Hotel Makhdoomi Restaurant

One of those evenings when decided, 'chalo thoda experiment karte hai' and we scrolled way below we ever do on zomato.

We came across Hotel Makhdoomi and thought... this peculiar name was calling out to us.

The delivery was crazy quick!

Everything was wrapped in newspaper and when we opened them, we found the food in plastic bags. Now the quantity seems pretty less at first, but when we opened them, the quantity was enough for 2 people or 2 wholesome servings.

We ordered

Mutton Biryani - Fragrant Rice and a delicious and generous amount of masala and Mutton. The masala had more of an aachaari sourish salan type touch to it, but we enjoyed it.

Chicken Tawa - Shredder chicken in a green gravy with onions & capsicum... yummy! The chicken so very soft and masala blended well.

Only issue with the food was... there was quite a bit of oil... but it didn't affect the taste one bit.

Jeera rice & Dal - Fragrant jeera rice and a beautiful dark yellow orange Dal. A very homey taste.

Caramel Custard: When we opened the wrapping, it wasn't the most appealing, but we took a bite nonetheless. You can get a slight taste of kesar... but it tasted pretty good.

The closest decent food availavle around my office .... Its a typical small joint ...not air conditioned ...perpetually noisy ....not a place where family could sit and eat ....but all these negative aspects are taken care by the delicious food that they serve .....saying that its the most common place we call for food at workplace .... ...typical dabbha food which leaves a falvour back for you

very nice ordinary hotel... gives you the feeling of irani cafe... totally nice waiters... food is good... worth a visit but don’t expect a lot...
