Super place and Wong and Peter both gem of a person they make and serve food by heart and soul. Ur stomach may get full but still u will carving little more.
Literally hidden among the by-lanes of 4 bungalows due to dingy lighting as well as not-so-fancy interiors. The place doesn't taste like your typical Chinese food which you get in nearly every restaurant. The food here has its unique taste as well as their own take on Chinese cuisine. Chicken Lollipop gravy and chicken fried rice is one of the best combos to try. It's a must try for every Chinese food lover.
Love this place. Heavenly food. Awesome and friendly staff. Been frequently this eatery since the last 18 years. Golden people, golden food. Only downside is it's next to a broiler so some veg foodies might find the smell offensive and the seating capacity is less. However that doesn't deter the fans. We mostly order in our car. My personal favourites are Chicken Basil Rice and Ginger Chicken. The chicken lollipops are also to die for. Must must eat at this place once and you will be a fan for life. What are you waiting for! Go visit.....
No doubt about taste and quality...infact u will get addict like cigarettes or pubg with peter...but they are not upgrading some basic services such as air conditioning, clean environment...easy delivery.....we all peter lover are ready to pay if ambience is improved
Have known about this place from over 30 year's.... I guess that sums it all up..... Try everything out here, especially the chicken lollypops.... The ambience is not that great but it's the best take away place for Chinese food.

I wish there were more stars that I could add. This is easily one of the best and my personally favourite place for years now. Needless to say, have had everything on the menu and few preparations off the menu as well. Have been visiting this place right from my childhood and not much has changed. I haven't yet got the privilege to taste the authentic Chinese from China yet, but food at Peter Cook might be very close to it, as the (late)Head Chef/Owner himself hailed from Hakka province in China. The food at Peter Cook thankfully doesn't taste like indo-chinese or desi Chinese as you might call it, which you get at any Udupi restaurant or every corner in Mumbai. Schezwan rice is not red, Singapore rice doesn't exist and noodles are handcrafted and yah, no fancy names.The taste speaks for itself. Their sauces are authentic and quite a few ingredients are also imported from the genuine source for the authentic taste. No compromise on quality whatsoever. Peter and Rinki (the sons) have successfully continued the legacy of their father & uncle for years now. Their hardwork and warmth reflects in their food. Have had Chinese at many places and trust me none of them, which includes a few high rank chain of restaurants also don't come close to the taste Peter Cook offers. Thankful for serving such delicious food over the years.

The noodles they make are imply out of the world with the red sauce their signature sauce.
I've been eating at Peter cook's since 20+ years my family's been eating from Peter cook's since maybe 30 years , nice joint to have Chinese , different from your regular " Chinese " restaurants would recommend.
Small place nxt to Quatersdeck. With dim lights and with not that Excellent ambience .But I challenge you if taste matters to you then this is best place . Ordered manchow soup.and Manchurian Rice .mind blowing taste . But must try here is chicken lollipop can't beat the taste excellent taste .and the 1 which is serve here you .will not get anywhere else .
Wonderful noodles, rice and starters. One should definitely try their Chicken Lollypop (which is with gravy) as well as Flavoured Noodles, Kung Pao Chicken and to top them all Chilly Basil Chicken!

I had eaten Garlic Hakka Noodles
They had suggested us Basil Noodles which were very delicious. We loved the noodles quality so asked them which noodles they use and they said they ake the noodles on their own it is really a must try. The Gravy chicken lollipops are very very yummy and also the Chicken chilly.
Visiting this restaurant after so long bought back a lot of memories as I've been going here since childhood with my parents and they have been going here since the past 25years.
A must must go to place for food!!!
Absolutely loved the food. The noodles were the best!
This place is not so visible and doesn't look so "dining" place. But looks are deceptive! The food is great and host is amazing. I tried lollipop with gravy, chicken chilly and fried rice. Chef recommended basil rice, it had distinct aroma and delicious! He recommended noodles with gravy and soup but left for next visit.
I highly recommend this place, surely call for another visit.

Bessttt Chinese in the world
Authentic Chinese at a very reasonable price. It has a little shabby interior but the food is just awesome . Very limited menu rather 5 to 6 menu items available for serving. Everything is hand made from noodles to sauces. No artificial flavours used for preparation.

The best Chinese food in the world and these 2 brothers beat, the world's finest and best. They cook using authentic raw material, even make their own Noodles which are so light and tasty.
Although the place looks dirty surrounded by fresh chicken and mutton shops. Just ignore that, sit inside and order fresh. U will not regret !!!
If you haven't eaten Chinese here you haven't eaten good Chinese ever in your life. Once eaten at Peter Cook you will get addicted to their dishes and the taste. Full of aroma and our favorite is the flavoured rice and chicken lollypop in their special gravy.
