Tangy Affair was on my wish list for a long time! I had gone there for dinner with my family. Car parking on the busy ITI Road is difficult & during weekend evening, it just adds more frustration! This restaurant is on the 4th floor of Ozone Mall, above Crossword. The ambiance of the restaurant is very good with enough space between tables. We had started with Lemon Coriander Soup (Lemon & piquant coriander with exotic veggies). The soup was good, a tangy one! A bit more flavour of lemon would have enhanced this soup as a signature soup. In the Starters we had ordered French Fries, Chili Potato (The versatile dish of stir fried potatoes with ginger, garlic, green chillies & yogurt) & Cheese Chili Fritters (Combination of corn, onion, cheese & chilli). French Fries were, as usual, good & crunchy. Chilli Potato was good in taste surprisingly, it was not crispy! Cheese Chili Fritters were very good & yummy. The mixed flavour of cheese, chilli, onion & corn was awesome! Since the starters were quite filling, hence we had ordered Burnt Chili Garlic Fried Rice & Veg Manchurian with gravy (A delicious Indian Chinese Recipe made from cabbage, carrot & other fresh vegetables) only in the Main Course. Along with the food we just wanted to taste their Mocktail offering so we had also asked for Strawberry Delight (Refreshing virgin strawberry pineapple juice, ice cream & coconut cream). Burnt Chili Garlic Fried Rice & Veg Manchurian with gravy both were very good & yummy, especially I liked Burnt Chili Garlic Fried rice very much! The flavour of burnt, Chili, Garlic with small rice was quite prominent. Strawberry Delight, although good & refreshing, but on the sweet side! Their service was quite slow & they have realized it! They did apologize for the same along with the complementary desserts. I really appreciate this gesture. In the complementary desserts, Beetroot Halwa & Gulab Jamun were served to us. Both were good & yum! I liked Beetroot Halwa very much, it was on, the less sweet side, mixed with dry fruits, unique & delicious one! Overall I was satisfied with the food. Their staff was good & courteous! Cost wise, it’s reasonable! They do levy service charges!
