In a busy day we were looking for good north india food for dinner and i think we got the right place. Dal makhni, butter naan, lassi, kadhi pakoda all is just awsm. And when you are done with the food lassi is the best to have and to digest the salt :)

A must visit in Pune if you are a foodie! A little but amazing restaurant which has made sure to deliver quality every time. I have been there numerous times and have never been disappointed.

Hotel California is like a second home to me!! I frequent here a lot to have the Kadhi Chawal which never fails to put my craving away. And the DGB is a must have for me Everytime.Friendly staff and I like the feels of the place too!!
The restaurant serves authentic Punjabi taste food. We love to order regularly from here. Dal Makhani, DGB are brilliant.
Though I feel lately the food taste has changed. It feels a bit too spicy in last few orders. Restaurant should focus to maintain the quality.

There is no AC there and space is too small, so I normally order food.
This place should be on everyone's list of joints to get food delivered from.
They don't have many options on the menu but what they do serve will never disappoint.

Don't judge the place on the basis of location. Had tried dal makhani n trust me it's the best dal makhani I had in Pune. The service is good, so are the people serving there. Must give a visit to enjoy the yummy food at reasonable price. :)

Delicious and value for money Punjabi food. Every thing they offer is above average when it comes to taste and quality. Lassi and Kadi chawal are exceptionally good. Seating is bit cramped so won't recommend for more than 4 people. Also no air-conditioning also. They also provide take away with parteners like swiggy and foodpanda

Food quality is very good.
Staff is very professional,friendly and young.I have taken dinner as well as take away at this place several times and I found no deviation in quality of food and their services. They are really good at what they are doing and one can see that in their service and food quality.
The quality of food is good but from last few weeks may be due to change in staff the food has lost its original taste. Or else I loved the place. Very economical place. And the owner/staff is also good and friendly.
Authentic Panjabi taste, it is famous for chole kulcha and stuffed parathas. Ambience is not much good but its okay justified with its good taste, economical price and happening music. Nice north indian bread/ parathas options available.
Worth visit it
It's simple but good restaurant. Ambience is dull and food menu has limited items, but that's good in its segment. Roti and Lachcha Paratha are made of whole wheat and not maida. Malai Lassi is amazing with loads of Malai. It's a must try if you visit this restaurant.
Good and authentic Punjabi taste you will not get in Shetty restaurant. You will want to visit more often. Forget about Ambiance just taste the food.
I ordered food from here countless time. I failed to get a single bad experience:P these guys are awesome.. quality food, cool environment, open friendly staff who loves to customise according to your genuine request. Dil khol ke Khana banate h... and gives you good value for your money 💴

I visited 'Hotel California' with a friend who stays in Pimple Saudagar. The name strikes a chord with a famous number from Eagles and so I had a perception that it must be a continental, trendy, hip-hop place, but was taken aback by a cute surprise when I found out that it was actually a Punjabi restaurant.
A very small comfy place but three cheers for their food and service quality. I received the fastest service experience at Hotel California, where food was served in less than five minutes after we entered the restaurant.
Food is very reasonable and one ought to try their combos viz. Lacchaa Parantha, Kulcha and Rice combos. This is only place on Earth where I have seen an item called 'Lassi Pitcher'. :P :P
The Rabdi Kheer served here is also their specialty. Do visit if you happen to be around Pimple Saudagar !!
