcrafted beers in the city, but also offers a wide range of cuisines to go along with it.

Unlike restaurants, we don't see new brewing companies very often. Drifters brewing company located in kamla mills of lower parel area is one of the very few best hoods for a new range of draught beers. With an inhouse brewing menu offering 6 different beers, they made it simple and sorted to pick your drink. Of course they cover all premium brand wine and liquor too. You get to taste all of their draughts at one go to help you decide. Charles the pils which has 4.7% of alcohol and apple Cider are my favorite from their draught menu. Their food menu is mainly about finger food that goes well with beers. They offer good option from lebanese cuisine like zattar with hummus, mezze while the pizza and pasta menu would impress you too. I would highly recommend Lahmacun from their pizza section which was much loved by my squad. Service was pretty smooth and the service team gave us best of suggestions. Drifters now also has a Sunday Jazz brunch option which covers unlimited craft beer and food at a good price.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon for a few drinks. The place was empty. Good music was being played. We asked for the beer tasters. They have some very good range of home brews. Ended up ordering a couple of them along with the bacon sliders. Great beer and good food!!

There is something golden brewing, at newly opened Drifters Brewing Co. At Kamala mills. Bringing to you the best of Eastern Europe are Mr. Nayan Shah and Shital Shah. You can expect authentic handcrafted beers that are brewed using only the finest Czech malts and hops. Head to Drifters for a hearty meal & sample some of these glorious, freshest Czech pilsners! Quench your thirst, with six of their signature brews; Love Potion, Sunny Bavaria, Cricket Ale, Milky Way, Charles the Pills and Twit. Charles the Pill & Twit being our favourite with golden colour, high foaminess and lighter flavour. Not a fan of Apple cider brew, But Love Potion had us wanting for more, Must try this one👍👍 With dishes from all over the world, the menu is a little of everything and satiates your taste buds just fine.. Pita with assorted five dips - loved the dips, a must try. Pita din’t feel that fresh though. Asparagus & Zucchini Sticks - were okish. Garlic Bread - was crispy and very well flavoured 👍 Couscous veg pita slider - is really on the spicy side, but very well done👍 Mediterranean Pizza - was perfectly loaded and flavourful. Risotto Supreme - Koshari - Egyptian rice, lentils & macaroni served with spicy okra tomato stew. Winner of a dish. Beautifully presented and delicious. A must try. Panna Cotta - missed the wobble, and we say miss this one. Yes we loved the place for their brews and decent ambience. They have lot of good deals going around. Food is just fine. So are we headed back to the Drifters sometime soon?? Well definitely Yes!!!!
