The lauki chingri was spectacular. Sadly it seems to appear only rarely on their menu.
I visited this place so many times. I love bengali authentic foods. It was so delicious. Rastaurant is good for family. You can celebrate your birthday & others party, Chicken biryani was awesome & authentic taste remind me every time. I prefer this place go & have some great meals.
Went to this place with some of my friends. It's located inside Bango Bhawan. Nice clean ambience and courteous staff.
Food-
1. Ordered Fish Fry (Betki) - Good quantity and taste.
2. Veg Cutlet - Good Quantity and taste.
3. Chingri Masala - Good 6 King Size prawns with nice masala gravy. P.S. Don't order the Chingri Daab
4. Chicken Masala and Mutton Kassa - Amazing Taste.
Overall, the taste and quantity were superb. Good for a family outing. But I think some items like the Prawn Masala and Betki Fry were priced at the higher side.
Outstanding Bengali food!! Took my back tommy hometown. Very polite staff and extremely reasonable. FINALLY good Bengali food in delhi.
Comfort and perfect food at its best! Can keep going to this palace all the time. Discovered it long back and this place has to be my all time favourite.
One of the best place for Bangoli food at Banga bhavan
Was disappointed with there very famous rasogulla it was not up to mark and fish was nice
Ambiance was ok ok can be much better
Over all 4 out of 5 experience I had
Hey guys, so today I just visited this beautiful restaurant. The food was truly amazing, the ambiance was very cool, the staff was friendly. The food was pocket friendly and was truly amazing.
Amazing food, I am a foodie, legit this is the best place for any seafood and all food is fresh and good. Meat items are soft and really amazing. Will definitely recommend the food more than even oberoi s or any 5 star. The seating area isn’t fancy but the food is amazing.
We ordered the following with ratings for each:-
Special bengali thali -3.5 ( consisted of moong dal , mutton kasha , potato fritters, mustard fish wrapped in a banana leaf, papad ,plain rice and ghee bhaat/rice . A special mention to the chutney and mishti doi(sweet curd) .. that doi/dhai was just by itself a 5 star desert )
Baked rasogolla -5 ..the best in town .. not overly sweet .just perfect !
Favorite place for typical bengali dish... Fish items are awesome.. Specially fish fry... Special bengali thali as well as always al a cart menu are good.
I had the pleasure of dining at Bijoli Grill and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant is conveniently located inside Banga Bhawan and offers a taste of authentic Bengali cuisine.
The food they serve is absolutely delicious, with authentic Bengali flavors that truly satisfy your taste buds. Though some may find the prices to be a bit on the higher side, I believe that the quality and taste of the dishes make it worth every penny.
Overall, I highly recommend Bijoli Grill for anyone looking to indulge in delectable Bengali cuisine in a cozy setting.
If u have craving for Bengali foods must go there....❤️Chinese item also good
A perfect Bengali food experience. All the dishes tastes authentic. Would go here again. Highly recommended for all Probashi Bangali.
Good place for family dinners. Authentic Bengali Food. Little overpriced. Ambience is good.
Bengalees in Delhi who crave flavours from their hometown and don't have time to make it for themselves or don't want to toil the day away in the kitchen, head to Banga bhawan for a meal at Bijoli grill. Every non veg dish we tasted was delicious. We did not like the veg dishes so much but then the other dishes were soo good that they more than made up for it. We ordered a special thali and a veg thali. Other than that we order fish fry and prawn mochar chop. Looking forward to eating here again.
This place is heven for the Bengali foodie guys with wide Verity of menu you can scroll down to satisfy your tongue and tummy both, we have only ordered steem rice, aloo foolgobi sabji(dalna) and coconut prawns, food was good and but not great and service was worst. Please try to avoid on weekends since it's totally full and food quality will not that be great But on normal weeks days the food and service both are good.
If you are looking for authentic Bengal cuisine in Delhi then look no further & drop here at Bijoli Grill at Banga Bhavan. Amazing finger-licking Bengali food. Must try Special Bengali Thali. The only thing which needs to be taken care of is the service which is a little slow but the good food covers it all.
Love the cleanliness. Food quality also good. Must check out this restaurant and unique taste of the Bengali Non-veg food with very different dishes.
I feel it's a bit expensive, not for regular food taking. Must try once.
The food is absolute amazing and authentic! A little improvement is expected towards prompt service of the waiters. Also I personally felt the price to be a little expensive for the portion served. Overall the experience was good.
We ordered a couple of items off the menu
For starters we got the fish fry and hing kochuri with Cholar daal the items were freshly made and tasted good but the hing kochuri lacked a bit of the kick from “hing”.
Then we ordered the bashonti polao and Daak bungalow mutton. The mutton was tender and juicy,
fresh to taste and the curry sauce was delicious. To my surprise the mutton curry had 6 decent pieces of mutton and a whole egg as well.
The bashonti pulao is a must have. It had a great balance of sweet and salty and overall satiated our late afternoon hunger.
We also ordered the Aam poda shorbot and that was refreshing as well
The serving of the rice and mutton after the starters were more than enough for 3 people
Overall a it great meal with good service
Weekends are a little busy so you might have to wait for a table for about 20 mins but the food is definitely worth the wait.
