Just when I was about to get disappointed while trying to find one decent restaurant on mall road, devicos stood right at the corner waiting for me. Went inside and ordered handi chicken with butter naan. As soon as i took the first bite, my tastebuds overflowed with yumminess. Perfect quality, taste and generous portions. The handi chicken had 5 huge pieces and the total quantity was more than enough for 3 adults. The naan was soft and fresh. The sirka pyaaz was complimenting our main course perfectly. Then came our chicken biryani which was more like chicken pulao and the portion was more than enough for two adults. The biryani was mildly spicy and the raita along with it was adding to the taste. Besides the food, the staff too was very humble and dedicated. The service was quick and the bill was very decent. Overall, if you're looking for good food quality without burning a hole in your pocket, devicos is doing it just right since 40 years and your hunt should end right here. Cheers :)
Somewhere in the bustling Mall Road, you will find this silent place! Stepped in for a late lunch and enjoyed sunset from the window! We had tomato soup, hot chocolate, chicken fried rice, dal tadka and jeera rice! Though courteous and warm, found the service to be a little slow.
Overall, good place!
Serves the best food in shimla right now I guess which is freshly prepared plus good staff behaviour. The quantity of the food is also good considering the amazing quality.
I would suggest you to try their fish and any chicken dish.In veg I always have Khumb makai paneer which i have been having since 7 years. I have seen this place evolve and i think right now this is the best restaurant in shimla .
Had golgappa's here.
Atta golgappe were in amazing. They were very very crispy. Not similar to one in Delhi.
The plus point was water used in golgappa's was aqua guard water.
MUST TRY.
It’s a very nice restaurant, the only place where waiter came himself and served.... otherwise I didn’t see nice hospitality in shimla ... excellent food and taste
Devicos is one of the most famous restaurants in Shimla. They have a restaurant, a pub on the top floor and also a banquet. I visited the restaurant and loved the ambience. It is perfect for a meal with friends or family.
I tried :
• Ajwaini Fish Tikka - The fish was very soft and well grilled. I loved the wonderful smokey flavour which it imparted.
• Chicken Seekh Kebab - The kebab was soft and simply melted in my mouth. It was done with butter and cashew paste.
In the mains, I tried pulao and garlic naan with Butter Paneer and Mutton Rara. The food was finger licking good. Completely loved it.
If you're in Shimla, you must have food from here.
One of the best places to dine in Shimla, it has a bar as well, the rates are quite reasonable and quality of food is very good.
With the drinks we had chicken tikka masala, Mutton boti masala & fish tikka were excellent, chicken clear soup in cold weather was comforting and nourishing.
Mains of Paneer Kumbh Makai, Dal Makhni with assorted bread were just perfect. We ended the meal with hot gulab jamun. The service was very good. This is kind of place you can repeat any time.
Great place to hang out....the food was good with perfect taste ....although the service was not that fast ..but is a must try place...with nice interiors
Decent place for hangouts with family and friends...Indian & Chinese fast food & mains served in a casual, dimly lit space with split-level seating . The location is easily accessible from Mall road and is an all time crowd puller.
Late night opening hours add to the convenience.

I've had great experiences at various restaurants and bars. The ambiance, service, and menu diversity can make or break the experience. A cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and a well-crafted cocktail menu always leave a positive impression.
Nice vintage style gastropub which offers great food.
The selection of menu is good and all kinds of vegetarian and non vegetarian foods are readily available.
Some of the chicken dishes can considered signature style.

This is one of the best lounge bar you will ever come across specially in a hill station. I went on a bachelor trip with my gang and this was the best phase of my life. We partied like anything and this place was like a cherry on the cake. We had so much fun there. Drinks were amazing and had tried the best chicken korma there. The crowd was decent and everyone had fun time there. Every people came there for relaxation and we enjoyed everything...
Food quality was awesome. Nobody will be disheartened by tasting this restaurant food items. And the service provided by it is also superb. Waiter is also very cool. Wish anything u will get in your hand. Visit this restaurant one day i promise u will not regret.
A really nice bar if you like to enjoy your drinks without any loud music and too much crowd. This place mostly has one or two tables empty to host your gang. The food is decent enough, nothing spectacular. But the ambience is nice and they have most of the options readily available from their menu.
This restaurant is located near AG office, Mall road. The ambiance is nice. Both veg and non veg dishes are available. Good service. We tried both, the taste is yummy.
Food quality is very good. They also have different type of menu. If you want anything you can share with them,if possible they will serve that too. Stuffs behavior are too good and ambience are fantastic.
Great restaurant with a great vibe and nice staff that greets you and treats you well, and most importantly great food too either it's dessert or food or anything it's served fresh and with a great presentation of the dish too in the plate.
