Two visits to Jiva Veg over this week, on my journey to and from Shillong. Pleasantly surprised by the good quality food and service on both occasions. Nongpoh, which always has been the mid point for refreshments during all Shillong trips, can now boast of a very good restaurant with reasonable pricing.

It's a pure vegetarian restaurant just by the highway. The place is very clean and spacious. Also the restrooms are very clean. The food is good, the service is fast and also the staff are very friendly. Must visit place on your way to Shillong.

One must try their tea and coffee which is perfect. Staff is cooperative and friendly. Overall had a nice experience.

A good and safe place to eat😘Only veg food available and it is served fresh and hot, budget friendly too. Can't expect a better eatery in a place like Nongpoh other than Jiva Veg.

The service is fast and the place is squeaky clean. Nothing beats the smiles on the face of the staff. The feather on the cap is the scenic views from every table.

Decent restaurant with reasonable rates. Food is tasty. There is always a waiting of 10-15 minutes as it is a good restaurant. We had soup and Schezwan noodles. It was very good. You get dosas, deserts, indian food also.

I have never experienced a restaurant like Jiva in the entire north east. In every aspect Jiva Veg restaurant is outstanding. Their food quality, cleanliness, behavior of staff, super clean toilet and surrounded by scenic beauty make this restaurant a must visit place while travelling. We opted for milk tea, cheese masala dhosa, rice, alu dom and mixed veg. Every item was so delicious and delivered super quick with a smiling face. This is my top most recommended restaurant. There is lots of space for parking. You can also click some photos as the location is very beautiful.
The location of this place is right next to the Guwahati shillong road in the nongpho area, we went around 11am and there was rush, we had to book our table and wait for 10mins which was ok ,service was very fast, food was good as well, the ambience was also nice specially the garden area and the washroom was quite big,clean and nice. Overall a nice experience 😌
As you can see from the rating of this restaurant, it is one of the best . They serve pure vegetarian food. The food is delicious, service is fast, the staff is very professional and the washrooms are clean. We had jeera rice, matar paneer and dal makhani during this visit and the food was mouth watering.
Best Restaurant in Guwahati - Shillong Route incase you are a vegetarian! They have all areas covered from Breakfast to lunch till Dinner! Menu has varieties of options for every one's taste buds! We had Masala Dosa and Idli Sambhar for Breakfast. You will love the ambience and the clean environment there! 👍
First of all it's pure veg, with ample choices. The taste is good and the service too. Pricing is good, not too expensive. Their milk tea was the best, you could not get anything better than that in that range
