Taste is good. Price is little bit more. We tried king fish tandoor in barbecue style, goan fish curry . Taste for both is very good
Very calm n beautiful ambience.. presentable food with very good taste. Staffs are polite, they customised our veg platter according to our choice of veggies.

Good place to have your food when you are in Palolem beach.
One of the very beautiful places in South Goa. We ordered cocktails one Pina Colado and one orange cocktail. We also ordered a chicken starter. The starters are of brilliant quality and the taste is mind-blowing. The view is beautiful. You can literally sit on the beach and have your food.
You can even have a candle light dinner at this place while star-gazing.
This is a simple looking shack among many others, and we happened to find it out of the blue. The food is good and the staff is polite. They extend the same service and courtesy to non-foreigners, a rather rare sighting in Goa.
Came across this place when they’d set up the sea food counter on the beach. One can select their choice of fish,crab or prawns and they’ll cook it with your choice of preparation. The seafood was fresh and prepared well. The seating was lovely with outdoor tables and candles lit on the sand. We got barbecued and tandoori pomfret which came with a salad and fries. I also ordered their prawn curry which was served with white rice. We came back again for their evening grill the next day. Loved the food.
It is a basic restaurant with tables set up near the beach.
We tried the seafood biryani (very good), mussels (in Goa spices - too spicy for us, would have tasted better in butter garlic), pomfret( from the fresh catch, it was cooked perfectly and served with salad and fries). The juice was not good.
Service was very good. Highly recommended!

Not looking so classy but a very nice shack in palolem. The waiters had been very amicable. Although the food delivery time after the order it a bit too long. So order early out here and have a bit of patience. The food was very good and you can relax on the shack with you feet under the sand while enjoying a drink and a burger.
We went here for dinner during my Goa visit. The table on the sand with candle light and a little extra illumination by moon, makes it a perfect place to chill with drinks and get lost in the beauty of the night.
They make tasty food and their drinks are upto the par. Service is a little slow but the food makes up for it. And it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket.

We went here for drinks during my visit to Goa last weekend. The view like all the beach shacks is great from here.. you can relax with drink just looking at the awesome view. Ordered for a couple of beers and only masala papad for starters as we were not hungry at all due to a heavy lunch. Service particularly was quite friendly and reasonably fast. Loved the relaxing ambience.

Food quality is top notch. All food is freshly prepared. This is easily the best restaurant in Palolem. Service is professional and polite. Cocktails are amazing. Vegetarian food is better than most pure veg restaurants.

Absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are always delicious and refreshing and a perfect fix for when you've spent too long in the heat of the day. We have returned to the Big Bamboo and it's like visiting family, every time we come back it feels like home. Palolem is beautiful and Big Bamboo is the perfect place to chill out, escape the heat and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail and the freshest seafood you will find.
Visited this place 1st time for the breakfast on 14/2/2021.
And I had one of the best breakfasts. We ordered masala chai, veg club sandwich, english breakfast and watermelon juice. Can say all were super yumm.
The service is very polite and on time though they have just opened the shack for the day.

Good food. Non veg starters were really tasty & fresh. Good service. Better than most highly rated places at Palolem taste wise.
We had dinner here 3 nights in a row as we loved the food and the hospitality so much. The prices are very reasonable, fresh fish which you can choose yourself and a great chef who knows his stuff and his customers!
Have been in this place few times, always loved it. Staff are friendly and food is good (most of the time )...
