Prakash is a good example of a small place which packs a massive punch.

Prakash specialises in snack and fast items.

The sabudana wada, sabudana khichdi, upma, poha, batatawada , misal, rajgira puri are the best you will ever find.

For ppl with a sweet tooth they have kharwas, basundi, poranpoli, shtikhand, piyush and kokum sharbat.

Once the lockdown has eased, Prakash is open for delivery and i love they bottles in which they serve piyush.

At prakash food will get u enlightment

I have my childhood memories having Sabudana vada and Piyush here ! Best place to eat authentic Maharashtrian food. It's located at Sickka Nagar, Charni Road. This place is very famous and one of the oldest restaurants. Their second outlet is in Dadar. On the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri, one can expect a minimum waiting of half an hour to one hour just for takeaways and hardly get a table to dine in!

Decent place for Maharashtrian breakfast! The sabudana wada was okay. The batata wada was nice! Their mawa barfi was delicious! Special pedha was good too. Masala milk was on point!

Most popular joint for fasting items. I have been visiting this place since Childhood and got opportunity to visit last week. The food taste is awesome and they have maintain the same for years. They have recently moved to next building as the original place has gone for redevelopment. This is Non AC place. You must have Sabudana Vada, Sadudana Khichdi, Thalipeth, Piyush and Solkhadi. Misal is also very good but they serve without Pav like any other place. If you in that side you must visit even if you are not fasting.

Make sure to get your receipt, get your change because the cashier is almost always distracted by the crowd lining up to pick up food. And now the obvious.. great place for some crisp sabudana wada and sabudana puri, and kokam extract(which they only distribute but don’t produce). A lot of the patrons also love their Piyush which is a watery shrikhand like drink.

The best sabudana wada I have ever eaten. Dahi missal, saabudaana khichadi , piyush and masaala milk are must try here. Do buy extra chaatani , sometimes u feel u eating Wada because u want to eat the chatni. A loverly age old eatery now decently updated to match the era. Bang Opp Fadkewadi Ganesh mandir Parking is a problem but 2 wheelers r managable.

We visited this place for snacks on a Sunday evening. It has a traditional Maharashtra Breakfast menu and is rather famous for its Piyush. We tried their Piyush but found it to be pretty ordinary. Their Sol Curry however was really fresh and refreshing. Their Vadapav was delicious. Their service is lightening fast which ensures that you don't stick around for long
