I stay near the place and have been patronizing it for about 7 years. Yes! The ambiance is pleasing and soft. Afternoon lunches with a family group are great. They are "aged friendly" i.e. very accomodating to aged and infirm people. As far as the evening crowd goes it can tend to get a little bit noise on the weekends. On weekdays it is yet soft and one can hold a conversation without having to scream.
Service: Friendly. Sport a smile and you'll see it reciprocated. The staff is very very helpful especially towards the aged who can tend to get finicky with their needs. But all met with a smile.
Food: A must-have is the Chicken Pahadi Kebab. Its soft, succulent and a favorite of us all. The prawns are not all that great in size. Whats kingsize for them is "What? Where?" for you. And I've had it around 3 or 4 times. Koliwada dishes ain't that great. You'd be safer sticking to the tandoor items.
Drinks: Don't expect hi-funda brands. Mainline stuff, beer and hard, all available.
Crowd: Sometimes you will come across the odd patron who is garrulous. Mostly, you won't. the ambiance itself encourages and promotes quiet conversations. it is the odd boor who doesn't recognize the surroundings that will talk loud and make a nuisance of himself. Generally, Royal Challenge is frequented by the senior mgmt types in the day time(a group even) and by small business group types in the evenings. On a weekend you'll find it populated by families.and hence perhaps a bit noisy.
Oh yes, they don't do takeaways. But if you smile and ensure them a big order then they will xerox their menu and welcome a call from you! (Voice of experience!)
Go with your friends and family and enjoy the food and ambience. Personally I love the non-veg. Main course and desert is also too good. They have really nice menu. I want to taste each and every dish. Definitely I will go very soon.
The staff is well behaved. They also take care of your kids.

Had a casual dining with friends. We all were very hungry after tedious day of outing. We requested to staff to serve us quickly. And to our surprise they served the food without loosing time. We ordered Gosht Roganjosh with tandoori roti. Aroma of Gosht was really good. Perfect blend of masalas. And roti was served hot on table
Ambiance gives me really a great feeling of being really a royal one.

Starting with Buttermilk
Soup- Palak ka shorba.
Starter- Mutton shammi kabab
Jhinga khadai.
Roti- Garlic naan the combination of Methi machhli.
Main course- Kashmiri pulao with the combination of nimbu hari mirch ka murgh, mushroom Palak kofta.
Dessert- Kulfi with Rabdi
Ended well all thanks to the kitchen staff and floor staff and manager for making the evening wonderful. . . .

We had Chinese food and it was palatable for sure.
Dishes had good amount of chicken and prawns and portion size was good ,which didn't disappoint us.
Must mention server Babu was really good and he made sure dishes were made as per our customisation.
This has been one of the long standing restaurants in Thane for manh years. My recent visit after years told me 2 things: ambience hasnt changed which means its not upgraded and food hasnt changed which means great cuz food was never an issue here. We had chicken shorba, paneer chilly, pomfret tikka and mutton roganjosh, all were winners! Service is great too, if only they upgrade their ambience they will be right up! Worth a visit for sure
The best place to spend an evening with your family.
They serve best food and they provide us with best service. The ambiance is quite and have a friendly environment.

Probably the best butter chicken ever tasted! Little bit high on the cost compared to the quantity but the taste is dann good!💯❤️ loved it a lot!

Ambience - Basic
Food was tasty.
We tried Chicken Banjaara kebab - it was tasty & can be tried. Quantity was also good & enough for 3-4people.
Main course - we had Chicken Lahori which was again good in taste.

One of the best and oldest fine dine restaurant bar which is located at Eastern express Highway, Panch pakhdi Thane West. It is one of the royal place to which I recently come across.
Ambience of this place is royal and huge.
Celing and walls are very well decorated which gives a great look to this place.
Talking about seating arrangement is very managed and organised in respect of couples, group of friends and families.
They have perfect and attractive combination of wooden tables and comfortable wooden chairs and sofas to seat.
Talking about staff...
Staff are very experienced and professional and services given by them are quick. Thanks to Royal Challenge II management to taking care of us and helped us to choose delicious dish during the visit.
Food was delicious and mouthwatering. Food presentation was attractive. I found here food and drink menu vast.

