The food was extra spicy as required for non vegetarian food. Had ordered Mutton Keema fry n another with gravy. The meat was fresh. Value for money.
A popular place in Mysore for the hard core non veggies! And deservedly so! I ordered the mutton pulav and chicken lollipop. The pulav flavor was outstanding! The gravy given along was also finger licking good! The chicken lollipop was excellently marinated and fried, crispy and tasty! The ambience, well not that great, but clean enough to sit and eat in peace. Overall, Excellent food, do try!

One Friday I wanted to have mutton very badly few months ago one of my cousin was talking about this place so I thought why not give a try and to my surprise I ended up having some good mutton fry with special ghee rice wherever I eat mutton even at home I don’t eat the fat part but here I had the fat part also precisely cooked tender mutton.
Even kheema balls are worth a try here.
Place lacks ambience but has very polite waiters and service is really quick

This place is most popular among men..so, obviously not recommended for family dining. We had food parcelled and I must say the biryani was delicious, chicken lollipop was crispy and tasty. Must try when in Mysuru, if not a visit.. parcel 😋😊
I've never stepped into this place, so cannot comment on the ambience. Seems like a place where a girl wouldn't want to go into.
But have had food parcelled from here many times. Their ghee rice is the-value-for-money dish I've come across. Its accompanied with a good and large portion of raitha and what we call the sherva. It serves one person to making him more than full for a mere 60 bucks which is totally worth it.

Located away from the humdrum of busy areas, Vaibhav is a very simple, unassuming, under publicized restaurant. The fact that i am the very first reviewer tells you how under-the-radar it is.
You enter the restaurant and find the old-school mosaic bench rickety seating, facing the kitchen counter. The menu has limited items and there are no printed copies, just a wall mounted board displaying the dozen odd items, all in Kannada. The interiors are functional and the prices on the menu board tell you that you aren't being charged a bomb in the name of fancy decor. If you are looking for a grand ambiance, fantastic locality and Maharaja seating, you may visit the Mysore Palace instead; Vaibhav isn't the place for you.
But if you, like me, are on a Biryani pilgrimage, visit this place and you won't be disappointed. Unique flavor, really underplayed seasoning unlike the hard-hitting varieties, but very impressive and satisfying. Even the free salan that they give along with the biryani is delicious.
If you are in Mysore, try this. They have tied up with a few delivery services and you could get the food at your doorstep too, anywhere in Mysore.
The 1st time I visited the place I didn't have a good experience. The mutton pieces were cold as if the yesterday's food kept in a fridge was reheated in the oven and served. But visited again in the afternoon after nearly 5 years and it was good! Tried the mutton biryani, Chicken biryani & Chicken lollipop and everything was very good & tasty!
It's a small place so it'll be crowded. There's seating area upstairs for family as well.
Prices are okay. They should increase the quantity for their high pricing

Very old hotel. The family can also be visited. Decent place, it's on the main road, cars and two wheelers can be parked outside. I visited this place alone. Had Khima balls, brain fry and chicken palav. The food was tasty and good. Khaima ball was little hard, but was getting good khaima aroma, Brain fry must try. Prices are also reasonable. Quantity n quality is also good.
One of only few places were biryani(palav) is available any time you go.. Regular non veg hotel which is in list of mysore legendry hotels. Always busy and full. I odered chicken biryani, mutton fry and kabab. Chicken palav (lucky we got hot batch 1) which was extraordinary were Chicken pieces were soft and had reserved masala in it must TRY.. Mutton fry was not upto mark and dint taste good. Kabab was too good with tender pieces and pudina Chilly green chutney. Do try here once an sure u will visit regular. average in maintaince and above above in taste wise.

The food here is amazing. Their mutton rice and chicken rice are very good. Other chicken and mutton items are also good. The atmosphere may not be that great, however it is made up by the taste and quick service.
Vaibhav is the most oldest restaurant in Mysore since somany decades, Not even a small percentage of changes in the taste of the food and the service have changed they are best. From mutton biriyani to veg starter. Persistently the best service and taste everyone should try it out here..

Tried Biryani/Pulav, leg soup and Keema ball curry.
Biryani was fantastic. Looks plain but, it has the right ingredients to taste.
Leg soup is good. Leg tastes good and soup is refreshing for the throat.
Kheema ball curry is delicious.
Biryani was the best of the lot. It's very rare to find biryani without masala yet tasty.
