Mainland China is a good fine dining restaurant for Chinese food. We simply love their dimsums, chicken pan-fried noodles and caramel coconut custard, to name a few. This restaurant has been consistent in terms of food and service and never disappoints. ALSO THIS IS AN OLD UPDATE.

Its a decent joint looks normal from outside but good ambiance from inside.Altough located on the busy andheri kurla road and the traffic is annoying but their valet guys are efficient and good.

Mainland China never disappoints and Asia Kitchen in saki naka, absolutely lived up to my expectations. Since this was the first I was going to have the mainland buffet at this outlet, I was a little apprehensive. But soon after entering the restaurant, I realized my apprehensions we're in vain. Beautiful ambience and very professional and courteous staff. But the real delight was the food. Perfectly prepared leaving not the slightest cause for complaint. Absolutely everything item in the buffet was perfect and incredibly delicious, making it rather difficult to make my choice. The soup was probably one of the best soups I have had in the last few months. Neither too think not too dilute, neither too flavourful nor too bland, neither too heavy nor too light, it was literally the star of the day. Even my friend couldn't help but finish his entire bowl, though there was an entire line-up of dishes too be had. The main course was literally finger-licking! KFC ought to surrender their slogan. At this point I wondered if I should have starved myself for an entire day, because the food was only getting better and better while I was running out of storage space in my stomach. The final dessert ensemble was just joy! That's literally the best way to describe it. At this point I cursed my full stomach. I really wanted a second serving of the dessert but alas! I was packed. In the end, my final amazing experience in the restaurant came from a rather unlikely place-- the washroom. This was probably the cleanest washrooms I have seen in months and there was a scented candle lit inside, which let out the most sweetest fragrance. The fragrance was not just sweet but was soothing, almost healing. I had a rather weird desire to just keep sitting in the washroom owing to its clean and soothing and healing ambience.
The entire experience was so incredible that I felt that I got a lot more value for my money. This is one place you really need to check out, especially if out with family. Also, perfectly suitable for that perfect, sophisticated date. One of the best outlets of Mainland China. If you are a Mainland China fan, don't miss this one; if you are yet to try it, start with this.
I personally wanted to congratulate the manager, although he wasn't around when I was leaving.
Tasty food, need to improvise on mocktails
This was my first visit to Asia Kitchen. As you enter the positive vibes hit you. The decoration and ambience is amazing. The staff is always wearing a smile. Satff is very courteous and helpful. They have a amazing bar selection. The Sushi platers are amazing. They have both Ala-cart and buffet system. Varieties in the Ala-cart is amazing. The choice in noodles are available so they can be customized as per your requirement. The taste is amazing. Would be definitely visiting again soon. Will be definitely recommending it to my friends and family.

We visited on 8th November. Asia Kitchen by Mainland China is one of my all time favourite place for fine dining and making good memories of great satisfying experiences.
Besides chimes one can find Japanese Sushi and some Thai cuisine. For 3 of us it cost around INR 4000 - a good value for the money we spent.
Visited after 25 years!
Valet parking available.
Took my sister who was visiting from US and wanted to eat Mumbai Chinese.

Schezwan prawns was the softest fresh!

We loved the experience.
We were informed, unfortunately that it being Kartik Ekadashi no drinks will be served as it's a dry day (strange). No such board outside though. That was a bummer.

Excellent experience.... good food, good service and ambience. Went for the sit down fixed lunch, where several items are served like a buffet but on the table... starting with choice of soup, variety of starters, main course with varied veg and non veg dishes and several choices of dessert. Price is 1000 plus, valet parking available. Very good service which is charged in the bill. Overall a good experience and worth a visit for lovers of Asian food.
