This is place is very pocket frndly and you get Super delicious starters and main course ...WTH the best cheese toppings I have ever had . This place is just opposite Victory theatre in camp. We celebrated my moms 40th birthday
The place was amazing liked the family section, they have a smaller AC section but that's quite small for 8/10 seating but the open area is spacious it has a beautiful waterfall fountain in between the resto. Ambience is good. Food they serve are delicious in non vegetarian dishes. The rates are affordable and reasonable according to the restaurant. But the quantity is less so do work on it guys rest the staff were very kind and helpful. Overall recommended place to dine with your friends or family!
Excellent food , ambience average to >average , bad service. Took very long to serve us the food but very delicious dishes chicken sarangi was very good.
Visited this place in the evening.It's a restruant and bar one of my favorite restruants in town.We ordered :
Chicken Crispy: it was crisp and delicious and the quantity was great.
Kofta Sanj Savera: the quantity was good but it was basically paneer kofta in cashew gravy and very okayish to taste.The quality was good though.You can request them to make it a bit spicy.
Mutton Kolhapuri Handi: it was exactly as it should be enough for three people.
Some butter rotis and jeera rice to go with.
Over all a good experience as always.Staff is very polite here.

Awesome place in e street area to have drinks and dinner with family. Kids also are comfortable here. Service is super quick even On a busy day. Veg platter is recommended as its quantity is good. Drinks are also light on pocket. Veg clear soup was also nicely done.

What a wonderful evening here at Sarangi on East Street. Stumbled by this place accidentally and came back pleasantly satisfied and surprised. Located on the left side of East Street very near to Kayani Bakery, this place is very accessible.
We ordered Tokri Kabab (Chicken Kabab with Cheese served wrapped in aluminium foil), Murg Fatehpuri Kabab (it is a speciality here and highly recommended if you are looking for something non-spicy), Prawns Manglorean Fry (spicy stuff but quite good), CCP (the usual cheese cherry and 🍍) and Chicken Dum Biryani (disappointed eith the oily stuff on offer, can be much better). We paired up with Bira, Budweiser, KF Ultra , Flaming Tequila shots and Signature whisky.
Ambience is surprisingly good and so is the service. A special word of appreciation for our host of the day, Mr. Krishna who made sure that we had a wonderful experience. Items are quite reasonably priced and that is a big plus, especially on East Street. However, the disappointing biryani is a big let down keeping in view the competitors in this area. But, overall, a visit is definitely recommended.

Sarangi no need for introduction . Cause it's one of the old place with cool ambience in camp and serving good indian food over the years .
The most important part about this hotel is they are serving in afternoon post 4pm. About food .
It was our late afternoon plan cause of our one friend who is meeting us from a long time. So we order beera beer and as starter veg crispy indian . Yes it's indian tadka over a crispy was awesome in taste . Highly recommend here in starter . And 2nd dish was French fries . Many hotels use frozen fries but here u can get handmade fries which taste again bang on target . For a quick snack over the drinks it's gr8 deal. Over all excellent experience.

पेरी पेरी किंवा पिरि पिरि हे नाव पहिल्यांदा nando ज च्या chain मध्ये ऐकले होते आता इंडिया मध्ये ह्या प्रकारच्या मिरचीचा वापर व्हायला लागलाय.. चिकन पेरी पेरी एक अतिशय झणझणीत चिकन डिश आहे , सगळ्यांना झेपणार नाही पण ज्यांना spicy खायची सवय आहे त्यांनी हमखास खाऊन बघावी अशीच !#recommended

