This is a very economical take away centre for food. The most important, it is very clean and hygienic. Food is average in taste but enough for one person. Apart from that menu is very small so very little options for you. Couple of vegetables, rice, daal and roti. Idli and some morning snacks. Staff is very polite,

There is no seating arrangements here so you need to eat standing or take a parcel.
I like kokam Sharbat most, during hot summer days it gives quite a relief.

04.05.2015, Monday, 12:00 hours : This place is very close to my office, so whenever i need a change from usual home cooked stuff and looking for a non spicy and absolute basic dish to eat i go to this place.

Dal Khichdi: As it being an economic eatery the dishes are very limited. They have maintained the very basic genre of taste. I ordered dal khichdi it was cooked in plain tur dal with the addition of rice and in flavours of mustard seeds, it was hot and fresh. No addition of coriander and green chilies or red chillies to fine-tune its taste. It is definitely very light in nature but you need to innovate, otherwise it gets inclined towards the bland side. 

Kokum Sharbat: Chilled sharbat red in color, giving the right flavour of kokum, perfectly sweetened and cooled so as to recognise the flavour, it is very refreshing.

Pricing (4.0/5)

Pricing is very economical. I paid Rs.40/- for Dal Khichdi and Rs.10/- for Kokum Sharbat and Rs. 2/- for medium size roasted papad. So you can have a full fledge meal in Rs. 50/-. Their no tax structure and quantity is good as per the pricing.

It is a small eatery on the main road of Khopat area with absolute open kitchen.Here you do not have a sitting option but yes one can eat the meals by standing. Spacious and comfortable standing place.The best thing i like about this place and which attracts me to visit it again and again is the cleanliness and hygiene. It is the best in class, i havent seen such eatery that keeps its kitchen so clean and systematically. It is well organized and the staff here wears a tissue cap and gloves every time. 

Also, Use and throw plastic cutlery is used to serve your food they don't even use plastic bags for parcel, they parcel your food in brown paper envelope, so here you can sense the aura of cleanliness all around the eatery which assures you that you have eaten something good in terms of quality.

Service is quick here and staff is very polite and smiling. They will guide and ask you for add on beverages and also inform you if there is any combo meal offers going on. They are courteous to accept your suggestions. But the problem lies with the implementation of your given suggestions.

I asked permission from the guy at the counter to click some photographs for my review but as per their policy we are not allowed to click the photographs or we have to get the approval from the head office to click the photographs, which i found bit tedious job to do, so i missed out on publishing there cleanliness aspect. 

Recommendations:

Dishes are very basic in taste, so i would recommend to at least add some flavor to enhance its taste.

Many a times i have written in their feedback book to include buttermilk as part of beverage which is more desirable to have after the meal.

Conclusion:

So if someone looking for a economic and hygienic meal and ready to compromise on taste. Then 'The Community Restaurant' in khopat is a must try.
