I had across this while shopping in Colaba and was actually heading to Theobroma which is in the same lane. The cafe looked interesting and upon seeing that it was by Moshes and that it served Arabian Cuisine, perked up my interest in it. Next I knew, as soon as I reached home I did a search and my joy to know they serve Kabsa! I have not heard Kabsa in a really long time. So my joy didn'tknow any boundaries and well, it was decided I just have to head here.

One cannot miss this place on the Colaba causeway, if you are looking for a quick bite after some street shopping then this place should be your pick. It is a small little place with around four tables so you might have to wait for a table.

Coming to the food, we got one sandwich, a shawarma and a mousse cake.

The food was nice, I liked it. Won’t call it extremely out of the world but for the price we paid it was totally yummy.

The star of the meal was the mousse cake, it was delicious! I could have had that for the entire evening. If you love chocolate cakes then I suggest that you give this one a try.

The damage was somewhere around INR 600/-

Been here a couple of times. Great place to grab a bite if you are in the area. I love their shawarma and the fact that they add extra Mayo / sauces / chillies on request. Even their drinks are quite nice.

Nice food!! Called for Harrissa egg! It's filling of mayo, onion eggs and chillies! It's sufficient for one person!! Reasonable for COLABA area!! Quality of food is also nice! Only staff needs to improve their talking on the phone otherwise recommend place

Cute, small place with a fused Medi- Lebanese/ Middle Eastern vibe. I love food curated by Moshe, and all his restaurants, so I'm a little biased but the shawarma is to die for :).

Whether you’re a CA returning home from an exhausting day, or the Avengers chilling out after saving New York City, Lebanese food is an all-time favourite. And when you say Lebanese, I say Sufra! It doesn’t stop at shawarma either!  A small hole-in-the-wall joint at Colaba Causeway - this is a must for any fan of middle east/lebanese food. They've changed the menu a bit since our review, so bear with us.

Hummus with Ful: Perfect hummus with warm kidney bean gravy. Delicious, comforting soul food. (No longer available) 4.5/5
Muhamara: Blended roasted bell peppers, walnuts and peanuts. Garnished with olive oil and paprika. Finger licking good! (Available on request) 5/5
Harissa Mushroom Pide: Crisp on the outside, tender on the inside mushrooms galore! Middle east twist on classic harissa - flavoured with Zaatar. (Available on request) 4.5/5
Kabsa: typical homestyle pulao. Average. 3/5
Vegetable Msakan: Baked filo pastry stuffed with veggies and paneer. Definitely the highlight! (No longer available) 5/5
Ashtalieh: Apricot Cream cheese pudding. Mildly sweet and nice creamy texture. Could do with slightly more apricot. 3.5/5
Date & Sesame Bar: Wholesome rich bar of oats, nuts and dates topped with tonnes of sesame seeds. Crunchy and yummy. 4/5
Veg Shawarma: Tiny portions but well made sauce. Again, pretty average. 3/5
Shakshouka: Poached eggs on a bed of tomato gravy ft. garlic, olive oil and paprika. Eggs quite hard-cooked, we'd prefer them slightly runny. Overwhelming flat taste of tomatoes. 2/5

Whether you're a CA returning home from an exhausting day or the Avangers chilling out after saving New York city Lebanese is an all time favourite, and when u say Lebanese I say Sufra!
A small hole in the wall place that can be easily missed can seat about 15-18 people. We went there on a Sunday afternoon and even though it was empty when we arrived it filled up in no time.
Before we get started, we should inform you that the menu was revamped, though we've included the variations in the review.

Now to the food :)

Hummus with ful: warm, comforting, feel good food. This dish comprised of a bed of well made hummus topped with a mildly sauted fava bean gravy. (No longer available ) 4/5

Muhamara: A bright, orange, roasted bell pepper and walnut dip begging to be licked off your fingers. (Available on request, a must have) 5/5

Harissa and mushroom pide: (pronounced pee-day) This is the Middle Easts answer to a pizza. Perfectly cooked mushrooms and capsicum(slightly crisp on the outside tender on the inside) in a Harissa sauce with zaatar. Heaven for mushroom lovers. (Available on request). 4/5

Kabsa: Average home style pulao. Can skip. 2.5/5

Vegetable Msakhan: An unassuming, but delicious filo pattice filled with Lebanese styled paneer and baked. (Taken off the menu). 4.5/5

Veg shawarma wrap: Basically a veg frankie, not value for money. 2.5/5

Shakshouka: A breakfast item that doubles up as an evening meal in some places like Israel, Shakshouka comprises mainly of tomatoes and poached eggs. Eggs were not well done, yolk wasn't even slightly runny. A let down. 2.5/5

Turkish coffee: black, unfiltered and sans milk. We love. 3.5/5

Chain-B-Nana: Hot, mint, yummy tea. 3.5/5

Ashtaleih: Nice, mildly sweet cream cheese pudding, garnished with apricot. Solid way to end the meal. Though we wouldn't have minded a little tartness to cut the creaminess. 3/5

Date and sesame bar: Rich, great tasting date bar topped with sesame seeds. Good taste overall. 3/5
