Please be mindful of what you wear to a holy place. Wear something that covers your body and is not revealing at all. Gurudwara is always a place where everyone is suppose to cover their head with a piece of cloth at all times in the premises. Refrain from using mobile phones and talking inside the Gurudwara. The prashad is absolutely divine. Please don’t waste any. If you connect to the place I’m sure you’ll come back again and again.

This is one of the best places to have a soothing and soulful experience. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is one of the best places to visit in Delhi for people looking for peace and spirituality. It is so calm and peaceful that you can feel the spirituality in the air and completely connect with yourself.

It’s always very interesting knowing new cultures and religions, this place is very unique, out of all the temples I visited in this one no shoes but no socks either are allowed. The floor was very hot, except for the with tiles, the tour guide told us to step only on the white tiles. There is a tourist area where you can leave your shoes and you can can borrow a “bandana” type fabric that you have to use to Cover your hair. There’s a huge area with water where people take a bath. We had a tour to another area where food is served, you can see in my pics of the kitchen where everything is being prepared.

Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, nestled in the heart of Delhi near Patel Chowk and Rajiv Chowk metro stations, is a haven of spiritual tranquility. Beyond its significance as a revered Sikh religious site, it welcomes visitors of all faiths, providing a sanctuary for prayers and moments of introspection. The ease of access is notable, with the option to hire an auto from the nearby metro stations for a minimal fare of 20 rupees per person. This convenience enhances the accessibility of the Gurudwara, allowing individuals to embark on a spiritual journey with minimal logistical hurdles. Upon arrival, one is greeted by the serene atmosphere that permeates the surroundings. The devotional ambiance contributes to a sense of inner peace, fostering an environment where individuals can connect with their spiritual selves. The Gurudwara stands as a testament to inclusivity, inviting people from diverse backgrounds to experience its sacred embrace. The holy sarovar, a sacred water tank, adds to the sanctity of the place. Encircling the Gurudwara, it symbolizes purity and serves as a focal point for religious rituals and reflections. The shimmering water and the tranquility it exudes create a visual and spiritual spectacle that enhances the overall experience for visitors. The volunteer-driven langar, a community kitchen, further exemplifies the ethos of selfless service and equality in Sikhism. Anyone, regardless of their background, can partake in a simple and wholesome meal, fostering a sense of community and unity. In essence, a visit to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara transcends religious boundaries, offering a serene escape in the bustling city of Delhi. Its accessibility, devotional atmosphere, holy sarovar, and the spirit of selfless service make it a must-visit destination for those seeking solace and spiritual connection.

I recently visited the local Gurudwara, and it was a truly heartwarming experience. The peaceful ambiance, the harmonious kirtan (spiritual music), and the selfless service of the volunteers left a lasting impression. The langar (community kitchen) provided a delicious and wholesome meal, symbolizing the principles of equality and community. I was welcomed with open arms, and it was a reminder of the values of humility and compassion. The Gurudwara is a place of solace and spirituality, and I look forward to my next visit.

Changes in Gurudwara.✨ Some things have changed like you have to buy Prasad for Rs 10 or Rs 50.The Prasad worth Rs 10 and Rs 20 are of the same size but the size of Rs 50 is a little bigger. You can also spend extra money for this. There is no restriction as per your faith. This is the best thing about going here. They represent their community and the environment here is very good and there is very beautiful architecture on the walls. I just love it.💗 Highly recommended for foreign tourist.✌🏻

Very interesting experience. They will show you around the religious complex and also the kitchen and eating area, where free meals are provided 24 hours a day (up to 50.000). You will have to cover your head (provided) and wash your hands and feet before entering the actual religious site. In the end, they asked for a donation of 500 rupees for one person.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the best places to visit Delhi for people looking for peace and spirituality. It is so calm and peaceful that you can feel the spirituality in the air and totally connect with yourself. Everyone is helpful and kind. They serve free water and stores for keeping your footwear and langar. The hospitality is amazing, and I would love to visit here every time I am in Delhi
