Poori is non oily which is lovely. Sabzi has a great balance of spices & heat & had an achari hint to it which was great. Needless to say, halwa was luscious & fulfilling
This is only place, whenever i went to Jama Masjid area, I always took special tea by adding for a while. Tourist Must visit once and taste special tea who seeking good veg food at jama masjid area. every sip of the tea will give them most satisfaction.

They serve two variety of tea, one is normal and the other is special tea. I had the normal one. It was tasty and blended fine
Shahi tukda on the other hand was really tasty and less sweet (i don't eat too much sweet ..sweet dish). So it was really smooth and well balanced. You could see ghee/oil floating but they won't get stick or make you feel like you are eating something really heavy!
Do try their shahi tukda. 😻

This is another place located in purani delhi serving a sweet delicay often known as shahi tukda and double ka meetha.
this dish is capable to get you addicted and quite cheap in price. thats for 30 bucks only.

the shahi tukda is quite different.. bread halwa with rabri.. one should try this.. and if one is fond of malai.. then have the tea here.. they have ample of malai for a tea cup :)
Shahi Tukda with Rabdi is a good dessert to end a hearty meal had elsewhere in the many famous restaurants in the vicinity. The dessert wasn't overly sweet nor was it too heavy. It was also priced correctly. The restaurant itself is rather small and their service rather lethargic.

Shahi Tukda and Rabri are great options for desert after the hearty meal at Karim. Located at the crowded streets of Jama Masjid. Shahi Tukda bread was soft and right amount of sweetness which was garnished with malai and dry fruits and cherries.

Superb 'Special Chaai'! Delicious Shahi Tukda. Space is little congested but the fabulous food items make the little inconvenience worth taking.
Shahi tukda is a mandatory desert if you are on a food trail in old Delhi.
Haji Tea point is right in front of Hama Masjid gate 1. We tried the shahi tukda, khajur shake and the special tea. Decent taste but nothing extraordinary. I guess all other similar places are pretty much same.
Haji Tea point is easily locatable, just opposite Jama Masjid.
This shop is a must visit for Khajoor Shake, Shahi tukda, Spl. Tea, Rabri.
Once you sip in the khajoor shake - its gives you a satisfied feel.
Overall I will rate this place 9/10
Very decent shop that serves delecious desserts, tea, lassi, firni etc. Shahi tukada was really amazing.