Very courteous staff,dressed well,amazing kebabs and chinese starters the best in chicken is malai,pahadi,kasoorimethi chicken, in fish u have to try the bombil fry and surmai,the best and 100% excellent in veg is a mushroom schezwan with cheese filling, main course best is butter chicken ,dal tadka, dal khichdi, any paneer dish, liquor is decently priced and some superb cocktails the best is the sheesha lounge called force.

Royal challenge is one of the oldest restaurants in the heart of Thane. It has a huge seating space available with loyal staff for over years and yes obvly lip smacking food
Food:
Malaysian Kebab: huge chunks of chicken marinated with loads of butter and spices is something you must have
Prawns tawa fry: deliciously garnished and marinated pieces of prawns though a bit small is delicious
Pomphret Rawa fry: the fish was cooked well with proper addons to enhance its taste. Do try if you are an ardent sea food lover
Chicken satay: juicy chicken chunks marinated with shezwan sauce js a bit spicy but tastes good
Chicken rara masala and Machhli Goan curry : both the main course vegetables were unique with their taste. Goan currh with appropriate use of coconut was heaven. Rara masala do try kn mutton. Thats their best selling
Rabdi with kulfi: soothing as usual
Drinks: love on the beach, long ice land, black scotchman and planter's punch: famous for drinks and food, they have some nice variety of cocktails too. All were presented well and was strong enough to make you drool
Ambience is pretty cool with soft music playing. The staff here is awesome. Mr. Rakesh assisted us with the selection of dishes and drinks.
Do dine in here with one of the constants in Thane. 😊
This is easily accessible place which is located near Korrum mall. It's one of old restaurant in Thane and well known for Nonvej food. Place has decent ambience with silent music which enhanced your mood.
Royal sizzler mocktail - which is fresh & creamy, well blended with Icecream
In starter we had chicken 65 & Murgh kabab both are delicious , properly Cooke & well marinated. For sea food lover Crunchy prawns koliwada is recommended.
In main course must try Royal Special Sabji ( combination of different veggie which served with red and green gravy
Finally in dessert we had kulfi with Rubdi - it's amazing combination and very tasty.
Overall we had great experienced of delicious dishes, well decorated interior and prompt service.✌️✌️
Royal challenge bar is a great restaurant with great food. Comes under fine dine and is located at service road next to korum .
The dishes were very good . We had Chicken lahori and naan for mains. Too good the gravy and no color added . Gravy was red in color . Chicken pieces were minced and adequate. Properly cooled meal .
For starters we had , prawns rava fry . This was so simple and epic . Love the taste .
Chicken kebab in green sauce. Something extra ordinary and taste sexy .
Malaysian kebab :- Tender chicken breast pieces tossed in sauces and great presentation.
Chicken Kasturi kebab. Mind blowing taste .
We were greeted by Mr Rakesh. He is the head manager and go for his choices over the food.

Royal challenge II is one of the oldest restaurant located near Korum mall in Thane. Restaurant have good relaxed ambience just like 90's. They have different types of seating arrangements. Staff was courteous and service was prompt.
Things we tried :

Both the mocktails were refreshing and tasted good. My personal favorite was fruit punch.
💠 Starters :
1. Methi corn tikki - Methi corn tikki was delicious combination of corn and fenugreek leaves. taste delightful with mint chutney.
2. Veg Crispy - It was crispy, tangy and delicious. Had goodness of vegetables & indo-chinese sauce.
💠 Mains :
1. Paneer Ludhiana -fresh paneer cube cooked in creamy, mildly tangy gravy tasted good with butter naan.
2. Sabzi Kolhapuri - mixed vegetables cooked in thick and spicy gravy tasted delicious.
3. Jeera rice & Dal tadka - piping hot jeera rice and dal tadka was
simple and comfort food.
💠 Desserts :
Royal Sundae : It was the perfect dessert to finish off a delicious dinner.
Overall a not-so-expensive place with decent ambience and soft music played in the background, it's a perfect place to dine in with family and friends.

Not very heavy on the pocket, this restaurant serves the best Indian food in Thane .It is a multi-cuisine restaurant specializing in Indian cuisine.
