My first experience, let me begin by informing the direction given by google map is wrong, its on main road towards chapekar chowk under the flyover, next to linen king showroom.
The place does not justify the workload, there is so much workload and no place for staff to sit or keep important documents, everything is lying on floor or tables, the section where you go looking for your document if not received at home is upstairs, in a small cramped place where you cant stand staight if you are 6 foot. On floor all postmans are sitting with customers.
Working in such environment is difficult
Post office location is very easy to search.parking not available.only two wheeler park at flyover bridge side.staff behaviour very very rudely. Not helpful people's here. Very long lunch break.1:30 hours. I hope staff change his routine and doing his job very well.
A little crowded place but better then some other adjoining post offices. Service is good though sometimes affected by large crowd. If all your paperwork is proper doesn't take much time.

For all those of you who run to Bluedart and DTDC when you have something important to ship... take a moment and opt for our Indian Postal EMS service.
Lately, over multiple instances, I have found EMS to be 100% reliable, efficient and at least 5 times cheaper than the private courier companies.
Ems has a decent tracking site, where you can find detailed trace details of your items.
Both within India and international (I did US).
Last but not the least, the post office staff. I go to the Chinchwad, Pune post office, and have found the staff there are very helpful and understanding. Just smile when you talk to them. :)
