It was one of the best place to chill out in bandra reclamation. The starters were good specially the cheese one. N the signature masala peanuts were as always a classic. I didn't have much food but drinks were good. N service was decent too

Made amidst a lot of residential buildings which can makes its charm even nicer.
On reaching we were told about the blend of Maharashtrian and South Indian food in their menu.

Started off by ordering a Tibetan Pahadi Maggi Thukpa. I must say I kind of reminisced the thukpa I had a Mc loedganj. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who visits this place.

We then ordered Andhra style fish and chips. The fish was batter fried with South Indian masalas and served with French fries and dip.

Next was the Tellicherry pepper chicken and Agri prawns served with lemon rice. The prawns with lemon rice was a delicious combination and the gravy of the prawns was really tasty.

For desserts we tried the rasgulla truffle with Irish cream and the flavour of the Irish baileys took a rather mundane rasgulla and rabri to another level.

You can definitely try this place out for a rather calm and quiet dinner when you just want to sit and talk avoiding the usual noisy places.

A one of a kind Indian Progressive Lounge, is making splashes at Bandra Reclamation. Serving Desi food witha modern twist is its USP. The ambience is uber cool, they have an indoor as well as outdoor seating, since we had visited around Christmas, it was all decorated in glitter. Coming to what we had:
*COCKTAILS*
1. Bull by the horn- we've had bourbon with whiskey, but this one is bourbon with white rum, brandy, and red bull, for someone who likes their drink to be strong
2. B'owled- sweet and a little sour, grapefruit with vodka and white wine
3. Noble potion- another bourbon cocktail, this one has white wine and Apple extract
4. Sweet harvest- white rum with sugarcane extract,a unique combination, one you should definitely try out

*SALAD*
Yellow style quinoa and vegetable salad- a yellow special, this one is a must-have, dressing is something hatke, that is, tangy aam chutney, a desi twist to a modearn salad
*APPETIZERS*
1. Jalapeno malai tikka- perfectly grilled tikkas served with mint chutney
2. Andhra style fish and chips- fish was soft as ever, one of the best that we've had, served with mint mayo and masala fries.
*MAINS*
1. Kashmiri lotus stem yakhni with khasta roti- tried this kashmiri dish for the first time and it was good specially liked the khasta rotis
2. Dilliwala butter chicken- Indian meal is incomplete without butter chicken, this one we had with hari mirch laccha paratha
*DESSERT*
Rasgulla truffle with Irish cream- desi rasgullas get a chocolaty makeover here, it was pure heaven..
All the drinks and dishes were presented very well, so full marks for presentation. And the best part is the taste was never compromised with the presentation. Full marks to 'And it was called yellow' team.

This bright and cheerful eatery, which exudes warmth, beckons you instantly. The seating is well-spaced out and the interiors, are tasteful, but simple. There is an outdoor seating section too. The attractive bar at one end, is hard-to-miss. The food menu is inventive and yet, evokes nostalgia, with popular Indian dishes from across the country, but with a modern twist. The 'Quinoa and Wild Mushroom Haleem', with earthy favours and a creamy texture, will make carnivores forget the original. The 'Black Rice Pesarattu' filled with pulled lamb in a coconut base with curry leaves, is a treat you cannot miss. The 'Rajasthani Lal Maas Kachori' is equally a delight for the palate. For mains, exciting options such as 'Dal Pakwan.

And it was called yellow”, the name looked interesting and attractive so decided to go for the women’s day lunch over here. As we entered the restaurant we were welcomed with a warm and sweet smile by Sonali and was escorted to our table, this is a casual dining restaurant with modern Indian food and is situated at Bandra Reclamation.

Their staff is very courteous with an excellent service.

For drinks we ordered for Rose sangria and Cosmopolitan and both tasted good and different. We didn’t wanted to stuff ourselves with regular mains so ordered for appetisers and they were Andhra style fish and chips – 4/5, Mulgapodi prawns – 4/5 and southern chicken – 3/5. And in the end Rasgulla truffle with Irish cream topped with crushed gems was heavenly – 5/5

Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

We went for dinner here on Tuesday and loved the place so much that we went back for lunch today. The moment you reach, you are ushered in with great warmth. The entire team is extremely welcoming and super friendly! Their smiling demeanour sets an extremely positive tone for your meal. Coming to the food, their forté is authentic Indian food served with a delightful modern twist! We tried the following dishes on our two visits: Rose Sangria, Charcoal Button Idlis, Greek Seekh, Mutton Boti with Feta, Litti Chokha, Khichdi & Ammi Jaan’s Mutton Curry with Rice. All the dishes that we have had till now have been impeccable in taste and presentation! The food is absolutely sumptuous and so nuanced in its flavour. All in all, this is a place which makes you want to keep coming back for more and more! Thanks to the entire team for such great dining experiences. Keep up the good work!

