The first thing.. when we entered we were grated with a very warm welcome by the staff. Which many places lack. They have very polite and helpful staff. Food was amazing.. My partner is not a fan of sizzlers but here he just love it.
We ordered.
Threaded paneer - Which was goddam crispy and crunchy paneer was fresh. And the gravy served with it was superb.
Jalapeño cheese corn balls - The best I have had yet so far. I tried many places in Malad including lounges didn't appeal me as much as these did.
Chinese sizzler :- This was just amazing gravy fries manchurian noodles and rice. What else can you ask for. Rice fine and perfectly flavoured, thin noodles flavourful gravy soft as cloud melt in mouth manchurians and crispy fries. Not spicy not bland just the perfect taste.
Just less one star because the place is quite hard to find people usually get confused between the lane and not located perfectly on map.
Would suggest to use glowing board to display the name of the restaurant. It would be more easier to find out or locate.
Place is located near Kanakia cinemax.
It's not on main Road.
Food quality served is too good.
Staffs are also supportive.

Definitely a fine dine experience here: the food was great and the place was quite neat plus the staff was polite and prompt. Masala papad was awesome and the veg kebab was delicious.

The States serves the purpose of a family restaurant very aptly. I believe, the ambiance doesn't qualify to be a criterion of judging a family restaurant as the ultimate aim is to have some quality family time. They do have good music which doesn't really distort the conversation. The interiors are decent.
Our attendant for the dinner was Mr. Mirza Sabir Ali. He eased out the selection process with his inputs and made sure that everything is well in line with our requirements. Thumps up for his services!
The menu has enormous North Indian options.
We tried the following dishes -
"Paneer Ke Sholay" - the spices and the subtle presence of yoghurt, along with the side salad, gnarled our taste buds for good. It was marinated well but the paneer was slightly over cooked.
"Balti Saufiyan Baluchi Sabzi" - this dish is served in a bucket as, named. The veggies and the spices catalyzed the dish as a whole. This was indeed toothsome.
"Veg Haveli" - the uncanny fusion of paneer and cheese along with Indian spices filled us with wonderment. This is extremely filling and tastes delicious. Even the sizzling fragrance was enrapturing.
"Paneer Takatak" - this was ordinary and we weren't happy with the size of the portion.
Even the Naans and the Rotis served were roasted well. The restaurant seems to be very meticulous about the presentation and the taste. Also, there's no stagnation of oil which is gratifying.
4 stars!
P.s: most of the things are produced inhouse (eg - schezwan chutney) and everything in the menu is available in Jain as well.
The sizzlers I had were excellent.. quantity was also more than sufficient. The ambience is fabulous. I would definitely wish to recommend this restaurant to all............................
Very Delicious good and great ambience. The staff were very welcoming and services were right. I would say a best restaurant in Mira road to hangout with friends and Family. They have an outdoor seating as well. They have a good variety in food. I was there on my birthday with family, they played a nice birthday song while cutting the cake. Overall I enjoyed the place. It’s near to Cinemax or PVR cinema.
Easy to find and the ambience is decent as well. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Service was very nice. What we had :
Logan Kebab & Veggie Mix - Taste was nice but it felt a bit dry.
Paneer Takatak - Paneer was fresh and the gravy was spicy and tasty. Would highly recommend this.
Veg Crispy - Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way it should be and absolutely delicious as well..😋
Corn Malai Seek - Presentation was very good on this one, but disappointed in terms of taste. The flavour of cardamon was very overwhelming.
Paneer Khurchan - Soft chunks of paneer in a delicious red gravy which was nicely spiced.
Balti Saufiyan Deewani Subzi - Mix vegetables in a medium spicy gravy which was infused with the flavour of fennel seeds. Didn't live up to the name for us.
Roti ki Tokri (Butter) - An assortment of 5 types of Indian breads. Nothing special or anything to complain about here.
We visited today the States restaurant for the first time. Our experience was awesome. To begin with ambience, it was very innovative, pleasing and natural. This restaurant offers only vegetarian and Jain cuisine. Restaurant serves lunch, dinner beside catering to Birthday, Anniversary & Kitty parties. It offers great variety of innovative Indian cuisines which we really liked. Waiters are very polite and service is very fast. The owner Mr. Harshal owner of this restaurant personally seeks the feedback from patrons about the cuisines and the services. There is also Punjabi music playing in the background. There is enough parking space for few cars infront of this restaurant. This restaurant accepts payment by Credit Card, PAYTM and cash. One can also order food from here using Swiggy and Zomato. Restaurant timings are 11:30 AM to 12:00 midnight. Overall a decent restaurant to enjoy once Lunch and dinner with family.
The States is a Veg restaurant and trust me I have not liked a veg restaurant more lively and cozier than them. The ambience of this restaurant is just amazing. The food is also yum. They are Zomato Gold partned too. Overall the restaurant is great. I'd suggest you to have a visit here

I had ordered for The State's signature Sizzler. It was superb. Me and my wife both could not finish the entire sizzler. The paneer (5 different flavours) was awesome. Mushrooms were too good and for first time we had a sizzler with a concept of punjabi taste along with kulcha.
Ambience is nice with soft romantic music decently lit and comfortable spacious sitting. Overall very good experience 👍🏼
Amazing ambience and food! Really loved it. But the services were a bit slow even though there weren't much people. Good place for meet ups and enjoying. Would really appreciate and recommend this place!👍
The states is North Indian and Chinese vegetarian restaurant in Mira road. I was skeptical about it while entering the place. However, all the dishes were just awesome. We tried Hakka noodles, Veg Manchurian, Multani Mushrooms, Balti Sufiyan kofta kadhi and Jeera rice. Multani Mushrooms are highly recommended. Kadhi, wasn't very tasty. It was just fine. Also, it din't look like kadhi, it was more like a veg gravy.
