Went to Plats for a late dinner scene. We had a booking so it was convenient for us (highly recommend to make a reservation cause it’s a busy joint). It has a very basic setting yet is very comfortable and great for a nice dinner date with your partner and even coming with your family. The food portion was good and a main would definitely fill up one person. Sadly on that day I had cold so my taste senses were a bit off but I still enjoyed what I ordered - pulled lamb steak. The dessert was really tasty and unique and had a lot of different flavours going on in it. Overall I’d definitely go there again when my nose is fine so I can taste the food properly 😇
Each and every dish was finger licking good! Haha.
This place has been on our list for over a year but I have been traveling and never got to it. I live right next to it so this time when I was in town, we went right away!
Luckily without reservation, we went at 9pm and waited only 30 mins (Wednesday)! There were people who came in group of 2 or 3 who didn’t have to wait so not bad!
My favorites were Cottage cheese steak and spinach and cheese ravioli! Rest well ordered were orechetto, broccoli charred, and truffle focaccia which were extremely yumm too!
We all also liked our drinks! Crimson haze, old fashioned, berry kombucha, lemonade.
Between crimson haze and old fashion, I liked crimson haze more! I’m a 100% whiskey and classic old fashion person but even though it was good, the haze was better!
We ordered tiramisu in the end which was ok. I’m a big fan of crepe cake and tiramisu. I liked the strong coffee flavor but it was not the best crepe (I have only had crepe cake once before in Lady M New York so the bench mark is high).
We paid 6500 in total for 4 of us which I think is great for this kind of place!
Overall highly recommend this place!!!
I’m sure everything on their menu is worth it.
Excellent food. Lamb burger is a must try. Their cold coffee is amazing - if you like a strong coffee flavour.
They have healthy options too. All their salads are great (I've tried many!).
Very inventive menu and it keeps updating and they have specials too so I'd suggest trying them all
Nice clean smart restaurant with very nice food and innovative to some extent. Dishes are definitely different from other restaurants, in a good way.
Service was good overall and seating was comfortable.
Around 5 vegetarian appetisers. But if you a veggie and also are allergic to mushrooms then the options are limited as almost half the dishes have mushrooms.
I put 4 stars for service coz the staff asked us to switch to a different table after 15 mins, which we refused to and they let us continue.
It’s a hidden gem in the lanes of Malviya Nagar. We had a yummyLicious gourmet experience at Plats. We met Jamshed who is is the chef and the owner of place greeted us with a smile and gave us his pick and we enjoyed every bite of each dish to the core!
Their menu consists of dishes from all over the world so you can get dishes from everywhere suiting your mood.
We ordered Shroom buns, Burrata stracciatelia , Korean Prawn stuffed chicken, spinach and artichoke Ravioli, slow cooked Belgian pork belly for the main course and passion fruit and vanilla Tres Leches, chocolate and hazelnut mousse for dessert. It was over all a very MASTERCHEF experience in every way… the food presentation, quantity, deliciousness, perfectly cooked each dish! Loved the entire experience. Jamshed, pl do open in Gurgaon too!!
My table ordered the charred broccoli, burrata with grilled grapes, corn croquettes, followed by the lemon cheesecake and tropical pana cotta, and it was absolutely delicious! We will definitely go back and highly recommend others to visit as well.
Plats Delhi, brainchild of Chefs Hanisha and Jamsheed. Both are chefs of amazing talent. You fall in love with the place the moment you get the food on your table, the plating, the taste everything is top notch. We had a great time and one dish that I really loved was smoked chilli grilled Prawns with Barley and corn risotto.
While watching masterchef, all the chefs talk about adding layers, texture to a dish and while having a meal at Plats I know how texture plays an important role. The place definitely needs multiple visit and I am sure visiting them again soon.
Had dinner at this medium size restaurant. Lots of diners on a Tuesday night testify to it's quality of food and Service.
The decor is fairly simple and stylish.
we had a few cocktails and beer amongst the 4 of us.
we ordered 2 small plates and then 2 larger plates followed by 2 desserts.
liver pate' buns , smoked pork and chorizo dumplings followed by Pan fried salmon, barbecue pork belly and then vanilla bean cheesecake, mi cuit au chocolat.
I would rate all dishes excellent. Small plates are actually quite small but shareable as starters for 2. Service is attentive, polite and brisk.
My third time and it was an amazing experience as always .
Their Wine list was very good and husband and I enjoyed a really good Cabernet Sauvignon.
Coming back with my girl gang very soon .
Thank you for the excellent service.
The staff are efficient and very polite .
Thank you
Small quaint suburban modern restaurant. However the food was outstanding. We could have been in Paris, London, New York or Sydney Australia!! Excellent presentation and lovely lively flavours!! Highly recommended
