Good food quality and taste, especially the starters, chicken and mutton dishes, and naan.Ambience is great with live music playing on some days.
Our first visit at medi point outlet was pleasant. They have two types of seating. One with low height cozy ones but you have to put down your shoes to sit. Another one is sofa and chair. The decor is nice. The hospitality is extremely good. The service is quick. Parking is available in the basement of the building. They serve alcohol as well. Regular water is also served. Quiet place with delicious food. Fish lasooni tikka and chicken lahori was very delicious. Will visit again in future.
The KarolBaug- Dawat-e-Mehfil outlet is located in Aundh, it is easy to access if you have your own vehicle.
The food is tasty, especially Chicken Lahori is delicious. They could improve on the Butter Naan as it becomes stretchy after sometime.
The service is prompt and well paced.
The ambience is right on the point, and very well maintained.
The crowd is descent, you can check this out with friends, partner, and family too.
Overall, I would recommend this place to my friends and family.
One of the more well established restaurants of Aundh, competition for Rahul and Sarja.
Food: Decent variety of food and beverages in the Menu. Decent portions of fresh, delicious food. Though sometimes Spice levels of the same food on different foods can differ.
Service: Excellent service with a smile. The managers and waitstaff know how to manage pressure.
Atmosphere: Great ambience and decoration. Comfortable seating arrangement, especially the low seating areas. However, the singer / karaoke is too loud, need sound level to be 50% of current.
Overall, a decent place to dine in.
Restaurant ambience, seating and staff service are good. However, the food was just average. We ordered Hara bhara kebab, their special veg gravy and butter tandoori & missi rotis, virgin mojitos (watermelon and original) & masala papad.
Nice hangout place with family or friends but slightly expensive.
Karolbaug Dawat-e-Mehfil offers an exceptional dining experience. The service is prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall visit. The quality of food is outstanding, with a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. The warm ambience creates a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by soothing music that adds to the overall charm. A delightful destination for those seeking a memorable culinary experience.
The place is huge and have comfortable sitting.
The service is quick and have lovely hospitality.
Tried the veg menu and liked it.
Paneer Ki Nazakat - Paneer was soft, nicely roasted/grilled, had a stuffing and was delicious.
Mushroom Babycorn Mai Tai - It was crispy, had a subtle taste and was good.
Junglee Papad - The papad was layered with a Manchurian type batter and garlic. It had crunch, had a little garlic flavour and yumm.
Veg Dum ka Vatti Masala - The mix veg was Dum'ed and served like dum biryani. It was cooked well, had a dum flavour, creamy, medium spicy and luscious.
Veg Pulao - The rice was cooked well, it was filled with veggies and whole spices. It had a fresh taste and it went well with gravy.
Gajar ka Halwa - The halwa was fresh, cooked well, had balanced sweetness and was heavenly.
Worth Trying.
Despite living here never went to Karol Baug for food, I will say it was a big mistake.
The ambience is quiet and spacious. Staff courteous and attentive.
We had cream of 🍅 tomato soup, a bit towards the sweet side and was approved by the kids. Veg manchow soup had a nice kick to it. The cheese balls were a bit disappointing due to lack of enough cheese.
The main course was veg. Bhuna, and tandoori chicken kheema with rotis and laccha Paratha. The food portions were generous and lipsmacking. Despite stuffing ourselves the food did not get over.
The pan towards the end was a welcome surprise.
I went in to try their Karolbaug Special Chicken Biryani. Prices are tad bit high now. Ambience and hygiene was good. Service was quick and friendly.
Starters:
Bhatti Da Murgh 4/5
Tandoori Chicken 5/5
Main course:
Karolbaug Special Chicken Biryani 3.8/5
Good non veg restaurant in Aundh. Food quality is good but there is still some change for imprivement. Ambiance is nice. There is live music on weekends (gazals and hindi songs)They have a small banquet hall on the 1st floor for 100-125 odd guest. Vallet parking is available. A meal for 2 would cost somehwhere around INR 900-1200/- Satff is friendly. You can give it a try for sure.