Starting from entering the restaurant Ms Sonali gave us a heart warming welcome with a sweet smile on her face and escorted us on our reserved table. We had been served a delicious food and our server Mr Abhishek and Mr Ningyar was so kind and polite they make sure that we have a good time. The ambience of the restaurant was very good especially because of the people serving the place. I should also appreciate the Chef who is behind the delicious food which was served and the bartender who made the Cheers 🍻 Drinks Kiddos to all you people.

'And It Was Called Yellow' is a resto bar with some brilliant ambience and located at Bandra Reclamation. The place boasts of wonderful appetizers and some really innovative desserts. We began our meal with Pomeco and Orange Mojito followed by some appetizing indulgences. Jalapeno Malai Tikka Tender and juicy Malai Tikkas are absolutely bursting with flavor and presented in a wonderful manner as you can see. Smothered in a marinade, these tikkas alongside jalapenos will surely rock your taste buds. Chicken and Cheese Loaded Mirchi The original favorite mirchi vada innovated into a splendid combination of chicken and cheese on every bite and served with ghati masala mayo. One of the best appetizers on offer. Panko Crusted Prawns Seasoned prawns coated with crispy panko crumbs to make the easiest, tastiest deep-fried prawns you had ever come across. The presentation is also quite unique and it comes along with mulgapodi and raita. Dilliwala Butter Chicken with Lachcha Paratha The ever delicious Laccha Paratha with Butter Chicken. A red gravy which is quite relishable. Loved it and tastes better with the lachcha. Chicken Matka Biryani Layered with rice, chicken and Indian spices with cashew nuts on top, this flavourful biryani turns out to be quite tasty. Rasgulla Truffle with Irish Cream Mouthwatering Rasgullas inside chocolate truffles dipped into Irish cream and giving you a delightful experience. An innovative and splendid dessert. Blueberry Double ka Meetha The ever favorite Shahi Tukda with a pinch of blueberry making the dessert extremely sweet. Sugar Tooth Alert!

Well, from the outside of the restaurant one would probably feel like an everyday joint and hence perhaps take this for granted. As you step it, things get calm, simple and the welcoming whites immediately strike a balance with the background music. Ample parking options since this is around the by lanes of Reclamation, Bandra West, Opp Lilavati Hospital. What would impress you the most is the menu, its creative names, and BANG, the taste and presentation…!! The menu is predominantly Indian cuisine, but with a lot of twists and soul…!! Trust me you will be nothing, but delighted. From simple plating, to cane boxes, to steel plates, to clay pots, to Tequilla shot dips glasses, and desserts immersed in Martini glasses you will find it all here. The spices, the Coriander, the Mustard, the black Rice, Rotis, Kebabs are all so well balanced in all those dishes. The cocktails and mocktails also have a great modern story and concoction (–) the molecular effects. We had tried the following along with family: ( ** Excellent go for it) Drinks: ▶Ana sassy – Recommended ** ▶B’Owled – Recommended ** ▶Sweet Harvest Soups ▶Classic Tomato Soup – Recommended ** ▶Chicken & Cheese – Recommended ** Salads, Starters, Mains, Desserts ▶Hara Moong Wadi Salad ▶Yellow Style Quinoa Salad – Recommended ** ▶Black Rice Pesarattu - – Recommended ** ▶Charcoal Button Idli ▶Jalapeno Malai Tikka ▶Quinoa & Wild Mushroom Veg Haleem – Recommended ** ▶Agri Prawns – Recommended ** ▶Rasgulla Truffle with Irish Cream – Recommended ** Highly recommend this outlet and a must-try. Great job to the entire FNB team and also the Management for shaping up such a beautiful elegant experience.

The flavour in the food at this place was top notch. The modern Indian cuisine is done fairly well. The only reason for a 4 star is that the food was quite heavy. Everything was more or less topped with cream. The ambience was quite nice and refreshing. The charcoal idlis & black dal will be my two top picks. The place has a single bathroom and so that is a bit of a pain

So I was out for lunch on a Sunday at a place, And I was Called Yellow. Based in Bandra west, this place is calm Casual Dining outlet. The service here is quite impressive with the friendly crew prompt with their hospitality with smile. To rehydrate ourselves from the terrifying hot Mumbai weather, we opted for Yellow Tonic. Combination of Aloe vera, Pineapple and basil does magic here and refreshingly good. We tried the coconut lime prawns soup, this creamy soup was one of the best I have tried till date. Panko Crusted Prawns, crispy prawns well presented but tasted okayish. Malvani Fritto Misto. This mix of Squid, fish and prawns in a medium spicy batter rava coated. Could have been better if it was spicy and the mango yogurt combination doesn't goes well here. Main Course comes to the rescue with Tellicherry Pepper chicken going well with the Neer Dosa. This gravy is must try. Talking about the desserts, Rasgulla Truffle with Irish Cream was something unique, really loved the irish cream. A fab dessert must be tried. Blueberry Double ka Meetha as the name says was too sweet and that doesn't go well with me. But overall, a wonderful dining experience at this place AND IT WAS CALLED YELLOW.