I very much like the concept of vintage places whether it is a historical place or having a fine dinner.
So this restaurant establishled in 1987 is located next to Kayani bakery and main road obviously.
The seating here is both indoor and outdoor (smoking),with indoor seating very causal and sophisticated and outdoor seating is something to grab an attention. Remember during our childhood we had those hand woven chairs, this is exactly what their chairs are like and maintained as well.
What did I order?
Masala papad- it was not something very special as I have tried salt many places and taste was same @40
Tomato basil soup - Served with bread crumbs I just did not find it hot enough as after 5 min it was not warm but nailed with the taste @120
Manchow Soup - served with white noodles and again it had the same problem but tasted good @120
Hara bhara kebab - served with crispy coriander and green peas it tasted amazing, prepared very well and crispy @270
Crispy potato- dressed in between vegetables, potatoes were hot and the taste can also be appreciated @230
Veg Noodles - we asked them to prepare them without any spice and with vegetables and they did that very well, beautifully presented and served @230
Kofta Sanj Savera - I tried first time any kofta like this and yes if they are prepared this way then I am going to order it again,paneer stuffed kofta, extremely soft and tasted very unique with the curry @290
Paneer Pasanda - it was recommended by them as their speciality, curry was yum, very less oily, paneer pieces in optimum quantity @300
Butter roti - crispy and soft @35
Butter missi roti - very soft and tasted good @50
Will I pay a visit again?
Definitely yes!

Prime location, famous, and a vintage feel. The seating arrangement, furniture, Hut like roof, service, Hindi music, food, and way drinks are served took me back in time. The rustic and nostalgic feel. 650 ml Beer bottle served with free starters. Food is North Indian and kebabs. Matka kebab is special. I ordered chicken matka kebab and it taste good as chicken pieces were tender and normal spicey. Good service. All indoor seating but was ideal for drinking, there are separate family section. not noisy.
Loved the atmosphere there. The lights, the furniture, the antique accessories. Everything was just too beautiful.
Especially the cleanliness and hygiene is remarkable. Sanitary Pads were kept in the women's washroom which many restaurants don't even care about. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is searching for good food and atmosphere
The ambience in the main part of the restaurant is really unique, set off especially by the dark wood, the castle-like stone, the lighting, and the raised central area. My late lunch of sauteed vegetables was outstanding, done to my special order of using olive oil rather than refined. The lime water, though, was just average.
Also appreciated: the excellent service, the low-key music allowing conversations to be heard, and the lovely clean rest room.
I definitely think this place should have a higher rating than its current 3.9.
Sarangi is one of the old restaurants in Pune and located opposite to Victory theatre in East Street.I visited Sarangi Restaurant yesterday for a first time. I would like to recommend them for there quality, hygienic and pocket friend food. The overall ambiance and the food taste was very good and it fulfills all your need as they have a huge spread of menu.
This restaurant is one of the well know restaurants in camp area. The restaurant has good ambiance and it is also well maintained.
Food is quite good but not all dishes also i felt more dish are sweet based instead of spicy.
The staff are good and are very supportive.
Over all a good place to have meal with family and friends.
Good Restaurant and easily accessible from main road. The speciality is Biryani. You will enjoy the rice quality in veg or nonveg Biryani. Also you get liquor in same place. Generally afternoon are quiet hours at this place.
There is a big screen where one can enjoy cricket match and other sports. I will say 5 star except few waiters which are little rude for other staff are really good.

It is best place, interior is oldest. Vintage look, fountain at the center gives coolest vibes and feels so 😌 relax. Food is awesome, service is good.

Sarangi is a good option in Camp area for drinks and food. Although they don't have pitcher and tower options for beer, they do have the regular-sized bottles.
This restaurant dates back to 1987 and is located opposite to the Victory Theatre. Everything, starting from the decor of the sitting area, the open aquarium to the staff uniforms gives the traditional Indian vibes here. Thankfully there's no music, so you can socialize your hearts out.
We had beers and for starters ordered the non-veg platter and paneer. Egg curry with jeera rice, rotis and chicken biryani were all tasty. Service was prompt and the staff generously obliged to our repeats on complimentary snacks.
Went to this place for dinner. Ordered chicken tokri kebab, Garlic roti and paneer tikka masala.
Chicken tokri taste was unique and best. We got 8 pieces for Rs. 320. It is a must try. Paneer tikka masala taste was "okay". Garlic roti was awesome.
Restaurant ambience is good, very much satisfied with staff. It's a good place to chill out with friends.
