Have been waiting for Kokni Kanteen to reopen post Lockdown. The only restaurant serving authentic Goan delicacies in the entire of Mumbai and Thane. Their Fish Thali includes Goan Prawns Curry and Kingfish and a must have if you are dropping in for lunch. Other favourites my mine are chicken cafreal and crab masala. Overall a must visit to revive your Goan taste buds.

I always liked kokni canteen right from the day 1, when i first ate in Goa. The thane outlet is also maintaining the standards of kokni canteen very well. I will suggest stuffed papad and seradhura.
Finally, the much awaited launch of Goan Kokni kanteen in Mumbai. All excited to be here to get taste of traditional goan cuisine. Fish was pretty good - specifically try their prawns dangar(cutlet), bangda uradmethi to be had with rice, and bombil fry. Their thali was good, but surmai in the thali was average (not recommended). Service was below par, need to really ramp up workforce there. Overall a fine experience.
Head to KK Thane for the most authentic Goan Seafood. KK in Panjim has been awarded by Times Food & Nightlife guide in one of the categories for Goan Seafood - four times in a row.
Amazing Goanese/Kokani food served piping hot . The seafood soup is one of the best soups we have ever had so far compared to other restaurants in this category. Service is warm and friendly. Ambience is good with some nice Goan songs to entertain you. No liquor served. They don't have many varieties yet but am sure they will add more to their menu in the near future.

This restaurant brings the Goan Food Delite to Thane's neighborhood. This is one restaurant that we had tried and loved in Goa, and they have opened here. We had Prawns Butter garlic and prawns rice as it should be (Absolutely Delicious). The other fish variety is also spot on. Hence if you are looking for Goan food then it's must recommend.
Amazing Goan seafood. We had stuffed papad, shark masala fry(the pieces should have been a lil bigger but it was tasty), chonak rawa fry( fried nice n crisp) crab malwani and prawn balchao with rice bhakri which were amazing. Washed it down with some kokum soda.. it was indeed a heart meal

So happy to stumble upon this jewel. I am vegetarian (trying to go vegan and making more and more plant based choices everyday). The food is really delicious (yes, even the veg food), the vibe is great and it’s incredibly well-priced. The service is really warm too. I’ll be popping in often.
