This place lives up to its high ratings… The entry was not straight forward but it wasn’t much confusing. People at the cafe were very welcoming. We ordered butter garlic prawns and chicken skewers. The food tasted really good. Good vibe.. must visit..
Had really nice good quality time in Mel whisks gastro bar. Place is really happening on a Friday or a Saturday night. After 9pm no place to sit/ or stand.
I really like the live karaoke with nice English songs, though I never heard some of the songs they were singing
Food is ultimate with the drinks, it was going well, staff are really good n polite even in that huge crowd
Mel Whisks resides at Heritage Town in the main city. The gastro bar is very much near to Rock beach as well. It is a rooftop restaurant and has a very cool vibe. The decor is lively. It is mostly filled with young crowd. There are different fun events happening every other day. When we visited, there was a live performance. The food is really good. Vegetarian options are great too. They serve alcohol as well. At night, it looks amazing. Must must visit! :)
The ambience was really nice. It was a full house that night and there was a live karaoke show.
I booked for a reservation through Zomato but my Zomato booking got cancelled but when we went there and waited for a while they were able to accommodate us. The service was also really good so 5 stars for the service.
The food was good, we had chicken skewers and fish fingers in starters and they were both really good.
We also had a chicken pizza which was also good and the size was enough for 3 (females with a small appetite).
Located in an accessible spot in Pondy, Mel Whisks does whisk you off your feet with its Goa like vibes, fabulous finger food even fr vegetarians, refreshing drinks, tea totalers including and live peppy music that pushes you to an evening of awesomeness!
PS: I loved the paneer fingers as much as I loved how they weren’t ageist about the staff they had employed! Bravo!!
We went there on saturday 2 december at 7pm. A singer was there to entertain. Friendly welcome and food is good. Try the Burger !!

Those are just amazing.
We've had peri peri pizza, beef tenderloin steak, chicken steak, chicken chips, spicy prawns, fish fingers, panner fingers, baby corn, chicken Alfredo pasta, veg penne pasta ( pink sauce), honey chill wings, french fries, Margherita, Pina colada and a few drinks.
Except for their beef, everything tasted sooo good. Loved their veggies and mashed potatoes with the steak.
Beef felt a bit old meat, tooo cheewy. And we finished with blueberry and strawberry Panna cotta. Everything is so lovely, the owners are warm and friendly, except for that one old waiter who was a lil grumpy.. it's a must visit one
I recently visited Mel Whisks on an Friday evening with my friends and I don’t know where to start telling you about the place. The place has got an amazing evening vibe with foreigners, tourists and localites altogether enjoying the live music. The dim lighting sets the mood well for such an evening and we jumped to the drinks right after we got seated. There’s some amazing food for you to accompany the drinks and it is well presented too. The only thing that I felt the place was lacking at is the space. I saw people going back because the place was all filled and so many people want to get in.
The staff was amazing in terms of hospitality and service. My special thanks to the owners Ayush and Rhea who were there all evening long to take care of everyone and creating a memory for us. Thanks you for an amazing time.
I recently visited Mel Whisks and fell absolutely in love with the Vibe. The place had standard seating with a breezy rooftop ambience. They serve absolutely scrumptious food along with good hospitality. Cherry on top would be the live music. Totally going to visit again.
Awesome food, the chicken steak freaking juicy and fish and chips tasted so fresh hands down 5star for serving such quality food
