Nav Gomantak is a Goan restaurant in Thane. This place can easily located from eastern expressway. It is one of the best sea food and crowded restaurant located Panch Pakadi Thane. The food however is excellent! It is worth everything we went through till the food arrived. They have varities of options available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This joint offers a range of veg and non-veg thalis and amazing choice of non-veg starters. We all opted for thali and they were extremely delicious and filling. Quantity and quality are in proportion, affordable prices. Each of their thali is accompanied with yummy solakadhi which pleased your soul and a fish cury. Along with sea food they also serves chicken and mutton dishes accordingly. Mutton thali served the best sukha mutton. Being a sea food restaurant, their other items were also awesome. The wadas were hot and simply perfect. Their service is so good they serve hot food within minutes. Staffs were polite and friendly. The atmosphere around is great. The authentic look and feel of this place is speechless. If looking for a cosy restaurant with great Maharashtrian tastes like sea food and curries with marathi and konkani flair offered in a casual family friendly space then this is the place where you can have it all and you must try it atleast once for great konkani taste. They also have services like takeaway and deliveries. Value for both good food and money.

Tried Prawns masala thali with puri, jawla chutney, rice, salad, kokam-coconut chutney, and solkadhi 🤤🤯 Prawns masala, kokam-coconut chutney and solkadhi were no doubt my favs among everything... puris were served on the name of wade which was the disappointing part.. 😑
This restaurant is by far the best seafood restaurant I have ever came across. Have mouth watering food and it’s worth the price.
Ordered a Mutton Masala Thali from Nav Gomantak who are famous for their Malvani and Konkani Cuisine. It came with 2 Chapatis, Plain Rice, Mutton Gravy, Sol Kadhi & Chutney.
The Mutton Gravy was very tasty and made in a well prepared masala. The quantity was good. Pieces of mutton were fresh and melting in the mouth. The Chapatis were soft and went down easily. The Rice and Sol Kadhi were also nice. A very enjoyable meal overall.
This Non-Veg restaurant is the best at Panch Pakhadi Thane(W). Had this Delicious Non-Veg items with full of taste & satisfying heart. Best presentation with perfect taste. Good Ambience & Staff Service here. A must visit restaurant for Non-Veg Lovers, especially Malvani.
I like sea food that's why go in nav gomantak and really get sea food in this hotel i like eat

One should really go here for Maharashtrian cuisine. They have got the best thalis one would never thought of ♥️♥️♥️

This is especially for non-veg food lovers. The food was very delicious and we ordered surmai, rawas and crab thali... Veg preparation is not that great as we ordered sukka Fanas bhaji and it was very salty.. The waiting time on weekends could be anything from 30 -45 mins..Parking of vehicles is a big problem even on Sundays. Beer is available but only pint beer and the rates are too high. Seating arrangements need improvement as the space is too congested for 5 people.. Overall the sea food quality is awesome 👍
Food tastes good. Very crowded. I got waiting queue. I beleive generally it be like that. It's a sea food restaurant with decent ambience. The moment you'll enter in, you'll smell those fishes. Bombil fry and prawns tava fry was delicious. Surmai tava fry was nice too. I tried Crab lolipop for the first time over here however, i didn't like it. I'm not sure if that's how crab lolipop tastes as i said already it was the first time i tried. Mutton sukkha was nice but very salty. Fish was fresh. When we usually go to any sea food restaurant, priority is be the freshness of fish and that's what was there. Rate is average. A must try👍
Visited the restaurant earlier this month, nestled at the corner on the service road of highway leading towards Mumbai. Nov Gomantak was on my wishlist for a while. Ambiance was decent, however place isn't huge hence there was a considerable waiting time after 8.00 PM
Noticed most people were eating Thali which is their signature specials. However I ordered few items from individual sections. Service was quick and attentive.
Crab Lollipop looked good and I was hoping for a taste as near as Chaitanya Dadar however was bit disappointed. Crab Lollipop were not fried for longer, even though the exterior was crisp the inside portion was still cold and that was turn off.
Bombil Rava Fry was delicious and well made. However my favorite was Batatyachi Kaap. Each bite was crisp and fried to perfection. Marination was spicy as per my particular instruction. Loved it.
Overall decent to good first experience here. Looking forward to try more varieties.
Nice sea food restaurant 😋 soul kadhi was really good n very tasty. Prawn masala and fish fry are also nice. Prawn biryani was a bit too spicy. But the surmai fry was nice. One time visit is a must.
Nav Gomantak is a quaint restaurant right next to the highway! Food is exclusively for malvani seafood lovers. The quality and quantity is top notch! ⭐ For starters we tried the - Bombil Rava Fry and Crab Lollipop. Both were served hot and melted in the mouth. For mains we ordered the Surmai Fry Thali (choice of chapati/bhakri/wade + rassa + coconut and kokum chutney+ sol kadhi + dry prawn chutney + rice) and Pithla Bhakri Thali (veg thali - sol kadhi, rice and daal + chutney). The Thali is very filling so it's better to go easy on the starters. Sol kadhi was the best. If you're planning to come with a lot of people then better come early otherwise you've to be waiting outside.
Nav gomatak , a must try for a sea food lover. South West coastal konkani and goan flavours.
Food was amazing, tried the surumai thali. Fresh fish , and that authentic tastes wil melt ur taste buds

This is my review after 3rd visit to their hotel today.
As mentioned by other people about wait time - yes it is approx 35-40 mins on weekends and it is worth spending this time to enjoy non veg delicacy.
The hotel is purely for non vegetarians but you will still get veg food at similar taste as that of Non Veg.
I know I may sound rude / nostalgic about vegetarian but this place is mainly for non vegetarian to enjoy the sea food items such as Crab 🦀, prawns 🍤, 🐟, etc.
The crab lollipop as starter is one of the best starter one can enjoy. Followed by Prawns koliwada !!!ummm it’s sooo tasty 😍🥰
The location is good on service road next to Shell Petrol pump, people can park their cars.
The hotel should renovate their entrance / more appealing entrance as due to a tree coming in between hides the name a bit.
Taste of sea food is awesome because all the items we ordered were 100% fresh!! No frozen food 👏🏻👌🏻
Prawns, crab, pomphret, rawas etc were freshly cooked!!
Only 1 suggestion— they need to increase the space to accommodate more people and continue serving them the same delicious, fresh food.
The food & taste was yummy 😋🤤. Had prawns thali which was very tasty & the quantity was also enough for a single person.

Visited this restaurant late last month on 27 September 2023 while returning from Shirdi, it had a closed sign on the door. We requested staff to serve us and to use toilets as it was a long drive while coming back to Mumbai.
On most of tables people were eating Thali which is their signature specials. We had ordered Pomphret thali, Ravas thali, Mutton thali and Rice with Kokum kadhi. Service was quick and attentive.
We had a great experience and wishing team Nav Gomantak very very best and kudos to chef and his team too.!

Had been here for dinner. Ambience is simple. We tried their tisrya thali And Rawas tawa fry. Tisrya Thali was too good, the quality and quantity of tisrya were upto the mark. Rawas fish was not that great, the taste was good but fish was not fresh. I would recommend their Tisrya Thali.
