Carter Road is amongst any food lover’s favourite spot. The availability of all kinds of food coupled with an amazing view of the sea is a perfect evening for almost anyone. Dhadoom has now opened one store on Carter Road. There are a variety of fries, burgers, sandwiches shakes as well as other beverages. Majority of the recipes are curated by famous chef Harpal Sokhi himself thus having a special touch to them. The outlet has a basement seating arrangement which can accommodate a large group of people easily. Therefore do not be deceived by the size of the store from the outside. I happened to try out the following dishes on my recent visit to the Dhadoom outlet on Carter Road: 1. Cheese Loaded Nachos: The quantity of the nachos served was generous and the taste was delectable too. The cheese sauces used complemented the dish very well. The nachos are made in-house and also have a premium flavour, texture and crispiness to them. 2. Har-Pal Butter Chicken: Butter chicken is one of those North Indian dishes that I am really proud of. It complements any and every dish so well. Recently I had tried butter chicken paranthas and butter chicken sliders, its such a phenomenal dish on its own. This belief has now strengthened after trying out the butter chicken fries at Dhadoom. The gravy is neither too sweet nor too spicy, its balanced. The chicken is also quite soft and complements the fries well. 3. Spicy Chicken Tikka Burger: The spicy chicken tikka burger was another dish that surprised me. First of all, seeing the pink bun itself made the burger look refreshing and unique from all the other burgers that I have ever tried. I was then told by the staff that the pink colour is derived naturally through the presence of beetroot while production of the bun. Coming to the taste, it was scrumptious till the last bite. The chicken was soft and tender. 4. Chocolate Fries: This was an extra ordinary dish. While placing an order for this, I was concerned and curious how in any dimension would fries be paired with chocolate? After the first bite of it, I could really feel how wrong my expectations were. To describe the taste, imagine fries being mixed with oozing quantities of Hershey’s chocolate syrup in a bowl. Now add more chocolate syrup to the previous mixture. Sprinkle it with colourful (edible) beads and you have one of the most unique dishes. I really liked it but I would not recommend to have this dish on your own as the quantity of sugar would be too much. Its the dish to be had amongst your group of friends/family. 5. Sandwiches: I tasted Schezwan Saga Sandwich as well as Nutella Cheese sandwich. The Schezwan sandwich looked delightful and colourful however it lacked a solid taste. The Nutella cheese sandwich had a homemade taste to it and was overall a comforting kind of dish. I didn’t prefer the sandwiches as much as I liked/enjoyed the fries, burger and the nachos. Overall, Dhadoom is a great outlet to visit with your group of friends. The variety and the taste of the dishes will have you coming here for a long time. The dishes have colour, flavour and a unique taste to themselves and it’s quite different from what other restaurants of the same category have to offer in their menu. I would visit here again soon.

Hello Foodies. Quirky place, colours scattered on the walls, lively place, peppy ambience, shine and dazzling lights describes this newly opened outlet of Dhadoom in Carter road. The environment is super fun and lively with good music. Impressive seating arrangement with a basement too and courteous staff. Dhadoom's menu is all about international street food with indian twist with a lot of varieties. Overall, Dhadoom is a fun place with so much variety to offer in such a reasonable price and icing on the cake is, it is instagramable where one can take never ending selfies.
