Was on a one day trip to Pune, to visit the Dagduseth Ganpati and try the classy food at Pune. After having a long day, all tired I finally arrived at Mastani house. It was time to end the hot day with some awesum desserts and leave for Mumbai.
Ambience: As soon as I entered the Mastani house I took first table next to the door. I gave the order and then realised I was sweating. There was just one ceiling fan in the centre of the room and that too was in stopped state. There was a standing floor fan which was engaged on an another customer. Finally I moved to another table outside the door, and it was suprisingly cool and breezy ouside. The table outside actually lit up my mood.
Food: We had ordered Gulkand mastani and Spl. Malai kulfi. The order came without a lot of delay even though the place seemed to have a good amount of customers. Gulkand mastani was some thick and slightly rose flavoured milk, some concentrated unevenly stirred gulkand at the bottom and a large vanilla icecream scoop garnished with a cherry at the top. The first sip was heaven. The milk was really thick(icy) and consistent. Moving the straw deeper into the glass gave a lot stronger flavour of gulkand. With an already full stomach it felt slightly heavy, but overall was a delicious experience .
The Spl Malai kulfi was garnished with a bit of dry fruits and tasted comparatively better than other malai kulfi's I had tried before. It seemed and tasted as if it was freshly prepared.
I left the Mastani house satisfied with taste and stomach full of deserts. They can do a bit well with the ambience inside the house, especially the cooling arrangements and customer attendance/staff. The menu and taste is already fantastic and satisfactory.
This place serves deserts for a decent price range especially if your in the mood for a faluda.
I would recommend the Faluda Ice-cream and Mango Faluda.

The service is quick and people are very nice and polite.They have small amount of people to serve but they can do the work very fast.They suggested us few best flavours of mastani and icecream.The owner is also a great guy.

The ambience they created was very healthy.They have hanged many photos of various mastani on their walls.The interior is simple but it feels very nice to sit and hangout.The lighting is quiet good on ground floor but on its top sitting the lighting is moderate.

The mastani that i had was the BAJIRAO MASTANI.The mastani was super delicious and it melts in my mouth very quickly.The presentation of the mastani was impressive.
The icecream was also luscious.The icream i had was the pista icecream.The icecream had a rich flavour of pista in it.
Loved the Ice cream faluda here!! Must try it at least once!! A perfect blend of different flavors and also offers quite a large variety of stuff!
Always a big fan of Bajirao Mastani here. Mastani deserves its name its Royal & awsmm. Perfect place for sme good varieties of Mastanis & ice-cream.
Situated beside city pride Satara road very easily accessible. They have variates of mastani, faluda and icecreams. Have normal and up stair sitting. Service is not up to mark and taste is good, must try Mastani and faluda. Great place to hangout after movie :p
It was my first experience trying a mastani. I tried the mango flavor and I just loved it! The smooth creamy texture served with a scoop of vanilla icecream was like a cherry on the top. The flavorful beverage was phenomenal. Along with it we tried their special badshahi falooda which had kulfi in it. I honestly did not like it much(hence a star less). And the other special, dry fruit falooda, as the name says was loaded with dry fruits. Overall it was a good experience. Clean place, parking space available, can be easily located. Would recommend .
It's a nice place with sufficient seating,making it particularly convenient for families. They don't have their own car parking,which can be a hassle during daytime. However, if you go later in the evening or at night, parking should not be an issue as you will easily find it on Market Yard road. They have a wide range of mastanis to choose from. Overall, I would recommend this place.
one of the best mastani in pune city, not just like an thick milkshake and ice cream on top, these people really respect there work and keep the place clean , mastani is very classic and delicious, fresh ice-cream, not much preserved as others, try out bajirao mastani for 60 rupees almost an dollar , thats and nice piece and meaning of an taste. kulfies are wonderfully serve, seating arrangements are great, outdoor chairs are available and its an duplex sittings for customers but does not accept any card or any phone or online transactions, these people also have some parking space for bikes which is exactly touch to the main road, check out the prices of mastani and other drinks and ice cream i posted below.

They have a huge range of faluda, icecreams, mastani and many more. I'd tried royal faluda it comes with vanilla icecream and dry fruits
Mastani is awesome here. clean and well managed place. Many flavours and all are best .
Not upto the mark but ok. Not anything different or unique, just another mastani house. You can see a lot of variety on menu but i dont think it would be anything so different. I had a Bajirao Mastani.
I tasted my first masthani here. Masthanis starts at ₹70. The basic masthani is named as Bajirao masthani. It's good but it's a one tym wonder.
Gujar Mastani House is quite an old name in the business of Mastani. It's located on Pune Satara road and has very good mastani. They also offer other ice cream varieties, but best is mastani. Four wheeler parking is not with them but can be parked on roadside by observing parking dates. Do visit and enjoy.
