Tea - Coffee and Snacks - these are what they are famous for - their Poha Bread is so so soft and samosa is surprisingly very little greasy. Very quick to serve and when you sit here it looks like old times are back.

A sort of institution, college canteen like ambience centrally located in Panaji and very busy. An assembly line ambience due to the fresh food and reasonable prices.

Well ventilated. Suggest you get a table by the large windows and watch people as you eat. Perfect for a rainy afternoon

The mirchi bhaji, samosas, wada are all good. The tea is a bit of a let down but passable.

To me, this seems to be the most reasonable veg snacks joint & most visited by locals, It has simple but good canteen like ambience which truely gives for a moment a goan feel. We wanted to have mushroom samosa but as it was out of preparation, went ahead for Goan Samosa, Buns & tea. Good preparation. Service is fast & the owner seeming person at counter happened to be polite. Outside board wrote Cafe Remanso also along with Cafe Aram. On enquiring, it came to notice that to old timers or in Portuguese time, it's known that way too & modern name is Cafe Aram. Truely speaking, its simple hospitality really gives one - Aram. I wish them to continue this way. We enjoyed snacks.

This place turned out to be our most favourite place for quick snacks, very quickly we made more than couple of visits, you must try their Puri Chhole, Pav Butter, Chai, Samosa and Hot Batata Vadas. Our first visit was in the evening around 4-4.30pm, perfect time for some Chai. They had just topped the Batata Vadas, Mirchi Bhaji and Samosas so we ordered some of them. All tasted amazing. We also loved their Pav Maska (Pav Butter), super tasty Pavs nicely coated with butter. They also prepare lovely Chai, they do ask if you want Special Chai, but I’d suggest go for the regular one. Special tea will be more thick in milk, folks who prefer thick tea can opt for it. Service is super quick here and the vibe gives you the likes of old Bombay! Beautiful ambience, great service and great food.

Old classic vibe. Always crowdy, just stop by for their bhajis and samosas. Ideal for breakfast. Popular with the locals

My experience with this place was really good . Loved the thickness of the bhaji here which is pretty rare to find around as people around make it a lot watery . Even though the place looks a bit off do give it a try . It was totally worth it .

Lovely place to have typical Hindu Goan snacks such as batata wada, bhaji pao, mirchi. The sangam bhaji is superb. Great chai as well. A stone's throw away from Panjim church.

A hunt for some sustainable lunch options around Altinho led me to this quaint little canteen-like set up. I reached at a time when they were shutting shop mid-day (they operate 2 shifts - one in the morning from around 9am to Noon and the other in the evening from around 4-7pm) and most of the items offered for the day were over. However, the manager was sweet to let me know that they have some cashew vegetable curry left which I can have with pao (bread) and I jumped at the chance. Trust me, that was one of the finest plates of bhaaji-pao I've had so far here in Goa, with just the right consistency yet rich flavour of the coconut and cashew gravy. Absolutely amazing! What's more - the set up reminded me of the old canteens in the schools and offices of Mumbai - simple tables with chairs and an affordable menu of fast moving items from poha to kurma bhajji to samosas with cha (tea) or kaphi (coffee). I enjoyed it - I'm quite a retro foodie that way 😁 If you're a tourist on a budget, then after your shopping spree in Panjim, this is your answer to the tapris/gallas/laaris you might be used to in your hometown. Mast hai!!

This is a restaurant which dates back to historical times and a place where even Late Hon. Manohar Parrikar used to snack. Do ask specifically for Goan Samosa, else you shall be served with punjabi samosas. Ask specifically if you need Pao with it Batata wada, Mix Bhaaji Pao and Chaa are a must. Evenings and mornings are crowded and you may need to share your table if you are alone. Rates are damn cheap even today. No parking available. Though limited pay and park is available along 18 june road...but success there is luck during peak time.

Aram kara… cha is good… Goan Samosa is also good. Bhaji needs improvement as it’s yes nostalgic but competition is having better. But this bhaji does not gives you stomach full and acidity feeling which most hotels bhaji does.

This is the best cafe I have ever visited! Simple, basic, no-fancy stuff, amazing taste, and amazing people. Must visit (preferably in the mornings). Food: (5/5) Simply amazing, I have tried almost all the menu items over several visits. Ambiance: (5/5) Very basic and down-to-earth setup, this is not something like Cafe Peter or something. Location: (5/5) Right in the heart of Panji, on the famous 18th June road. This is the perfect location for such a cafe!
