if you like spicy food this is the place ... tried chicken thali was good, comes with chapati/bhakri, suka chicken and chicken masala , costs Rs250/- ... the ambiance and hygiene could have been better
Saoji chicken, this name is synonymous with my memories from my childhood, college and later part of life when I visited back. This particular instance of an outlet resembling Nagpur's most famous and favorite saoji place, didn't come up to the expectations that name carried.
I often visit the new saoji outlets in Pune city. By far I have had success and great home taste, but this instance I was disappointed to some extent.
Flavors are ok, ambience as expected, but major taste disappointment didn't went down well.
To start with, it was sweet. The rassa was not saoji at all, and patoadi rassa was an abject failure.
Couldn't taste that greatness of taste for which I went.
Suggested and informed the owner about the same, and he has assured that he would look into this soon.
Hoping he comes back with some original taste, and awaiting more visits.
This place is really good for saoji lovers.. Authentic SAOJI food must try. this place has really keeping name of original saoji test just awesome..
If you know saoji and typical saoji hotels, you'd not be disappointed. Everyone has their own idea of an ideal saoji taste so do not trust anyone's review but try it yourself and decide. For me it was a 'close enough' taste and I will definitely visit again.
This place is the must visit for Nagpur saoji speciality.
Saoji chicken is must try for its authentic taste and it's on a spicy side so better be careful trying for the 1st time
I parceled a full chicken curry from here once, and it was fully enjoyed.
If you're looking for a nice, spicy chicken curry you could do definitely try them. The food also has a homely feel to it. Saoji cuisine is spicy, just know this if you're not aware. Don't complain about it later.
Will be back to try the sukka chicken next. Keep it up guys!
Had tried today, tastes like Nagpur's saoji, very well prepared dish, it has two outlet in baner. Ambiance is okay, staff are friendly. Will definitely recommend
Amazing food. Assal saoji. I ordered chicken handi, the taste was really great.
The saoji masala perfect. Colour of gravy and tarri was something which made my day.
Since last 2 years I was looking for authenticate Saoji restaurant in Pune. My hunt ended with Pintu Saoji. Let me assure you that I have tried almost every restaurant in Pune which claims that they serve Saoji food. But each time I had encountered disappointment. But Pintu Saoji is the only restaurant which has original taste of Saoji food. Best thing is that they serve mutton of goat and not of sheep! One must try mutton curry along with Bajra bhakri. Also the garlic rice is superb here. Only thing which might disappoint you is the small space to sit as they have only 4-5 tables. But trust me, you will forget about an ambience n all as soon as you take your first bite! Cheers 👍
