This place is simply amazing. It's a great option in case you want to hang out with your friends. The place is known for its beer options and it has a good food menu to go along as well. What what even better was the karaoke night which escalates the ambiance to a whole new level. Decor, seating arrangement, area and service are all superb. Highly recommended.
The Barge is one of my go to place in myosre to booze with my friends on weekday or weekend getaway .
Its a very fancy place and spacious enough it offers AC seating, outdoor seating , terrace seating, they also attract more of college going crowd and also does match screening
They have amazing brewed Beer,
though the restuarant is pricey ,but its worth the price we pay in terms of quantity and quality.

I was there in Mysore for a few months so had visited this place once. One can easily give a 5 star for its ambiance. Its a very spacious place. They brew their own beer . They serve their food in a quite very presentable way. The food tasted so so , I won't say it was delicious but it was good.
The Barge is definitely a good place to visit . I have visited serveral brew pubs and restaurants, But The Barge must be truly appreciate started it here at Mysore. The team has pulled it off so smoothly. The ambience and interiors are really great.They have an amusing menu and mind blowing starters including the 4 varieties of beer they offer. But one thing they have to work is over their chicken main course where the chicken was dry and wasn't really fresh. But this is a must place to visit in town and also don't forget to ask for the free taste of beers to choose the one you desire according to your taste. I wasn't asked or made aware about the free taste of beer they offer, so i ended up ordering my usual, the stout and ale.

The ambience is Marvelous. The price is totally worth. It is an amazing place to visit with your family and hangout with your friends.The servicing is okay and the presentation of the food is amazing. I have enjoyed and would recommend you to visit this place. If you're a food blogger then you must visit this place as their food presentation is fabulous. And also, they brew their own beer. They also have Zomato gold. So if you have a Zomato Gold then you must visit this place and try their different varieties of beers.

I would recommend you, not to try virgin colada ever. It's the worst of all. And I'm sorry for not posting most food items as We were very hungry, so we started eating as soon as the food was served.
Let me call it the Microbrewery barge , this place is just fantastic and they brew Thier own beer, the ambience, setup and layout of the place is perfected in every way.
The beers are great, i had the wheat beer - aroma and body of the beer was how it was supposed to be light and mildly cloudy.
Food i had chicken lollipop it was ok. The mocktails were great and Mac and cheese was the winner full of cheese and super creamy.
This is my second visit here and wouldn't mind giving it a try again when I come back to Mysore. Cheers
It’s one of the best places to chill in Mysore. There are a very few options available, but The Barge is an excellent place to hangout at.
The day I visited this place, there was karaoke going on. It was really fun listening to people sing Kannada songs mostly. They even have their own micro brewery. To top it they offer 2+2 on zomato gold.
We ordered French fries, hara bhara kebab, chicken tikka, chicken chilli garlic noodles, pasta-E-fungi and veg Szechuan Fried rice. Food was good, not great. But it was surely better than what I’d expected.
The staff here is real sweet, they stayed back till midnight ‘cause we requested them to do so, as it was one of our friend’s birthday. They kept the cake ready and politely waited for us to finish celebrating before they could lock up the place.
Anyone who visits Mysore, please do give this place a try.

We were 2 people and ordered 2 pitchers and 3 dishes which cost us around 2900. Rooftop is close but they have good space for dance and all, open environment is the plus point.
The ambience here is delightful, and although I've gone for lunch, this place will be truly enchanting at night. The pleasant melodies fill the air, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
Food was normal as expected and atmosphere is just awesome. We visited Friday and karaoke event was there on same day. We really enjoyed our time. Price is bit more compared to other 3*/4* hotels.
Around Mysore accessible to the ring road, this is the best brew pub. Beer tasted mild and good. Food was good except the chilli fish. They played some decent music and service was great and pretty quick. There's enough parking space outside the pub so it's not a hassle at all. Would recommend this place in Mysore if you are trying to spend time with your friends with some beer
Excellent ambiance, great service and food a revelation.
I loved it all. The beer fresh from the brew , pastas piping hot and melts in the mouth, chicken, each dish with its signature taste intact.
Will get back again on the next Mysore visit.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. The place has an open parking opposite to the restaurant. The outdoors seating was full so we took the indoor. Since the place was full it took little time to place the order. Service was quick and good. The taste and quality of food was also good. Their beer brew was top notch.. very refreshing.. we tried the wheat.. the outdoor seating allows guests to smoke. So if you don't want that smell then take the indoor.. it is a short drive from the GRS park.
Excellent place to get together, chat with family or whisper sweet nothing to your better half.
4 choices of craft beer and tasters are free :-) beer came with salted peanuts complimentary. The chicken tikka, dal tadka, and Kulchas were perfect. A bit on the spicy side but I'm sure they could tone it down if you asked. Oh and great music.
Edit 26/3/23: went for lunch today and it was extremely hot. No fans, no AC. No shade for car/scooter parking. Avoid daytime. Food and craft beer great as usual.

The best place to hangout with friends. Tried out some dishes and almost everything were good. A little expensive place. Service was a bit delayed.

The ambience was really good and the architecture was attractive The staff were friendly and they provided timely service.The food was satisfactory,but the craft beers were really good especially Bullionaire Golden lager and shipwrecker maverick stout beer were excellent. keep up the good work.