“And It Was Called Yellow” is a restaurant near Bandra Reclamation, serving great Modern Indian dishes with a twist. Coming to the food, we tried a lot of items, but to name a few of the highly recommended items to try are Pomeco – Slushy drink made of Pomegranate Yellow Style Quinoa & Vegetable Salad. Fresh and healthy start of the meal. Tasty and nutritious. Classic Tomato Soup – Super tasty tomato soup served with Channa chor gharam. Charcoal Button Idli – A different style of mini idli with Charcoal. The Greek Seekh – Super yummy Seekh kabab served in a very different style. Super soft and tasty. Andhra Style Fish & Chips – Deep-fried big size fish pieces with French Fries. Just perfect to along with your drinks. And do not forget to end your meal on a sweet note with Rasgulla Truffle with Irish Cream – Simply wow. Try it for yourself to know why this cannot be missed when you are “And It Was Called Yellow” The service should have been a little better, but the delicious food makes it up for the waiting time.

Simple and minimalistic decor. Loved the food here and the limited menu. This place has a good cosy vibe and lovely service. The serving portions are comparatively large and every dish has a twist while maintaining the authenticity of the original preparation.

And It Was Called Yellow - This is all about Joy Freshness, the Warmth Feel and comfort food. Situated at Reclamation (Bandra) Opened 3 weeks back, this place serves some good food. They are sure to get the Liquor Licence next week. Lovely Dining Experience authentic Indian Cuisine with a twist yet Indian. Started with the Creamy Rich Coconut Lime Soup - Lovely texture with a ting of lemon throughout, Diced chopped pieces of Prawns a bit of chilli to give the hit and balance the subtle creamy/coconut taste. Medium size fresh catch prawn as a garnish. Was good. Hara Moong Wadi salad - this was good. Tangy/Sweet/savoury this had it all. Home like Moong wadi gave that crunchiness to the salad. Salad leaves fresh with Tamarind Jaggery Dressing gave that Tangy/sweet taste. Yogurt balanced the flavours. Nice portion. At 245/+ it's a good dish. Jhalmuri Puchka Shots - Presented well. However when one relates to Jhalmuri it takes you to East of India and the spices and flavours - Missed the Punch. For me it was just a normal Pani puri. However the Puri was crispy and the Pani had the Spicy taste. Chef if you can just make this authentic would be great. Blue Cheese Naan - Presented in a small Sigri. 4 pieces of Fluffy Naan stuffed with a blend of Blue cheese/ Mozzarella to balance the sharpness of the blue cheese. A bit of spices and green chillies added to the flavour. The Greek Cheese - I did not have this . However the texture looked good. Presented well. Texture was rusty. Beetroot Seekh stuffed with Feta. This was served with a couple of shots and pomegranate dip. Maybe next time. Chicken & Cheese Mirchi Vada - Fried (no oil) this was good. Minced chicken with spices and chilli along with cheese stuffed inside the Bhavnagari chillies served with mayo dip which Thecha had mixed with it. 3 Hugh pieces which were enough. Minced chicken/Cheese went well. Something different. Skipped the mains - It was Curd Rice (Comfort food) made well served with Homemade pickle and papad. Balance of tadka. Overall nice. Dessert - Must have Rassogulla Truffle with Irish Cream - this was rich/creamy. Chocolate Rassogulla enhanced the dish. Their version of Irish cream was good. Not that sweet. Overall a lovely combination. Do try out. Overall - This place has a lot of potential. Do try the Kokum juice as well. Would have loved to try the Malvani Fritto misto/Tellicherry Pepper Chicken (maybe next time) Wish you guys the best.

As soon as you enter this place, you get such a warm and cozy feeling. Its not a huge place but just so warm and pretty. Not only is the place a win win, so is the food and service as well. We ordered for the Baked Litti for starters and I must say it is one of the best Littis I have had. The perfect balance of flavours with the authentic ghee and aloo chokha . Absolutely loved it. Then for the mains we had the Sindhi Curry, rice and Aloo Tuk. This was really good too, although I would have liked it even more had the curry been a bit more spicier. But that's just a personal choice 😉. For dessert we had the rasgulla with Irish cream and once again this was bang on, such a melt in the mouth experience. A must have😍. All in all I would definitely want to revisit and try the other dishes. Kudos to the polite staff and the wonderful prompt service.
