Perfect place for Maharashtrian dishes. I have been visiting this place since past 5 years.
This place has become our favourite destination whenever we visit Pune... A place which makes you feel at home though away from home.. This time tried Kaju Usal...the taste was ok...but had enjoyed Karela fry tremendously during my last visit....Also Ukadiche modak is always cherished and speciality of the place during Ganesh Chaturti... I would recommend this place to all at least once......
Finally blessed with first rain of monsoon and as rule of thumb of being true Maharashtrian- started searching for Kanda bhaji😛 and did I find what I was looking you ask? Yesssss I did🙆 Soham dining hall- It's what we call actually a homemade food- every dish reminds of home and the way it used to smell.... Menu is pretty decent, and most importantly Veg Only...they serves mostly Maharashtrian dishes with all those legendary forgotten ones e.g. kelfulachi bhaji🙄🙃... We had Kanda bhaji, mirchi bhaji, paratha, flower bhurji 😋 Every dish is scrumptious and every bit of heaven... They do have wide Verity of typical Maharashtrian desserts from basundi, shewaya kheer, halawa, gulpoli, modak to aamras... The best part is it's on highly affordable side with every bite takes you on memory lane... Proud to see a woman entrepreneur running this quite successfully 🙆
A highly highly recommended one
Perfect place for family dinning. The food just can't be compared with other restaurants, it has maintained the maharastrian taste and dishes in this modern world. The restaurant is very clean and hygienic.
Must a visit place for authentic maharashtrian cuisine. Located on the JM Road. Even though it’s on one of the busiest roads of Pune, you will get ample space for four wheeler and two wheeler parking inside their premises.
If you want to experience authentic cusine of Maharashtra, this is a perfect place. All dishes served here are the best but to specifically name few try khawa poli and Ukadiche Modak. Its stumptous. Special thali, masala bhat are other recommended optons. I'll recommended this place as a must visit place ..
As you can see in the photo, I couldn't resist the 1st bite when I received my food. So, I was wandering Pune streets during ganpati visarjan miravnuk and was hungry.
I found this place on JM road-
1. It was open during visarjan
2. It was pure maharashtrian
3. They had pithal and bharit in their menu
Both dishes had a home-made taste.
As it was special occasion we even ordered shrikhand to complete our maharashtrian food craving.
You can have a simple and tasty meal over here with very low charges.
Must visit for a Marathi food hunger.
Really good place to have pure authentic puneri food. And the staff is really polite and quick. Should visit this place often. Open front decor
Simple home made food at the heart of the city. Good food , very very authentic Maharashtrian cuisine served here. The puran poli loaded with ghee is sure to take ur heart away. The karela bhaji, pitla, bhakri, basundi are to die for. Order with kurdai or nachni papad and enjoy a good meal

Joshi Wadewale is a popular eatery in the city of Pune, is famous for its delicious and authentic Maharashtrian snacks, especially its wada pav.
The wada pav at Joshi Wadewale is a must-try for anyone visiting Pune. The wada pav is made with a soft and fluffy potato filling, coated in a crispy gram flour batter and served with spicy chutney and fried green chilies. The taste of the wada pav is heavenly and leaves a lasting impression on the taste buds.
Apart from wada pav, Joshi Wadewale also offers other Maharashtrian snacks such as sabudana vada, kothimbir vadi, and misal pav. The food is fresh, hygienic, and reasonably priced.
The restaurant is small and often crowded, but the service is quick and efficient. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience enjoyable for visitors.
Overall, Joshi Wadewale is a great place to enjoy authentic Maharashtrian snacks. The wada pav is a must-try for anyone visiting , and the other snacks are equally delicious. The restaurant is worth a visit for anyone who loves to indulge in local cuisine.
