The place surprised us. On reaching we were bowled over by the lawns and beautiful wooden cottage. Their management was very welcoming and warm. No need to step out of 'Glyngarth' if your looking to relax and take in the weather and beauty of Ooty.

This place takes you to colonial era, this heritage villa has been restored painstakingly.Set amidst serene blue mountain s.in the southern india is unparalleled^ Queen of Hill Stations.Here, touching the heavenly clouds at about 7600 ft above sea level stands this magnificent GLYNGARTH VILLA surrounded by boundless tranquillity and splendour.This heritage Home was built in the year 1850 by Sir Walter Mounde in colonial style just outside ooty town 300 mts from the ooty golf club and has been home to many a rich and famous persons including our Late Prime Minister Pt Jawaharlal Nehru.
