Quite a lot of variety available on the menu but the service is a little slow. Maybe that could have been better but like the place overall!
Most humble and outstanding place. Lovely people, great taste, great quantity and great prices. My vegan friend got everything she wanted. The restaurant owner and cooks were knowledgable and helpful enough to know how to make anything vegan. My vegan friend was up in clouds. We ordered vegan papaya shake, veg laffa and 2 pancakes (which we couldn't click pictures of because we were hungry af). They also made us all organic pancakes. They cook everything from scratch. Everything is made on order and fresh. It's a vegan heaven. One of the few places in India which serves quality, hygienic and healthy food at perfectly fair prices. Plus the location was great too. We ate by a view of mountains and Ganga river. Will visit everyday for the rest of the stay!

We went to this beautiful cafe by chance.. As we were looking for breakfast. And we enjoyed the ambience its really like to its name free spirit.
Crowd was mainly foreigners there. All were jolly. We sat by the window ordered indian and English breakfast menu consist alu ka parantha coffee tea and sandwiches. Service was slow.
But meanwhile we enjoyed the view.
There were monkeys also by the window so they handed us a gulel :_)

Small , Quaint , Cosy and delicious food with serene views of ganga river. That just sums up it. Food is at reasonable rate and delicious. I would recommend their ginger lemon tree , banana shake , cafe latte for drinks. Falafel served with pita bread and hummus with fresh fruits salad on sides was delicious so was their panner paratha , masala omelette and pancake.
- Free Spirit cafe is really a hidden gem because of its location. Just after entering this cafe you will see reception and after that you will fall in love with this cafe.
- This cafe is located on first floor.
- Host is very friendly.
- They do not use any masala and this is the main USP of this cafe.
- I ordered Paneer butter masala, Garlic Naan & Plain roti. Food was really awesome and so fresh.
- Quick service and very clean place to sit and enjoy your meal.
- Nice music was playing.
- I will definitely visit this cafe again.

Lovely view and good food and options. Definitely need to try the coffee and chai options. Burgers are nice and filling so are pastas. It’s a good place to visit
Its not because it is cheap, but it is Fresh and the best food in town! Try the falafel burger and the chocolate pancakes for desert! Defenetly recommend it !!!!

I visited almost all the cafes in rishikesh in my stay there, nowhere else would u find such a happening crowd.
I was travelling solo but the owner of this cafe made sure i have good company and have a great time here. Food is also amazing. Pizza is most ordered and a must try.

This place is very different and well organized according to other places. The food is amazing, music of your choice. They do have a variety of food and drinks you can select from. I honestly love the great interior all over the place.

Hospitable hosts, perfect place as it serves wide variety of pure veg cousine with a delicious taste no matter what I order I am always delighted with meal and for their prices it's 100% worth it. i was on the vacation last Friday in Rishikesh with my friends 🙂
i book my hotel in upper tapovan but due to some reason it was cancelled i don't know why 😔
than I tried in 15 hotel and hostel only few hotel have room but they charge more than 6000 per night 🌉
then we decide to be sleep in car but it's really not comfortable 😇
than we go to laxman jhula one person is sitting next to us we talk about our Balck night in Rishikesh then the person who is next to us talk with me and he is owner of the free spirit cafe he have only 2 dormatry bed left in his hostel but we are four friends and owner gives us their bed and one other staf person bed at the night 🌉 that time we not imagine what is going on, In morning we talk to owner where you sleep in night he told us that he sleep in cafe then we realised that people also have golden ❤️ heart in Rishikesh

I Stayed there for two weeks, never made me realize that I'm not home really! Even I remember the names, Nishant (the owner) is a wonderful guy, a friend that everybody needs, also, Sudesh (the chef), this man got some real talent for making food, you surely gonna miss him while you'll be back at your usual place. The painting on the walls is a piece of art, live music on the weekends is the cherry on top, and most importantly, I was able to meet my beloved Ganga Maa whenever I wanted to, as there is a small ghat just opposite the cafe! Really a nice place, for the spirits who want to be free, technically for all of us, see you soon!
