I observed that your restaurant charging 20rs for a 10rs Thumbs Up, which appears to be a significant price difference compared to what I expected. I've been dining here since my childhood, (when I used to come back home from my school, my god those Nostalgic days)
My All time Favorite here is
1. Ginger chicken (gravy) and Butter Naan roti's
2. Roasted chicken.
II strongly recommend these two.
I still visit this restaurant and the taste is exactly the same.

This restaurant is an alternative for Bawarchi restaurant. It is adjacent to bawarchi. If you're someone who's looking for a peaceful time with some good food then it's the right place. You can find family section as well. This is usually not packed with customers but food is affordable and tasty. MUTTON BIRYANI is a must try food at this restaurant. I would suggest you not to try starters

After a disappointing experience at BawarcHi's last night, we went basically next door to the New Astoria today. Here we received what we were looking for, a masala and meat rich mutton biryani. I gave it 5 stars, my companions 4 stars. They would have given 5 stars but found a little too many bones. Also the presentation was excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. Also, unlike at BawarcHi's, our jumbo dish was covered while eating, keeping the biryani warm. The atmoshpere was also nice and spotlessly clean. If you want a REAL tasty biryani in a nice place , come here instead. Akshay, your aunty's biryani still tops my list, but today's comes mighty close.
Had tea over here and it's excellent, Alu samosa and biscuits are also tasty.
